Then there was her antique furniture that had great sentimental value. She was very emotional and was completely overwhelmed. I checked Yelp for a Moving company in Syracuse and ran across First Class Moving and Removal, as we not only needed her belongings moved to a storage unit, but needed all the junk-type stuff taken to the dump. I saw a picture of Shaun and his crew next to a meticulously blanket-covered and wrapped piece of furniture and immediately felt this was a company that truly CARED about people's things and was willing to demonstrate that instead of just making idle boasts. I spoke with Shaun on the phone (I was orchestrating this whole thing from California) and found him to be professional, courteous, and understanding of the need for a kind and helpful approach to this very emotionally charged situation. My sister is elderly and since I couldn't be there in person to oversee the packing and move, I had to rely on trusting my gut from not much more than a few phone calls and texts to get this started. Long story short, Shaun and his crewmember did a FANTASTIC job on all levels. The furniture was completely blanketed and wrapped, the items that were not quite packed were taken care of, and ALL the junk went quickly to the dump. They took pics of the whole process, the packed truck, and the filled storage unit, keeping me updated all along the way. My sister felt safe, supported, and acknowledged. The price was exceptional for what they had to do. They moved quickly to keep the time down and didn't even take a break until it was all done. THIS IS AN EXCEPTIONAL YOUND BUSINESS and I would recommend them to anyone. This level of professionalism, integrity, and above all, caring is beyond rare. This young man and his company will go far. I also wasn't sure of my delivery date so they had an option to hold my relocubes in storage that worked perfectly for me. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone going through a long-distance move. Almost everything in my one bedroom apartment fit into one cube, but I ended up using a cube and a quarter due to some larger furniture items.

They also called me the morning of my move to let me know the team would be late, though it was within a reasonable time frame. Once on site they assessed what they had to move and then kept one person at the truck to direct the loading while the rest of the team got to work. I lived on a third floor walk up with weird corners and had some heavy furniture to move, such as a pull out bed couch. They handled what I had thought were hard or heavy things with ease. Talking to the team I learned one of the guys had been a mover for 40 years! Talk about experienced! They were used to moving multi-room large houses with much heavier items. The load out was the longest part of my move and load in went fast. Price-wise compared to other companies I looked at they were among the most reasonable. They base their estimates off of time and the final move cost was true to my quote.

They were subcontracted to us and we were told by the company that subcontracted them that we would have to discuss a refund with We Get it Done, when we called the first time we were told by the owner that we had to call the company that hired them. Both companies are blaming the other and no one is keeping up the 100% satisfaction guarantee that is shown on the paperwork that was sent to us. This company is very unprofessional, rude and not at all concerned with the customer.

Sorry about that." Not acceptable. Finally, be prepared for Ralph's wife, who mans the office, to sear the skin off your face with her rudeness. Bottom line: shop around and get an iron-clad commitment from the mover to stay within a clearly delineated price range.

Kudos to a careful and conscientious moving service. Great respect shown for all of my items and care taken not to damage them. Movers showed up promptly at the pre-arranged time, and leading up to the move, there were several communications to guarantee time of the meeting and the plan. Upfront communication of pricing, expected services to be provided. Nate was always immediately available by either text or phone. I plan on using this company again when I move away from the Syracuse area as part of a planned move in 2018. While I did see other moving companies online with competitive rates, the difference in price was small and the service rendered by this company would be hard to beat. The crew that showed up on move-in day were about twenty minutes early, after checking in with me via phone and text. Everyone was helpful and courteous. The price for unloading into my new home was great, especially given the stairs involved. And they just left the girls waiting for them at 10am, boxes packed and ready to go at the agreed upon date and time. The girls had to move out of their dorms into a storage unit and get on flights home as it was the end of the semester. We paid a 50% deposit and created/executed a contract. The day before the move I called Jorge and he said that he had poor reception and he would call me back. To this day, I have never heard from him or anyone from this company. We had to scramble to find another company! It was awful and very expensive to remedy. Even now, we are still extremely upset and at the very least we would like our money back! An explanation or an apology would also be appreciated.
