Jessica was a godsend. I moved to Manhattan over a year ago and downsized from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom with....Manhattan level storage. Even with donating half my stuff, I was never able to make the smaller space work for me. Cooking - one of my favorite activities - was something I avoided because I dreaded having to open the cabinets and pull out what I needed (there was always a risk of an avalanche!). Getting dressed in the morning was a pain because I would have to wrestle with my closet to pull things out to try them on. I also foster puppies, which means I have a ton of extra supplies cluttering up the area. I worked with Sandra and she was absolutely fantastic. She was friendly and helpful and was able to quickly assess my needs. Sandra approached my clutter in the most non-judgemental way, and was very sensitive to my "quirks" when suggesting changes or implementing systems. Wow.... this lady is God sent! My family and I recently moved with our 6 month old baby and needless to say we found the transition pretty overwhelming. Jessica is truly a professional and an amazing organizer. She has so much energy, I had to drink extra coffee to keep up - just kidding! She helped me with a recent move to a smaller apartment. Jessica is amazing. I recommend her highly and without any reservation. I was nervous about shelling out big bucks to organize my perpetually disastrous bedroom, and Jessica is the first organizer (other than my mother) that I've used, but it's been great. Jessica is smart and responsive. She has her own ideas, but is open to mine. I tell her what I want to get done and she suggests what we should do next and we have gotten both done (so far). She is also extremely nice and hard-working in a situation that would exhaust me. (I was worried that someone would come see my room and be shocked at how messy it was, but Jessica either wasn't shocked or didn't let it show!) She comes for 4 hours at a time, which is long enough to get a tremendous amount done, but not too long to be unable to power through. She has given me specific tasks to do while she does other tasks, which means that I organize while she organizes. I think she is excellent at determining what tasks are best suited to me vs. her. Jessica has charmingly convinced me to get rid of a LOT of stuff, which I have donated or passed along to family members. Oh my gosh, Jessica is like the energizer bunny of organizing, I called her up when I was at my wits end from a month long unpacking attempt that was slowly turning into a disaster. Within three hours of non stop work by Jessica, I could see my floor, my couch, my bedroom, shoes were put away, boxes were moved into the rooms where they ought to be unpacked and the contents put away in an orderly fashion, and a huge load was taken off my shoulders! First just in a quick synopsis: Jessica is fantastic and I can't recommend her enough. I had never hired an organizer before ( I am personally not particularly disorganized), but I was daunted by the task of moving, selling a home and having construction going on in a new home simultaneously.
