Tried to charge $500 for a lock change a few months ago. Got it at another store for $100. These guys are greedy as heck! There's better places. read more

Just like other reviewers said, they will rip you off. Don't believe their initial quote. At the end, they will double the charge for you. They will add many hours of additional labors and parts cost you never know if it is truly broken. Their boss is rude too. Nobody else is doing business like this. If I can give zero star on Yelp review, I will give zero for sure. read more

Charged me $525 to drill my lock, rekey the lock, and labor. Robbery. Would never recommend these guys. read more

Mike went above and beyond helping me today. He problem solved an issue I had and took care of it immediately. I will always use his services in the future and hope you consider doing so, as well. read more

Rude and crass. Worst service. You can call ANYONE else for a better job. If I could give fewer than one star I would.

They came within 20 minutes. Over the phone Borak told me it would be $30 to come out and then $50 minimum. I had one lock on my apartment to unlock. The locksmith arrived and charged me $150. I called Borak as this seemed a little steep. Borak immediately remedied the situation. I got $70 back and ultimately only paid $80, which is a fair price for the quick turnaround. Thank you to Borak for your help. read more

We called R&B locksmith to fix two locks in our building. The locksmith came out fairly fast around 12 pm. We tried to get an estimate before the repair and was told he will need to bring the one of the locks back to his shop and will provide us an estimates. for the other locks, he said we need to replace the cylinder and that will be about $500 as it is a high security lock. Before he took the locks back to his shop, he gave us a rough estimates about $1000 + labor. We receive no phone call and when we tried to reach out to R&B locksmith and was told the locksmith is on his way. That was around 6 pm. The locksmith finally showed up around 6:30 pm and started install the locks. We were told the total cost was $2300. The previous reviewer is correct. R&B locksmith never disclosed the true costs. we were told the to replace the cylinder is about $500 then we were charged $300 to rekey plus other hidden costs that they never disclosed. The locksmith is also very rude and crass. They are ripping people off and they have no standard fees schedule. read more

Roni is the best, hardest working locksmith and very trustworthy. I called today at 3, he was here at 3:45pm and he was so good I kept adding more work for him and he was happy to stay longer to complete it. Reasonable prices for changing all the knobs and locks on my house. Big fan! read more

I have a prius and after finishing a hike and heading back to the car I realized I had lost my keys. When I was looking for a locksmith online I found R&B Locksmith and read their reviews I did not even think twice before calling them. Everything everyone said on their reviews are legit. These guys are amazing. They were super fast on responding to my request, very friendly and I felt very safe (always important if you are a woman alone out there). My car is a push to start button and they were able to get it going and program a new key for me on the spot. Would recommend them to anyone! Thank you R&B! read more

Tried to overcharge me when they saw a beautiful woman in a big house. Work was ok, communication horrible and zero awareness of social distancing. read more

Got me out of a jam TWICE now. Both times showed up FAST! And got in FASTER. First time had to install a new lock - got a quick education and fast service and the second time he was able to get me back on without drilling! Both times professional, friendly and full of good advice! You won't be sorry here! read more

Roni came and rescued us! He was so nice, punctual, professional, knowledgeable and thorough. We have been having the wrong people fix our security gates for years and when Roni came to our home, he knew exactly what to do. It was finally done properly! We highly recommend Roni to everyone. read more

I was visiting from out of town and got locked out of my van in Studio City. Roni was there within ten minutes, extremely professional and very good at his job... Unfortunately, the area I was in had very bad cell-service and I wasn't able to receive his multiple phone calls... however, Roni didn't blow me off or quit during my moment of need, he instead found the house's address and managed to yell out and grab my attention! Dedication! I enjoyed our conversation and I found Roni to be super likable, trustworthy, and kind. :-) read more

I locked my self out of my Malibu home when I was was evacuated. Called Anthony at R&B Locksmith. He drove from Sherman Oaks on back roads and through canyons to get to my house. The BEST locksmith! Roni was on time and made phenomenal service that I have never before obtained from any locksmith. The man is number one, arrived on time, and did the job without any problems. A1 SERVICE! Such a caring and nice person too. The price was also unbeatable compared to other locksmiths I called for. read more

The guy over the phone said the base fee was $55 plus $29.99 just for showing up. He said he'd call me back with a set price and a locksmith eta, which he never did. The locksmith showed up almost an hour later and said his boss said it would cost me $170!!!!! Not sure how they came up with that rate since they didn't ask me for any information about my car at all over the phone. I drive a mid-level older car, there is no reason it should've been $170. I was able to negotiate it down to $120 but I still left the situation feeling very taken advantage of. To top it off, they charge a 7% fee if you want to pay using your credit or debit card. The locksmith was very insistent that he follow me to an ATM and I pay cash. read more

Fantastic service. Sent a request for a quote to a few on Yelp and Roni from R&B was the first to reply. Within 45 minutes after speaking to him he was at my house and done with the job (3 locks) in 30 minutes. He was knowledgable, fast and charged a fair price. read more

I was waiting for a call back from another Locksmith. I took all sorts of photos and measurements and sent them to the other guy. I looked at Yelp again and saw this business right in my neighborhood. Ronny came out within 45 minutes and solved the problem with an adjustment. It cost me $75 and earlier I thought I would have to buy a brand new unit for $2-300. The other guy was so nice about it he said that he would give him a good review as well. read more

Quick, easy, prompt, Ronnie is a nice guy. Hope I don't need a locksmith again but if I do, I'd use them!

I messaged Roni on a Sunday and he was very quick to respond. I needed a master key cut for my car, which is no easy task (needs to be reprogrammed, the key must be cut from the lock, etc.). Roni knew all of the details and was able to do it right from the first time. He really knows what he's doing! read more

They gave me great service and ordered the part I needed when mine did not work. The price was very fair.

Roni is the only locksmith you need to call. He was fast, efficient, and beat the price of any other locksmith I called. I needed duplicates and was locked out. One call, and less than an hour later, Roni had me good as new. read more

Roni was great. Fast. Changed all the locks to my new home and taught me how my keypad lock works as well. (Changed the codes for free.) Would highly recommend! read more

Ronnie is a consummate professional - detail oriented and focused in top quality work with customer satisfaction. He installed a new front door system on an ild door. He was able to make the new system work with the old door and previous holes with precision and time. He also fixed other locks that had just been installed improperly and work not working and/or were not secure. Make sure you vet a locksmith before they come in and potentially destroy your doors - Ronnie was able to check someone else's dismal work and with his expertise and diligence, was able to save and restore mine! He will be my go to for all lock and door needs. read more

The gentleman who came was very nice and professional. He worked fast and professionally. I would definitely hire them again.
