While on the table, she guided my intentions for the session and had me focus and imagine negative things floating away. I was able to let go of some very heavy things I'd been holding on to and came out of the session feeling so much lighter and more at peace. My second experience was with Cassidy for a 90 minute massage. I told her I'd booked it because I'd seen it was recommended after the reiki session and as a reiki master she explained the link and went into more depth with the connection between the two. She is extremely knowledgeable and explained things about my body that had been affected by my mental state of mind. She intuitively knew after working on me for a few minutes that cupping would be needed to increase the blood flow and asked if she could do that. Just surrender to her and let her work her magic! She also used the singing bowls at the end of my session. Overall, I went into these appointments wanting to just relax, grasping at straws to get negative energy out of me because what I was doing wasn't working. I left feeling so calm and happy and because of their consultations with so much information on how to move forward incorporating the principals of and understanding of how to keep that peace at home, make safe spaces for myself, and prioritize time for myself to prevent me from getting to the place I had been when I entered their door. Most times you just lay there in silence and while I do like sometimes to just relax and fall asleep, I really appreciated the skin care education and I was still able to relax as well. But I feel like I have a better idea of what my skin needs and how I can achieve it. The only reason I'm rating this 4.5/5 stars is because I normally like some lip care during my facials and this was lacking that. I really liked the essential oil toner she used and ended up purchasing it afterwards. The scent is heavenly and made my skin feel great. It was easy to book an appt on their website and I was sent a reminder and also given friendly service when I called in with questions about my appt. I was greeted warmly upon entering, and the whole appt went smoothly with Ruby. I was there for a Brazilian and was almost 9 months pregnant, so pleasant isn't probably the word to describe things, but Ruby did a great job. The place is super cute and the rooms are nice and cozy, clean and calming. They don't feel sterile and cold but you can tell they're taking all the right sanitary measures. I will definitely revisit for that and other services once they reopen!
