Steve is usually the person I work with, and he has always been fantastic to deal with. The team is incredibly transparent throughout the entire process and takes the time to show videos and pictures of anything they recommend for your vehicle. What I appreciate most is that they never use pressure or scare tactics to push unnecessary repairs. They're honest, straightforward, and truly treat you like family instead of just another customer walking through the door. It's hard to find an auto shop you can fully trust these days, but Christian Brothers has absolutely earned ours.

What stood out as much as the technical work: he flagged a slow coolant leak and a minor oil leak -- this is an older car, so neither was a shock -- but there was no pressure to pile on services. He showed me rough estimates so I'd have them when I'm ready and left the decisions to me. That kind of straightforward, no-upsell approach is rarer than it should be. The waiting area is a genuine plus: free wifi, a table big enough to work at, and a small fridge with complimentary drinks, large TV. My one suggestion would be to add a coffee in the AM. Carroll's was recommended to me by an acquaintance who used to be a mechanic in a different area, and knew that Carroll's had a good reputation. I was able to easily schedule an appointment online for the following week. In the reservation I was able to type out exactly what I thought my auto problem was and how I would like it addressed. I received an email confirmation from the office with a personalized acknowledgement of my reservation. I had a question prior to my appointment which was politely answered by _____ at the front desk. The office had plastic guards up at the check in desks as well as social distancing markers on the floor. Dennis checked me in and confirmed what work and inspections were to be done on the car, and let me know that I would be contacted after it was inspected and how I would like to proceed. Only had to wait about 90 minutes later the inspection was done. I received an email notification including a link to Caroll's site which broke down what parts were suggested to be replaced, why the need to replace them, what those parts specifically do, and the severity of how strongly they were recommended to be replaced. I hadn't seen something like this before and it was very cool. Also very helpful to use for reference in the future. Shortly after Dennis at the front desk called me and broke down what was recommended to be fixed and at what price including labor. A very positive experience across the board. Thank you Carroll's.

I had brought my Toyota Rav 4 to Hendrick Toyota for maintenance and they…read moretold me I needed new front brakes (pads and shims) and would have to completely repair my rear brakes (new rotors, pads and shims). They quoted me $990 for the job. I wanted a second opinion so I called Firestone. Over the phone they quoted me $696.91. I brought my car in and when they looked at it, they discovered I didn't really need new rear brakes (6 mm of rubber left) and the rotors were just a bit rusty and could be re-surfaced. They told me to wait on the rears and do them later. I went ahead and had them replace the front brakes for just $180. It was such a relief to save all that money! Their service is excellent and I really appreciated their honesty. I highly recommend this Firestone location and will definitely be back when its time to replace my rear brakes.
