Guy named Sam came to my house for a chimney care estimate and air duct cleaning. Lied to me about…read moremy chimney having emergent issues and rushed me to pay him $3000 for repairs, and additional $1000 for air duct cleaning (an estimation based on the price of $69 per vent), and lied about me needing to pay $15,000 later if not having him repair it immediately. Multiple inspections show that my chimney only needs a cap, a deep wash, and a replacement of flashing. For air duct clean, he appears to know nothing about it and gave this ridiculous price of $1000. I regret paying $200 to have him vacuum from my air inlet for less than 5 minutes using a tiny machine. Dishonest and unprofessional.
