I sat in my car for a few minutes where at least 3 of the service technicians made eye contact with me, then I got out of my car clearly in a boot due to an injury and walked up to the service area where they continued to deliberately ignore me while I was trying to get their attention. Went to get my NC state inspection and I never have issue before but they decided to find a thing for me to fail and charged us on the spot to fixed or we fail completely. It funny because we were warned by our friend as waiting that they always find something wrong as that's how they make their money. Terrible experience, straight up scammers and would do it to your face! Thoroughly disappointed in this company and this location, I even had a peer who told me not to go, but I decided to go anyways I'm and I wish I listen to them. All I needed to do was get my NC State inspection, I always take really well care of my car, and I even do an extra check to make sure that all of my general things are in working order before I go. I went in, took them almost 3 hours just to see my car, and then they said that they would fail because of something I had never heard of before. I don't have the time to go bounce around to different locations just to get my ENC state inspection, they charged me a ridiculous amount just to get a very small thing fixed, but I find it hard to believe that it was ever broken in the first place. Plus, when you look at what they said, it doesn't even align with what that final report says that's required for NC State inspection report. I didn't believe my friend when I should have, they scammed him and they scammed me, do not recommend going to them. read more

Booked an appointment for a tire change on a tire that they produce. They sent me a dozen texts reminding me of the appointment and when I get in they don't have the tires. Nobody has the tires and they act like they've never heard of them before even though they were heavily reviewed on their website, and were produced by Firestone. I had a very good experience with the Apex Firestone store this past weekend. I live in Florida and drove up to the Raleigh area last Friday for a wedding. On the way up, I noticed that my car began driving unevenly and there was a "thumping" as it drove. When I arrived on Friday afternoon, I called the Apex Firestone store, explained my problem and made an appointment for Saturday at 9AM. The store took my car promptly at 9AM. Brianna welcomed me. I left the car with the store (my brother provided transportation). Brianna knew I was going to a wedding at 2PM. Brianna called me about 11AM to say that the problem was with the front, driver-side tire. It was bulging and coming apart. Because my car has four wheel drive, they had to replace all four tires. That was expensive but necessary. I authorized the work and Brianna said that the car would be ready for pickup between 3PM and 4PM (after the wedding ceremony was over). As promised, the car was ready when I got there and they preserved the damaged tire so that I could show it to the store in Florida where I bought it and possibly get a refund or credit. I was very pleased with my experience at the Apex Firestone store and cannot compliment Brianna enough for the way that she handled my emergency! Many thanks to the Apex Firestone team! read more

Set up appointment online for an oil change and inspection at 5:00 pm. I arrive to my appointment to have the services I requested completed. I waited for 20 minutes to even be acknowledged. When they finally asked what I needed, he tells me the person that does inspections there was gone. I set the appointment up on their website, the services I requested were open for an appointment at that time. He gave the weak excuse that the website scheduling and their system is not always correct. I have been coming here for the last six years. I went in for an oil change and asked them to take a look at my brakes because they were ready to be replaced. I was told I needed all 4 calipers, routers and pads replaced as well as new brake lines. I quickly called the garage I usually go to and he kindly let me know I needed only one caliper, rotor and pads replaced on front brakes. Firestone asked me if I was interested in selling my 4 Runner as it is not worth investing the work. I will not be going here again. read more

These guys are great! I had brought my Toyota Rav 4 to Hendrick Toyota for maintenance and they told me I needed new front brakes (pads and shims) and would have to completely repair my rear brakes (new rotors, pads and shims). They quoted me $990 for the job. I wanted a second opinion so I called Firestone. Over the phone they quoted me $696.91. I brought my car in and when they looked at it, they discovered I didn't really need new rear brakes (6 mm of rubber left) and the rotors were just a bit rusty and could be re-surfaced. They told me to wait on the rears and do them later. I went ahead and had them replace the front brakes for just $180. It was such a relief to save all that money! Their service is excellent and I really appreciated their honesty. I highly recommend this Firestone location and will definitely be back when its time to replace my rear brakes. read more

This place is amazing!! Every time I come here, they are so honest and actually try to save me money. It is so easy to schedule an online appointment and I get confirmation emails. They are very good about calling me when my car is complete and they do it in a very good time frame. They even squeezed me in for an oil change and tire rotation before a long trip. Based on today's economy, and the unbelievable price gauging that we are all seeing, I am begging of you to spend your money elsewhere. This place has wasted so much of my time and money. I went there for a repair last week. I will spare you the details, but the repair was over a $1,000. I was also provided a copy of the diagnostic to see exactly what parts needed to be repaired. No questions asked, although I did briefly watch the mechanic work on my car, and he did look reckless. The day after the repair, I had severe problems with my car, and even had problems steering my car. I brought it back in immediately, because it didn't feel safe on the road. They explained to me that something different was broken, but that it had to have been a manufacturing issue on that part. There was no way that another part could have been broken due to a manufacturing issue the day after I watched the mechanic recklessly work on my car. Anyway, that part was fixed. The very next day, I had the same problem again, trying to steer my car. This was where things got really bad. I brought my car back in for the third time. The mechanic knew that I had complained about him immensely. He came out of the garage (looking angry) and took my keys before I even reached the desk. He was walking out of the door with my keys, and then turned around and said, "why don't you get in the car so I can see exactly what's going on?" I got in the passenger seat, and said that my car was making noises when trying to steer. He practically started doing wheelies in my car, right in front of the shop, and kept mockingly saying "what about now. How about now?" He was trying to make me panic. Then he proceeded to tell me that I was wasting his time, and he had been doing this for 10 years. He also said that he didn't want to do extra work on my car because he wasn't getting paid to work on my car. He also said that the other mechanics wouldn't want to do extra work on my car, because they were not getting paid for it. He was yelling at me in my own car, out in front of the shop. He was trying to intimidate me, and I should have just called the police. I explained that he broke extra parts and that they needed to be fixed. Then he yelled, and said that he did actually break my "left line" when he was doing the first repair, but he fixed it(during the repair)because he cared (all without ever telling me). He said that the right line might be broken too, but he didn't know. He kept saying how I was just wasting his time. I told him that the way he was talking to me, and the things he was yelling at me were out of line, and he had no right to act like that in my own car. My stance is that he just wanted me to be scared, and go away so he wouldn't have to deal with me any longer. It didn't work, This mechanic's name, I think, is Buckey, and I know he is one of the only ASE techs at this facility. Firestone, do better. Do you support having your employees treat your customers like that? Especially men treating women customers (in private) like that? That is disgusting. Who knows how many women he tried to intimidate like that before, to try to get out of doing his job. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

The staff here was very nice, they are very upfront with waiting time. It's up to you if you want to wait or not. They update you every now and thn if they feel like they are taking too long. It's nice knowing that they are just friendly and you can feel free to ask questions or concerns and they will help you! Be careful of these guys as they are not up front on the parts they use. Had brakes done with new rotors, $850. After a week the entire rotor began to rust. Took the car back to talk with them about this. They acknowledged the use of cheap aftermarket parts which will completely rust. Problem is that I was never given the option for which kind of parts to use. Asked for the maanger to call me but they never followed back up and never called When I took the car to the dealer to see about having the rotors replaced they informed me that the same job with OEM rotors would not rust would cost me $825. Learned leason , use the dealer and stay away from these typs of shops. read more
