They all worked hard, efficiently and thoroughly. The job was done very satisfactorily and on schedule. And I was charged just what I was quoted. The sun had come out since they left-I was astonished-the bathroom shown! The bathtub gleamed!! They are quick to schedule appointments but fail to actually show up or honor your time. I can only speak for the service, since apparently the whole actually doing the work you were asked to do is optional at Prestige. I should have checked Yelp and read all of the negative reviews that seem to have a few common threads (customer service, ACTUALLY SHOWING UP, literacy, etc.), but I didn't think about it. Further, if you are barely literate, why would you choose text messaging as your preferred method of communication? It just makes you seem totally unprofessional and incompetent, which is probably not the first impression most customers want to receive. I understand only 99% of the U.S. is literate (as of 2014), but why do I always seem to end up in text exchanges with the 1% who should have been swallowed decades ago? P.S. "K.R.", if you're planning on sending me a nasty little message in response to my review like you did to other reviewers, you can have several seats. (Hopefully those seats are in an English class, so you can learn how to capitalize, punctuate and the important differences between "their", "they're", and "there". Or any class, really, so you can learn the importance of work ethic and accountability. Girl bye.)

He reviewed the fine print as if he didn't want the business. No solution offered or any friendliness. This was my message: Hi good morning I purchased a carpet cleaning offer in Groupon for one-story home up to 900sq ft w/Scothguard treatment. May I please make an appointment to use? The space area is in an apartment, which the carpeted area is less than 900sq ft. Rooms needed would be: Living room, 2 bedrooms and One "Walk-in" closet/hall Feel free to contact me via email, call or text Thank you and have a great day :) The response given: Hello. What city your in? Have you read the fine print of the deal to see if your apartment qualifies? Not all do. 2nd reply from me: (Gave city name and county). 1st time customer. No more than 900 sq feet. 2nd level on apartment, meaning just one flight of stairs. Named the apartment complex. His response: Elevator access? Within 25ft of elevator? Those are the requirements we expressed in the fine print of the deal. My final response: I've requested Groupon to cancel the order. Thanks for your help Just dry and cut-off-ish. If this is their customer service, then, glad I didn't give them business. Again this rating is not based on actual carpet cleaning services received, but on customer service/response via email. This was their response to this review sent 2/4/18: "Hello. If your going to complain about something make sure your 100% truthful and not making assumptions to the people. We will continue to run a professional business whether u agree or not and continue to have over 90% of our customers return to us. Your a minority in your opinion. We did everything we were suppose to do and your pointing fingers for what? Because you didn't read the fine print before you purchased and all we did was told you didn't qualify and to read the fine print and now a 2 star review. You just could of got your refund and moved on like a responsible adult and your in the wrong. Hope you feel better about yourself." Again, this just confirms their horrible customer service.

Should read 3.5 stars! Can you find a carpet cleaning service on Yelp? Well yes, you…read morecan.......you can also find a grouponish offer like I did and research them yelp, but either way, after checking out the feedback of other yelpers I had them come over and Yay! I'm a semi-fan. So why am I a semi-fan and not a full-on fan? The experience with them was a little trying. I called to schedule and they didn't reply right away, but when they did it was via email and for an appointment time 3 weeks out. Since I wanted the carpets cleaned before the holidays, I didn't reply. To make a long story short, even though we never actually scheduled, a technician was sent out anyway wasting that poor guy's time (since I wasn't home) and us having to formally schedule. When we did get formally scheduled, there was a snafu of sorts on their side; the guy that was scheduled to come didn't, was replaced by someone else (making him late) and then their schedule must have been messed up because his supervisor called me trying to find him. Also, for a Groupon-like deal (it's Amazon Local) where I'm supposed to be saving 63%, I ended up paying only slightly less than the last time I got the carpets cleaned. So to sum it up, my carpets are clean but with a little drama so Yay, I'm a semi-fan.

I explained to him what the deal was, and he insisted on coming over and taking a look for himself. Initially I hesitated because I just didn't feel like dealing with it anymore, but after Mike insisted I finally relented and agreed to meet him today at 4pm. He arrived promptly at 4 and we discussed all the goings on of the day in question. He then insisted on making the situation right and volunteered to do the job over himself right then and there. Well he went to work and within a few hours I was one happy camper. The floors looked 10x better than when the previous guy was done and I was finally satisfied. I think it takes a real mensch to do what Mike did. Most business owners get a bad review and just wave it off to the cost of doing business; especially when the customer didn't pay full price for the service being done in the first place. I'm sure he lost some money on my whole deal and that's why he deserves a special commendation for doing what he did. Not to mention the fact that he volunteered to do the work himself. That's something you don't see every day. I would easily give them 5-stars, but I'm gonna have to hold to some principals and deduct 1-star for all the scheduling snafus, and not to mention the fact that it should've been done right the first time. However, I would still highly recommend this business to anyone because when they say 100% guarantee they mean 100% guarantee.
