Shouldn't have the doors open if you don't want customers. On my last visit I was paying for my rental when a customer called asking them to wait for them to arrive because they were delayed by a traffic accident and was going to arrive at 1:10 and the close at 1:00 on Saturday, after the person that answered the phone asked everyone if they wanted to wait for this customer and they all said no, they said they couldn't help if they didn't arrive by 1.

Now we are on the list to be called when it was returned and we told them our number and we had no calls. We showed up to get it and they let it go out before they even gave us notice. No call happen for us to know it was returned. They had our number write down on a piece of paper when I walked up to the counter. They said they called us but we lived in Kentucky. That is my son who lived in Bunker Hill and moved 5 years ago or so. Even though we gave them our name and my husband told him that was not him when he looked up the name in the computer. It's was not even the right address. Needless to say they run a hot mess business. They dude who called Daniel (he said I'm calling the owner when he walked away) which is who my husband talk to the first time and had it reserved with. I would not recommend this company at all. They cant conduct business correctly. If I could give 0 stars I would.

They have lots strange things; at least to me. lol. It's a fun place to go look around, but stay away from the animal skins and traps. Why aren't those outlawed! Grrrrr. Anyway, it's an interesting store. Everything from candy to Stihl equipment. They have kitchen cabinets and groceries and everything in between! I'll let the pictures do the talking! Oh and they even have a pet pig that wanders around the store between 10 and 2! lol I may never eat bacon again!

After arriving at the store she told me that they would have to now call the competitor store (Rural King) to make sure it was the right item. I was fine with that but after her call she told me she had terrible news. It was that RK currently did not currently have that item at the location she called. I found out that other locations from same competitor did have the item in stock and it could be sent to that store. So I asked her why they cant use that information? Then the girl said that they can only price match up to 20 miles from their store. I don't understand why that makes any difference when items are available and can be sent to the competitors store within their network and for free. So with a price difference of a $100 I got worst news, I will be going to the competitors and most likely not be returning to Buchheits. Reason number 1, PRICE! And number 2, is because of poor customer service.
