Since the first contact (direct with the owner) to discuss the scope for the work, they were very professional and crystal clear explaining what we should be doing. Summary. * Very professional and friendly crew * They work fast and organized (No time wasted) * Right price for the work (They don't try to push unnecessary things) It's hard to find good contractors out there, and Top Dog was a very good surprise. Do I recommend them? Totally

Buyer beware of this company. The business model company used with me: No estimates were given…read morewhen requested only wanted to deal in "change orders". The owner became defensive and argumentative when I asked questions about what he was going to do to my house. In addition, there was deliberate unclear communication and lack of transparency from the owner in hopes to have free reign to do whatever work he wanted. When I did ask questions to understand, owner became argumentative and was quick to cut bait from the project. He and his crew performed unnecessary work (as confirmed by a more reliable construction company). It became clear very quickly this company wanted to perform unneeded work so that he could charge me to correct it.

Then a couple of of years later I had serious hail damage on my 2006 home. They came in an replaced the roof and siding that was damaged. They worked with the insurance and made the whole thing just so easy for me. If their scope of work was wider, I would literally use them for any home related need. They will always get my recommendation and my business for any work that they can take care of. Recently, I reached back to them while selling that 2006 home in Triangle, VA to repair some wood rot that was identified in the home inspection report. They went out there and took care of it and they did it well below the other quotes I had gotten. If you want great customer service from Kevin and his team, give ADR a call and get some work done right!

Most recently they have replaced the roof, siding, as well as some windows and doors. For the value and trust one must put into contractors, you would be hard pressed to hire a better company. They are always polite and respectful when on site. Their quotes/estimates have always been competitive, and have even come in under budget. That's something you never see! Overall, they're excellent to deal with, and I will use them again when needed.

Curtie Mullins and his crew did ~$25K worth of work on my home doing some repairs around the house…read moreas well as deconstructing and building an enclosed deck off the first floor of my home. Mistakes will happen of course, and there were many but, when I asked a few times that they be repaired, they were addressed. However, in June 2023 when C&C was finalizing the deck, Mr. Mullins recommended that I use Ronald Owens to install gutter guards around my whole house since gutters were going to need to be replaced due to the new deck. The fee for the gutter guards was supposed to be $600 to which I agreed and included in my payment to C&C. Mr. Owens installed the guards while Mr. Mullins was working on my deck. Afterwards, each time it rained; the rain came down in a sheet of water in the front of my house despite the new gutter guards. I alerted Mr. Mullins to the issue while he was here, and he stated (without climbing on a letter and looking at the guards) that they were covered by debris falling from my trees and that he would return with a blower to remove the debris. He never returned - despite another reminder in person when they were painting my deck, two emails (starting in July 2023), 11 text messages and six photos of the gutter guards. The gutter guards are completely clear - I had perfect photos taken which I shared with Mr. Mullins hence, my pleas to fix the situation. However, he ignored by pleas for help. I have also called Mr. Owens three times, sent five text messages and sent a photo of the gutter guard showing that it is free of debris. Neither company is responding so, the gutter guards were a waste of money and time. In the event it is helpful to know these facts, I am placing them here. Thank you.
