I am so happy to have this place nearby. We had first rented a giant steam cleaner from them, years…read moreago, to clean our carpets. And then we got stuck in another days-long power outage thanks to the heavy snow and trees. By day two, I was fed up but figured it'd be hard to find anyone with a generator in stock. Then I remembered this place. When I called, the guy first told me about a pretty big generator but we didn't think it would fit in my car. (My husband thought it would, but he was still at work so I thought "I'll just put all the seats down, take everything out and try because I CANNOT TAKE ANOTHER DAY WITHOUT ELECTRICITY. Now, here's why I love them: when I got there, the two guys up front (I wish I had their names, one is either the manager or the owner) said it probably wouldn't fit. I grew up fixing cars and doing home repairs but men are often SO condescending to me about all this stuff. The guys at R&R were really friendly and they didn't treat me like an idiot. They both said it probably wouldn't fit but let's go take a look at the trunk anyway. We looked and nope, no dice. They did, however have smaller generators which was totally fine. Signed the paperwork, they brought the gen out, quickly showed me how to turn it on without laboring over the process, put it in the car, and off I went. It's a little thing (but also a big thing) and I just really really appreciate being treated like a competent human being when it comes to tools and mechanical things. Aside from that, they've got so many things that you need occasionally but don't necessarily want to buy. Or, in our case, it's nice to try this generator out before we decide to invest in one. And did I mention they're really really nice?

I rented a Billy Goat field mower to aid in clearing the lower acre of our property. Phone service was prompt and polite without any holds. My equipment was ready when I went to go get it. They honored my Groupon without batting an eye. They showed me how to use the machine. They loaded it in my truck. They didn't give me any weird energy about my being female. All the equipment on the lot looked clean and basically brand new. And they had better rates than the other places I looked at. I will definitely be back! Unfortunately I might have to rent ACTUAL goats instead of the Billy Goat to truly eat through the blackberries and morning glory.

Hard to be always attentive with that kind of stress. With my latest tractor purchase I was mightily impressed with the staff going thru hoops for me to have the best service! The two guys that do deliveries of the equipment are so attentive and helping in all kinds of ways for a smooth, optimal experience. Zack made sure my own implements were made compatible with the new quick hitch. That was a HUGE help to me and he was under no obligation to do so. So I highly recommend them and don't be put off by a busy atmosphere. They will make things right for you, given the chance! Shout out to Patricia for a smooth purchase process! Thanks All!
