Marissa and her design team put together a detailed plan, including virtual design plans where we were able to see all their ideas and designs. The team presented us with various layouts for all the different areas of the house, and after selecting our preferred options the team went to work finding great furniture options for each room. We were presented multiple options for each piece of furniture and visuals to help us see how everything looked together. After making our selections, the team did a great job of keeping us updated on the status of all of our items. They arranged to have our items delivered to their warehouse to minimize the deliveries to our house, which worked out great. Once the majority of our items arrived, we scheduled a moving day where the team was on hand to make sure everything was delivered and placed exactly where it was supposed to go (and they made sure no items were damaged). Marissa and team did an amazing job transforming our new house into our home! The layouts and décor they put together for our home are amazing! We feel like we are now living in a home you'd see on HGTV. I would highly recommend Design Macs for any home projects and will definitely be using them again in the future for other projects!

Throughout this ambitious project, they proved to be optimistic problem solvers. They seamlessly worked with the engineer and contractor to install central air conditioning, navigated the demands of the building's board, and met the ever-changing requirements of the city's building department. Marissa assured our place would be different from everyone else's by reflecting my eclectic style of mid-century modern, contemporary, industrial and LA glam. My wife and I share the core value of spending time with those we love. Because of Marissa's creativity and attention to detail, our beautiful home is the perfect place to do that.

After we got our items, we confirmed the start date. Stephen and Michael arrived promptly on the day work was scheduled to begin and demoed the bathroom. They arrived every morning at the same time and worked a full day and I'm not sure they even took breaks. They completely cleaned up at the end of each day and sectioned off the work area to minimize the dust throughout the house. The bathroom remodel was expertly performed and came out exactly as we had envisioned. I highly recommend Katamount Construction. Mike, Joe, Charlie, and their whole crew renovated both bathrooms and converted our sunroom into a space we now can't imagine living without. From the very first estimate to the final walk-through, communication was outstanding. Any question we had (no matter how small), Mike, Joe, or Charlie answered immediately and patiently--always with a smile and total reassurance. They take immense pride in their work, caught details we never would have considered, and offered suggestions that took everything to the next level. They started right on time and finished in under 6 weeks (would've been even quicker if our windows and vanities hadn't been delayed by the suppliers). The craftsmanship is flawless--every time I walk by the sunroom or step into one of the bathrooms I'm still in awe. It's honestly a work of art. By the end we were genuinely sad to see them leave. They'd become part of our daily routine, and saying goodbye felt like saying goodbye to family. We miss having them around! If you want contractors who treat your home and your family like their own, hire ProBros LLC without hesitation. Mike, Joe, Charlie--you guys are the best. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

He created our dream porch, added a garage, master suite, redid multiple bathrooms, and the list goes on and on! Now that we are finished with our renovation, we wanted to let everyone know about our great experience. When other contractors said the project would take close to 6 months or more, Glenn gave us a timeline of 4-5months and would be working solely on our project. This was important to me to find a contractor only focused on my job! That is Glenn! He was right on schedule and we often saw him working at the house on weekends! He was able to obtain permits very quickly and get things done when they needed to be. Glenn included us on every decision and treated our home like It was his own from start to finish. He was very professional and easy to work with and all the subcontractors and my interior designer thought so too! He made himself available late at night and weekends to answer any questions we had. And; even though he is "done" with the house, I am confident when/if any issue arises, he will he right on top of it! I still talk to him often as am learning the ins and outs of my house (pregnant and during the pandemic). Inspections were passed without any difficulties making the end of our project seamless for me- at a very hectic time (beginning of Corona)! If you are in need of a contractor, reach out to Glenn from Glen Rock Construction. He gets the job done! I am happy I ultimately made the choice to have him take on this huge project! I look forward to keeping in touch with Glenn and I know he is always a text or call away if I ever need help with anything home related!

I genuinely cannot recommend JKR Construction highly enough. They are one of those rare contractors…read moreyou find and then never want to use anyone else. My experience with them actually began years before my full roof replacement, when I had a leak that had been an ongoing problem for years. Other contractors were telling me I would need to replace my skylights and spend thousands of dollars. JKR came out, correctly identified where the water was actually getting in, and fixed the problem without trying to sell me work I didn't need. That repair never leaked again. They saved me thousands of dollars then, and their honesty was the reason they were the first people I called when my roof eventually reached the point that it truly needed to be replaced. The full roof replacement only reinforced how much I trust them. Joe was completely upfront about what my roof needed and what the job would cost. Their proposal included the extensive plywood replacement my roof required rather than giving me an attractive initial price and then surprising me with thousands of dollars in additional charges once the roof was opened. Their pricing was extremely fair and, more importantly, transparent. The skylights are another perfect example of the kind of company JKR is. This time, the two skylights really did need to be replaced, but the existing openings were not standard sizes. Custom replacement skylights would have been extraordinarily expensive. Instead of simply passing that enormous cost on to me, Joe and his team figured out a way to rework the openings so that standard-size skylights could be installed. That solution alone saved me thousands and thousands of dollars. It's exactly the kind of problem-solving and consideration for the homeowner's money that I have come to expect from them. The workmanship and work ethic of the entire crew were exceptional. Alberto and the crew were incredible. They were here every day, worked incredibly hard and often worked late. This was a major project, including replacing a tremendous amount of plywood, and they used high-quality materials throughout. They protected my property during the work and cleaned up meticulously, even coming inside to clean dust that had settled from all the work being done above. They were equally wonderful about the gutters. There was a particular issue with how the front of my house needed to drain, and I really did not want a downspout placed where the obvious solution would have put it. Rather than telling me that was simply how it had to be done, they listened to me, worked through the problem, and pitched everything properly so that it functioned without compromising the appearance of my house. But what distinguishes JKR most for me is trust. I have dealt with enough contractors to know how difficult that is to find. Joe and his team have had multiple opportunities over the years to tell me I needed expensive work, add costs once a project began, or take the easiest solution. They didn't. Instead, they have repeatedly found ways to save me money while still doing the job correctly and using quality materials. I have already recommended JKR to friends and family, and I will continue to do so. I honestly would not trust anyone else with my roof. If I could give them more than five stars, I would.

My job took them only a couple hours and they did clean work. No issues since they finished. I won't hesitate to call them again if I have roofing projects.
