I was looking for a sliding door solution to my floor to ceiling closet of my bedroom. I looked around and found out that the places in Manhattan are so expensive. So i searched online and i found Nevato, i was a bit worried about the quality because i can only see picture of the doors. So i decided to go to their showroom, after i see the doors in person, i am confident that this is the door that i want. Fiona was very helpful and knowledgable. The final product is amazing. Definitely willing to recommend this company to everyone.

I found the Closet Builder on Google and boy what a find! They were more reasonably priced than the companies here in Manhattan, and also offer so much more customization options. The staff is also super friendly, and efficient. In under 5 hours, they managed to rip out my old closet and replace it with a new interior and set of sliding doors. The quality of my new closet is outstanding and it's also so beautiful, I'm a total dweeb and can't stop staring at it. The beautiful glass doors have also turned things up a notch in my apartment! I'm so happy we chose this company for our closet renovation.

The drawers on the big one are misaligned. They even installed top drawers in the exact spot where the sinks go, even though we bought the sinks and tops from them at the same time. Our contractor had to tear the drawers apart and reattach the fronts just to make the vanities usable. What is also interesting, when we ordered it, the salesperson did hand-drawing of the big vanity. This drawing is probably the only blueprint that was used during manufacturing. The paint on the edges is already wearing off. There are a couple of places where the primer is showing through. And the vanities we received look somewhat different from the showroom models, which had tight, clean gaps, not the big, uneven ones we got. We even stopped by the store to show them the issues. The person who took our order said she would send someone to our home to look at the problems. We never heard from her again. To be fair, the countertops are exceptionally good. But as we understand it, they are manufactured and installed by a different company that Paramus Kitchen & Bath subcontracts. After vanities were installed, they came to our home, took all the measurements, then in a few days they came again and installed countertops. Top quality. Out of our entire renovation, buying from Paramus Kitchen & Bath was the biggest mistake we made.

Paramus Kitchen & Bath is a wonderful place! John and his talented team created a beautiful kitchen…read morefor us ... and even helped us completely redesign and reconfigure the space when a building issue forced us to switch gears just after the reno got underway. We had to go with all new cabinets, new counter choices and more, and John guided us patiently through the entire process, helping us choose the best options for us, from overall style, color scheme, and materials. When we had to make decisions while out of town, again, John came to the rescue -- he showed us designs via FaceTime, and when we weren't sure which granite to choose (all long-distance!), we trusted him to help us decide on which one worked best. He was accessible and beyond patient when we kept fretting about this or that detail. The folks behind the scenes were amazing to work with too: Tania and David at the quarry, who designed the granite slabs and backsplash to highlight the beautiful natural stone, and Slawek, whose expertise with cabinetry is above and beyond. The kitchen came together beautifully, with a keen eye to design, professionalism, exquisite craftsmanship, while maximizing use of every inch of space. Many thanks to John and his entire team for giving us our new dream kitchen: tiny but mighty!

I am still ecstatic about the result -- I mean like I still smile every time I walk into the kitchen and open the fridge door!! Fast forward to Thanksgiving 2022... 4 year old grandson decides to throw something and dented the kick panel under the refrigerator. I was really something rather minor... but my OCD was kicking in big time, so I gave Rissa a call and she sorted it out... and I mean WAY over and above sorted it out. I have rarely ever been as happy with a vendor / provider -- while I had expected the worst, it was very much the opposite -- they have not yet invented words to describe how much I think this firm has some of the best "after sale support" [and we're talking a LOT of years past the actual sale!!]. While I doubt I'll be replacing a kitchen again anytime soon... if anyone ever asks me for a recommendation, there will be zero hesitation on this recommendation.

We worked with Kuche + Cucina for a kitchen remodel in Manhattan and also worked with another…read morerenovation group for the rest of the apartment. We really enjoyed working with Carmi to establish the design and that process was very painless and flexible. We were set to start on renovations in early 2020 however with COVID, we had to delay our renovations due to the building's policy. Kuche+Cucina was super understanding and held our cabinets for us until we were ready and felt comfortable with proceeding with renovations given the circumstances. However, the main reason that this is a 3 star review is that we definitely had some issues working with the renovation coordinator. Though I think we were all in unfamiliar waters with the pandemic I definitely felt like there were quite a few times when the ball was dropped on their side. For example we weren't told in advance that our contractor would need to move certain outlets in order for the cabinets to be installed even though we had asked explicitly beforehand if there was anything that needed to be done in advance. This caused delays in the whole process and required the other renovation company to schedule last minute changes around them which luckily they had no issue with. There were also multiple times that we were asked for information in an urgent manner that we had already provided prior which made the process quite stressful. In addition it seemed like coordination between Kuche+Cucina and the actual workers was a bit messy and just confusing in general. We would be asked one thing by the workers and be told by Kuche+Cucina to just not worry about it. But then later it would come up as a last minute problem and Kuche+Cucina seemed just as confused as we were and said that this was an issue with the contractors rather than take responsibility for their poor communication with their contractors. I expected a profession kitchen renovation company to be more organized especially for a relatively straightforward cabinet installation. Some requests were also totally ignored. For example, we requested that a soap dispenser hole be made in the countertop we ordered and received confirmation from the group but no hole was ever made. It's not really a huge deal to us but it's definitely just one example of many small communication issues that we had with Kuche+Cucina and the communication between them and their contractors. Meanwhile the other renovation company that we worked with for the rest of the apartment work was super communicative and easy to work with even when we hit unexpected road bumps. Since all this occurred during an unprecedented pandemic I would take our experience with a grain of salt but we probably wouldn't choose to work with Kuche+Cucina in the future.
