Fast forward 6 months (I never used the fireplace during the 6 months) and I was converting to gas logs. The gas fireplace company said I needed a chimney inspection and cleaning. I told them I had it 6 months ago - but I needed a new one. Fine. I used a different company to inspect the chimney and do some brick work. I saw the photos of the debris on the shelf and inside the chimney!! The other company removed Half of a 5 gallon bucket of debris. And they showed me a nail or screw one damper that was not secured during the first cleaning. So I am very disappointed - did JCS even do anything? Oh, and I paid double to JCS rather than the second company for the same services. TLDR: I do not recommend JCS

Mike, the lead carpenter, took the time to explain every phase of the project in detail, which my wife and I truly appreciated. Whitmer Decks removed our old deck and built a beautiful new 14x12 screened porch, along with a 10x10 deck and staircase. I'm no professional photographer, but the results speak for themselves--we are absolutely thrilled. We can't wait for warmer weather so we can fully enjoy our stunning new space.
