I thought about buying a really tall ladder, but the risk of failure didn't seem like it was worth it. I hate height more than I hate spending money for something stupid like this. I called Harriford Exterior Restoration, because they seemed to be the closest thing to any kind of roof service and located in the area. I talked to Brandon who laughed, when I explained my predicament and said in all his years he'd never had a call for removing something off a roof. He was very accommodating. Once he found out that I actually lived in the same neighborhood as him, I think he couldn't say no at that point. I asked him what a fair price would be, and we negotiated a number that both of us was happy with. After we made arrangements, my wife reminded me that we actually had some missing roof shingles. He removed the object off the neighbor's roof and repaired our roof according to his normal hourly rate. I am very impressed with Brandon's ability to be honest, helpful, flexible, and fair, even for something so trivial as getting something off the roof.

We were tired of dealing with clogged rain gutters every spring and fall, so we called Brandon to see if he could clean them out and install gutter guards. The back of our home is 3 stories tall, so it was too precarious a job for my husband to tackle. Brandon also noticed that the gutter below our metal roof was too narrow to handle the rain volume we get during heavy storms, so he offered to replace that with a larger one that would catch the rapid runoff. We're so glad he did! No more waterfalls off our front porch. The gutter guards now prevent debris backup. Highly recommend Brandon and his team. They are very courteous and professional. Outside of the initial estimate the entire project fell short in professionalism, responsiveness and ultimately in completing the job successfully. This company will happily take your money and go weeks without responding to messages. The quality of service is sub par. When I identified several issues during the roof install I immediately contacted multiple members of the RoofER team. I was assured that these items would be taken care of and assessed during the final walk through. When it came time for the final walk through that turned out to not be true. When they replaced the flashing on one of the skylights it was offset and looks awful. When I flagged this issue, their response was "for the skylight we reflash it we have to take them out and clean up underneath of it and place them back in place. We do our best to make sure it's done seamlessly but in older homes it's very hard. Any interior work is the customer's responsibility, it is sealed correctly." They admit it is not flush, but refuse any responsibility in fixing it. This perfectly sums up the entire experience with this company.

They also charged me for cleaning. When the heating season came, I had the gas turned on, I called C1 again to get my boiler turned on. They still couldn't bug quitedc me to replace both valves for $4k or get a new boiler for $8500. OHA was the second company came to give me a diagnostic. Mr Bryan discovered that the water pipes were completely empty and found a spot on the radiator where the pipes were disconnected. No wonder the boiler won't turn on! However, OHA doesn't repair radiator pipes so he left me this valuable information without charging me a penny! I found a 3rd company came to repair the valves and saved thousands from the 1st company. Forever thankful for Mr Bryan!

He prioritized me since I had active leaks and started work started work almost immediately. He and his crew were personable and polite. The work looks great and they did a good job cleaning up. Eight months later when a pesky leak that plagued me for 14 years (off and on) reappeared he came out to investigate. Even though it didn't come from the roof as I had initially thought, Kelly figured out where the leak was coming from, told me what I needed to do to fix it, and what materials to use. If you have NEVER called, engaged, hired,…read morerequested services, signed a work-order or contract and still want to be ABUSED, HARASSED and EXTORTED by a company - Rose Restoration should be your first stop! I hired a commercial general contractor (GC) and my fixed-bid contract was ONLY with the GC. The GC has freedom to hire any person to work on the project. Rose Restoration was subcontracted by my GC's vendor. Rose Restoration is claiming that the vendor that contracted them did not pay them even though we have paid 100% of what was owed to the vendor. They are claiming that there were change-orders that are pending. I asked them to present me the approved change-orders in Aug 2025 which they still haven't done. We do not pay any more than the contract states except if we receive a change order. The change order has to be approved before any work stated on the change order is performed. No change order was ever presented to us - I had not even heard of Rose Restoration till months after the project was delivered. After the project was delivered, we paid 100% of what was owed to the GC as that is our only legal touch-point. Rose Restoration has been haranguing me - who they have never met or engaged - instead of taking it up with the vendor who contracted them. Even though I did not know them and had no legal obligation to them, I tried to help them out by facilitating this issue with the GC and the vendor. If the basis for the dispute has been the change orders, why can't they present it even after 6 months? Just leads me to believe that this is just an attempt to EXTORT. Avoid this business like the plague - if this is how they treat people with whom they do not have a work-order or contract, I can only imagine how they treat their direct customers. M ..0
