I would give 5 stars but this place couldn't accommodate the last of the 3 packages I had to return using UPS. The reason this store couldn't send my package was because they do not have a "reader" to scan QR codes. I had to go across town (20 minutes away) to get to closest UPS store. The customer service was excellent. Both ladies we pleasant, helpful, and apologetic for the lack of a QR reader. I see an opportunity to benefit customers by supplying the QR reader for the store. Had to have my package delivered back to my apartment {at school} before the snow storm hit and they were so fast-acting in helping me and shipping my package! I was dire need of overnight shipping. My family is military and PCS'ing, and needed to Next Day ship documents to our next duty location to facilitate our pets move. I very explicitly explained to the clerk my situation, that I needed to get the documents delivered as soon as possible, and money was not an issue. I paid the Next Day delivery envelope fee of $86, which identically matched the quote FedEx online had provided in my research prior to walking in, and felt good about the transaction. I tracked the package the next day to check for delivery status, and it stated the package was due for delivery in 7 more days! When I called the store, the clerk literally stated, "Wow, that's weird...I don't know what happened, we can't do anything. I would call FedEx". I contacted FedEx proper and after several supervisors they were unsuccessful with any resolution as the package was 'in transit' via ground service already, but further suggested I recontact store at least to request a refund from the responsible party. I called the store back and the clerk, the same I dealt with in-store yesterday, told me she didn't think a refund was possible, that she was dealing with another customer and would have to call back. I asked for her supervisor's phone number to be texted to me. She agreed, then promptly failed to text the number. I called back and received supervisor's number at the Raeford location. Supervisor was pleasant and helpful in providing a refund, however, stated the clerk at the Pinehurst location stated I was "given shipping options" and chose for ground delivery envelope at $86 intentionally... which price-wise makes zero sense as the price I paid matches the exact online quote (just rechecked it to make sure I wasn't crazy myself), and is just an outright lie. We're all human, errors occur, mistakes happen...but ZERO accountability, ZERO integrity, ZERO competency, and ZERO responsibility (quite the antithesis even as clerk tried to turn the onus of the mistake back me via a phone conversation with her supervisor), and now I've achieved my refund, but I'm out my documents which are "in the cloud" until they arrive a (a week late which will incur a hefty penalty fee on my end). Based on my experience I will a) NEVER recommend or use Qwik Pack & Ship to so much as buy scotch tape, and b) REFRAIN from using FedEx unless absolutely necessary...guess I'm a UPS customer by proxy now. Absolute nightmare the took the better part of a day on "hold" between both Qwick Pack and FedEx proper, only to end up sans 5 hours of my day and as screwed as I was when we started. read more

Great place and very easy to ship. I had two items to return, one ups one fedex, I had the return labels for each,. If it was possible to give this establishment a zero-star rating...I would have done it. First of all, I walked into the building and it reeked of cigarette smoke. This day in age, you rarely walk into a bar that smells of cigarettes! The place was disorderly and I could not find any of the proper forms that I needed at this visit. I asked the man behind the counter for a Fed EX Ground form to fill out. I was on the phone with my mother at the time because I was sending the package for her, from a FedEx employee account. The man looked at me like I was a complete moron when I asked him a simple question regarding this matter. All I wanted to know was whether or not there would be a surcharge because the facility is not actually a FedEX store (it is a FedEx authorized shipper). He replied with, "It doesn't matter, it just goes on her account." This reponse obviously did not answer my question in a sufficient matter. I asked him the same question two more times in different ways. The man actually scoffed at me. He literally rolled his eyes at me and said, "Jesus!' I hung up with my mother and told the man that I would be holding off on this transaction at this time. He demanded, "WHY?" He was so incredibly rude. He could have said something like, "May I ask why?" In all honesty, the man could not have paid ME to send the package from this place. The reason I was leaving was because of his horrid attitude. I have been in customer service positions for many years and this is not how you treat a customer. Some people should NOT be in a customer service job. Anyway, I went to another FedEx shipper, called Goin' Postal in Spring Lake, The two ladies working that day were just that.....ladies. The woman, whom I assume is the owner of the store, was incredibly knowledgeable. She actually got on my cell phone with my mother for several minutes to answer all of her questions. Now that is excellent customer service! I am shocked that this Qwik Pack & Ship is still in business. I will never, ever go back to this establishment and I will tell everyone I know what a horrible experience I had there. read more
