A red flag should have gone up the first time he let go of the kite string...but then he did it again, only this time, the string got stuck on a neighbor's 2nd story house! I thought about buying a really tall ladder, but the risk of failure didn't seem like it was worth it. I hate height more than I hate spending money for something stupid like this. I called Harriford Exterior Restoration, because they seemed to be the closest thing to any kind of roof service and located in the area. I talked to Brandon who laughed, when I explained my predicament and said in all his years he'd never had a call for removing something off a roof. He was very accommodating. Once he found out that I actually lived in the same neighborhood as him, I think he couldn't say no at that point. I asked him what a fair price would be, and we negotiated a number that both of us was happy with. After we made arrangements, my wife reminded me that we actually had some missing roof shingles. He removed the object off the neighbor's roof and repaired our roof according to his normal hourly rate. I am very impressed with Brandon's ability to be honest, helpful, flexible, and fair, even for something so trivial as getting something off the roof.

We were tired of dealing with clogged rain gutters every spring and fall, so we called Brandon to see if he could clean them out and install gutter guards. The back of our home is 3 stories tall, so it was too precarious a job for my husband to tackle. Brandon also noticed that the gutter below our metal roof was too narrow to handle the rain volume we get during heavy storms, so he offered to replace that with a larger one that would catch the rapid runoff. We're so glad he did! No more waterfalls off our front porch. The gutter guards now prevent debris backup. Highly recommend Brandon and his team. They are very courteous and professional. They were in and out while we were away at work and they sent us photos of every gutter that was fixed. If we ever need our roof or Hardie Board siding repaired, we're calling the Harriford team!

Very unprofessional was told I made his job hard for asking questions. Shoddy work be sure to check it or have a professional check it when done. They only wanted to do the roof any other work is not worth it for them is what I was told. In the end they conveniently left out the garage said they didn't know, missed all step flashing and it took 3 times for them to do it correctly. And to top it off the salesman said I made his job difficult for adding work? that didn't get done. All the items they called out not me and they chose not to do them. The company is a joke door to door salesman don't Let them on your roof I wouldn't be surprised if they are making damage to get the job. "just to clarify how I normally handle referrals: if a homeowner reaches out to me and says they got my number from someone, and I sign them up from that introduction, I pay a cash referral. If I have to go knock on the door and introduce myself, l don't consider that a referral." Wouldn't have asked but was told I was getting for both neighbors just didn't have money app at the time?? Not a big deal but an example of how they will just tell you wha they want to get what they want. "However, throughout this process you've made my job more difficult, and in the end it was just to add a bunch of line items for work that's not even being done, which doesn't really help me or the project." Ended the job like this very unprofessional. As a construction professional for 35 years I can say if this is how you talk to a customer word gets around fast not a good look. Stay away from RoofER call a local contractor. This project has made my day harder going back and forth explaining what was missed and how to do correct the work done wrong or missed. You came to my house and disrupted my life for a job I didn't need at the time and didn't do a complete job your company should be embarrassed but the workmanship and sales tactics.

Dave Scadden single-handedly is the reason I chose to give our business to Roof Simple. Going into this, my husband and I knew whoever earned our business with a roof would also be earning our business for new siding and gutters in the future. I set up several estimates with various local companies. I accidentally overlapped two of these appointments and I loved the person who met with me before Dave. But Dave started talking siding before I even brought it up! (and not in a sale-sy way!) His passion for design and building went beyond sales. He genuinely loves real estate and renovation and he applied his passion to my home and my interests as if it were his own. I also happen to be passionate about home design, so it was a match made in heaven! He was personable, kind and provided me with an affordable avenue to put up our dream metal roof, which I never thought we could afford! Not only am I excited about this project, Dave has definitely earned my trust and our business as we continue pursuing additional exterior renovations on our home. He has taken time from his weekend to answer questions my husband and I had, he has consistently checked in with me, and not once did I feel like he was being pushy. Thank you, Dave! Roofsimple is lucky to have you!

Without hesitation I called Roofsimple and spoke to Anthony and Josh to get an insurance estimate, and schedule the repairs. Ronald was sent to put a tarp over the destroyed area and secure it so we wouldn't sustain further damage from rain ingress. The repair job was scheduled, and has now been completed. Ronald, Mauricio, and Jim just finished the 3 day repairs to the framing, roof, and front facia of the house. As with the original crew, everyone was informative, friendly, and totally professional. They matched the color of the 34 year old siding, and no one would be able to tell there had been any damage at all, and made sure the yard was cleaned up with no trace of any debris! I am extremely pleased, and I Highly recommend Roofsimple.
