Guess I'll also do a review for this place since this is where I ultimately ended up…read moredining...though I decidedly entered Chef 21 Sushi Burger & KBBQ lol (the story explained in the review at Chef 21 Sushi Burger & KBBQ). The place is located adjacent to the main restaurant...and there's this long hallway that connects them. I will say that the decor was fun and impressive. Anyway, once led here, I ordered the Chef 21 Sushi Burger, and 2 Dim Sum items...Beef Short Rib and Chashu Bao Buns. Unfortunately, I could barely eat the short rib...SO fatty and greasy! Guess I was also expecting something closer to Korean Galbi...well, it was completely different in taste. The bao buns were a bit better, but definitely not one of the better ones I've had. Overall, I'd rate 5 stars for the Sushi Burger for its innovation and unique taste (though it did remind me of Crispy Tuna Rice sushi rolls)...but probably 2-3 stars for the Dim Sums. Also, despite the name, there really weren't much of a tea selection. Also, they only serve hot teas...no longer iced bubble teas (as you'll see in other Yelp pics), etc.etc. Frankly, I think they should drop the "Tea", but change their name to just Chef 21 KBBQ & Dim Sum. I think if I entered Chef 21 Tea Republic, I might have felt compelled to drop at least 3 stars...but again, I ended up here unwillingly.

Yum yum! This was my first time having mochi doughnuts and they were chewy and flavorful. My coffee was a little too sweet for me but I was obsessed with the bear! Im definitely keeping it. They have sales and special offers. Tuesdays $1 doughnuts. Overall I definitely will come back to try other drinks. Lucky for me it's not far from my work!

Unfortunately, both have lacked/been hit or miss for me. Specifically, their boba pearls are never the same consistency; some days they are perfect and chewy, and the other days they are too soft and mushy. I wanted Bober to be my go-to spot for reliably good boba drinks, however I don't like playing boba roulette and I've played these games before The drink flavors themselves are good, but I would ask to sample their boba for the day if you want to try.

Well, I stopped in here on my drive home from Greenville...and here's the deal. The place had this cute Easter motif (thinking they change things up throughout the year?). The selection of Mochi Donuts were a bit weak though...none of my favorites featured that day. Of course, places like this change their donut selection weekly...so I just happened to pick the wrong day. Anyway, I decided to try their Biscoff Mochi Donut. Since I had lunch prior to, I was barely able to down 1 donut....but I will say that this Biscoff Mochi Donut was amazing! I also love their Bubble Tea selection...especially since they feature one of my favorite flavors, Rose Milk Tea. Loved it! We visited Sole twice on our recent trip to Greenville and loved both the coffee and the service…read more On our second visit, when we were about to leave for an 8.5 hr drive home, we unfortunately arrived right after some folks who were trying to order at least *20 drinks* (I kid you not) for people but hadn't actually written down what they needed... which was not only painful to listen to but made us worry that we'd be there for an hour while that order got fulfilled. But, the owner remembered us from a couple days before (and that we were out-of-towners) and while someone else was helping them, got our order started for us so it was already ready and we just paid for it once the Pokey People were done putting in their order. So we were out in just a couple more minutes. Now THAT is excellent service. I particularly recommend the pistachio latte and nutella lattes, both delicious!

At the door is a wise saying, on a sign, by the proprietor, Giacomo , that we met. Translation: "Tout le monde veut gagner jusqu'à ce qu'ils se rendent compte du nombre de défaites qu'il faut." He told us that he also has live music on the patio, on occasion. The espresso and croissants were delicious. If we lived in the area I would make this a weekly stop. I am not surprised that every review is 5 stars. They are well deserved! Highly recommend and wish Giacomo much success.

So I've had this place on my Greenville list for a while. Decided to stop in for the new sweet corn…read moreespresso while in town for the 4th. I arrive and the line is to the door. So I'm thinking ok this place has to be good. It took about 20-25 mins to get to the register and order. I ordered the sweet corn shaken espresso with almond milk and a cinnamon roll so I could make sure to show support. It took 22 mins to get the drink which o tried to be understanding because it was busy and there was really only one person making drinks. Most efficient way? Maybe not but he was steadily working. I watched probably 20 drinks come up almost spilling over they were so full and delicious looking. Finally mine comes up and 1/4 of the cup is empty. Weather ice or almond milk at least fill the cup like the rest of the drinks. So whatever 45 mins I'm not asking for a remake or anything it's already hot inside and just standing there I'm sweating. I get in the car and think well they short changed the drink at least I got this thick cinnamon roll to make up for it. Well jokes on me again. The roll was very dense and dry. While it may have been made that morning it was dry as if it was a day or two old. I figured maybe it was just the outside that was dry but it was the same even in the center. The centers are always supposed to be the best part. Sadly I didn't get the experience everyone else seems to get. Over all pretty disappointing experience that I wish would have been better to give a better review for a local shop.
