I HIGHLY recommend this company and you will not go wrong if you hire them. Jose, the owner, and his crew, are polite, excellent craftsman, have incredible attention to detail, but beyond that, Jose communicates and speaks with you along the way. This blend of communication, craftsmanship, and hard work elevates this company beyond any other I have worked with. These intangibles were invaluable for us. Jose told us each day when he would be onsite, if he was running late, and what the timing would be as far as deliveries, removal of trash, and costs. Jose also brought up any issues or obstacles he came across during the remodel process. After we started our project, Jose was also able to include a bathroom vanity, mirror, and light installation. Jose not only had great suggestions, but was open to our suggestions as well. Jose also returned several items on our behalf to Home Depot. What service! LOVE, LOVE working with J.A.K.E. Prestige Renovations. What a STELLAR company!

Moris Govall and his terrific crew removed all the vinyl planking and quarter round, placed ditra and then tile, and did a perfect grouting job. The laundry floor slopes toward the drain, and their work there is excellent! I appreciate not only the professional tilework, but the sweet and thoughtful nature of the Govall Remodeling work team members. The bathroom they used was spotless, the outdoor area they worked in was swept immaculately clean, they disposed properly of all removed materials, and one gentleman even coiled my hose after I was the one who last used it! I highly recommend Moris and Govall Remodeling LLC for tile work!

Maybe he's done work that's decent, but this is our experience and seeing that there's so many contractors out there. I would just use caution. Making things look pretty is one thing, but I think I can speak for a lot of people that making sure it's quality work and most importantly done properly

All showcase quality IMO. Thus, we've plenty of recent experience with KBS outfit and feel confident in making the highest recommendation. In summary - KBS is not too big nor too small, not too expensive but not cheap, so they were just right for us - average homeowners who seek the very best value. In this regard, KBS was just right. Some highlights........ 1) The crew is experienced and cohesive. They've been together for a good long time. They work well together and we never observed inefficiency. They just work hard all day long. 2) I never had to worry about workers in our home. Honest, polite, professional, kind, and responsive are words I'd use to describe them. 3) Communications were timely and valuable. My advice is to take notes of every communication for reference. In one case we forgot it was our responsibility to acquire an appliance. Uh oh, it was our fault and a written record would have been useful to refer to. Yikes! 4) The budget estimates were honored. there was no bait and switch. Prices were transparent to us. 5) We enjoyed reviewing recommended selections of cabinets, floor, hardware, appliances, sinks etc. Today, we feel somewhat knowledgeable with KBS as our tutors. 6) Cleanup and construction debris was timely. Thanks! 7) The crew was OK with our two dogs. I think our doggies missed them when the jobs were done. Final note: The sign of a great contractor is NOT that nothing goes wrong. Rather it is how the contractor responds when something does go wrong. In this regard, KBS took care of problems I was not even aware of, and when I was, they swarmed to make it right ASAP. For example, a quartz kitchen countertop cracked. Surprised. The piece was faulty. The crack was not due to poor installation. We only had to make one call to Dan who took care of it. Easy peasy. No hassles or haggles about responsibility or cost. Perfect. I've a few more impressive examples. So the more work we observed, the more confident we became in KBS. In my life "trust" is earned and hard to achieve in the contracting world. So, it is with pleasure to say KBS was trusted. We'd hire them again whenever we have a future need. Simply excellent!

Having had less-than-great experiences with contractors in the past, we were especially appreciative that FGS proved to be a true exception. Every aspect of the job was handled professionally and with careful attention to detail. Fredy, our initial contact, listened thoughtfully to our needs, developed a clear plan of action, and guided us through decisions as unexpected issues arose. Tammy, in the office, served as our main point of contact and patiently answered our many questions before, during, and after the project. She truly "held our hand" throughout the process in a friendly, reassuring way. A special shout-out goes to Luis, who did the actual work. There seemed to be nothing he couldn't do, and everything he touched--from plumbing and tile to drywall repair and electrical--was completed with exceptional craftsmanship. He also offered practical, experience-based suggestions along the way. We genuinely enjoyed working with him each day and were consistently impressed by his perfectionism, skill, knowledge, and commitment to getting things right. Scott, the owner, is an ex-Marine, and after receiving several personal recommendations from friends who had used him for much bigger projects, we felt confident in our decision. The estimators and project managers were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. One thing that really set Abode apart was the itemized breakdown of costs, unlike other contractors who gave flat quotes with no explanation. They weren't the most expensive option we looked at, but they also weren't the cheapest. We felt that, based on the quality of work and the transparency in their pricing, their pricing was fair and reasonable. We received cheaper quotes, but they lacked the detail and professionalism that Abode provided. In the end, we felt we got excellent value for what we paid. The house was built in the '80s, and the bathroom had never been updated, so we knew we might run into some surprises. But Scott and his team were great at walking us through the entire renovation, keeping everything clear and transparent from start to finish. I was able to manage the project from a distance while they worked closely with my parents, ensuring everything was just right. They installed features like grab bars and a curbless shower to make the space safe and accessible, all while maintaining a stylish and modern look. In the end, the bathroom is not only safe and functional, but it's also beautiful. My parents--who are in their 80s--are thrilled with the transformation, and the updates will allow them to stay in their home longer. I'm so grateful we found Abode through friends, and I can't recommend Scott and his team highly enough if you're looking for a reliable, top-notch contractor!
