DO NOT USE THEM, THEY STOLE OUR ELECTRONICS. Move was at the end of March 2026. Never appologied Literally caught the guy on film and never reimbursed us for the stolen items -value about $2K. Additionally they damaged distroyed many items and the icing on the cake was a 4 mile move took from 10 am to 2 am and my husband an I moved about 8 carloads of stuff during the day because their 4 man team was really 3 men and 1 guy going through boxes and stealling our property. Never responded to our claims so between the stolen items and damaged items and cost of move we are at a huge loss. What a nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could go on and on but will not. Our move with Miracle Movers was the most stressful and disappointing move I have ever had in my life. My husband used to be in the military, so we are no strangers to moving. We encountered late movers, insufficient care of our items, and constantly changing pricing. We were recommended them by our realtor. It started off as expected with Rob, a former driver for Miracle Movers, coming to our house to perform an estimate and we were quoted for $3,900 to pack and move our stuff to Virginia. We called a week before our move to confirm our move date with Rob and we were then quoted $6,600 without anything changing in our house or destination. In that same call, I confirmed that they would wrap all our furniture and disassemble pieces as needed. Rob said that that would be no problem and we trusted him that this would be the case. The day of the move, the movers showed up 2 hours late at 10AM and the packers were still packing because they didn't bring enough materials the previous day. Our furniture was sat on the driveway concrete and brought into the truck unwrapped. We reminded the team that everything was supposed to be wrapped (as stated in the brochure we received). Shaun told us he would wrap the items the truck and he did not do this - a majority of our furniture was not packed as promised as shown in the below pictures. The realtor for the couple that bought our house stopped by and she was even shocked that furniture was going in unwrapped. They also only brought 2 mattress covers despite them knowing we had a 4 bedroom house and didn't box up our TVs. The team didn't even use their own blankets - they used ours and told us that it would have been extra if we wanted them use their blankets (not mentioned in the initial consultation)! Shaun called his manager Derek to bring another truck as they needed more space. Once Derek arrived, I let him know my thoughts and he was very dismissive. He did a walkthrough of the house with my granddaughter and kept walking away before she had the opportunity to tell him the items that still needed to be taken out. My husband and granddaughter ended up helping move stuff because it was taking so long and was getting dark. My granddaughter even had to show the team how to wrap our glass table in our blankets so it wouldn't be scratched or broken. They didn't leave until after 8PM and they still left things behind. We had previously booked a hotel room in Virginia, but were unable to drive up since we were so exhausted and frustrated so we had to book another hotel to stay the night. On our drive up the next day to meet the movers and unpack, Derek told us that the final total was nearly $12,000 and laughed at our frustration! My husband and I felt extremely deceived as our quote changed had 3 times: $3,900, $6,600, to finally $11,885. We also weren't told until the day they were delivering our items that they would only take a cashiers check or credit card. Upon unpacking, we saw that only 1 item was packed as we had expected based on our conversation with Rob. A few items were plastic wrapped, but the majority were not. The trucks were packed extremely disorganized and it looked like our things were put in haphazardly. We even saw someone literally throw a box into the storage unit. We haven't unpacked yet, but we are concerned that our items may be damaged. Management needs to provide better communication, more accurate pricing, and more training to the crew. This was absolutely not worth the $12k we spent and we have told our realtor about this experience as well. We would we appreciate a follow up to this because we are very disappointed. read more

Review is for Miracle Movers of the Sandhills in NC. The first time I used them one year ago it was amazing and we couldn't have been more pleased, but WOW what a difference a year can make because this recent move was far from WONDERFUL! So much damage to my furniture. Lack of professionalism, lack of care for our personal possessions. Arrived close to noon for a 4 bedroom home that should have started at 9am. Sending only 2 men. Wrapping furniture in plastic wrap versus moving blankets. Sliding the furniture down 2nd floor stairs vs carrying it. Dragging aluminum outdoor furniture across concrete. Marring walls and doors in our new home. I could go on and on and on! All I can say is RUN don't walk away from using this moving company. Read all the other 1 star reviews and take heed! Yes, they gave me a credit because they didn't want to deal with an insurance claim. If you do use them PAY for the extra insurance. Not that I'm convinced it would pay out for the damages. The ONLY positive is Derek the scheduler is a great guy but the movers give 2 poops about your possessions or the quality of their work. read more

Miserable Movers is a more accurate name. Broke nearly all my antiques, "lost" a 65" tv, accused me of doing the damage, ran and hid when I pursued remedy. I would think twice before hiring this company. My estimate was half of what they charged, told me they would turn around and take my items back to their warehouse after I questioned the estimate vs. the actual cost. Many items were damaged due to not covering them properly while packing. Very disappointed. read more

We had 2 wonderful experiences with Miracle Movers. We had 2 pick ups going to 2 different locations. Both moves went smoothly. The first trip was from our home in NC to our daughter in TN. Pick up and drop off went great, they guys were friendly, courteous, and very responsible. The second trip was from NC to NJ. Again our movers were great! We had Anthony and Jackie. They helped everything to go quick and smooth while moving out and moving back in. I highly recommend this company. Thanks for taking great care of our stuff! read more

I am giving these movers one star because zero stars was not an option. I agree with the previous reviewers, Our move consisted of picking up our possessions at our house and a storage facility, and the next day, dropping some at another storage facility and at our new house. The crew was unprofessional and, in our opinion, incompetent. The crew was very late both days, and left before the move was completed. A valuable lamp went missing, many of our possessions were damaged out of carelessness, and many of our possessions were soiled, including a mattress. The company had to send another crew two days later to complete the original move. If you care about your things and getting good value for your money DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS. I am supplying some photos...we have more. Update: The owner of company called on Friday to tell me that they had located the lamp and it was delivered on Saturday. He assured me that he would pay for any repairs to the damaged possessions and would pay to place those that couldn't be repaired. Stay tuned..... Do NOT use this moving company, especially if you are MILITARY. WOULD NOT COMPENSATE FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE EVEN WITH REQUIRED BASIC INSURANCE. I hate to destroy someone's business, but I gave this owner (Donnie) multiple opportunities to correct the wrong and he refused. I don't believe he is insured not even by basic insurance, he fought me over a petty amount of money ($400) that I requested for compensation on damages. Damages that he knew he incurred but tried to take short cuts to remedy. A. VANITY - destroyed and he tried to repair with white plaster (see photo) B. DRYER - which was dropped (I saw and heard when worker dropped it) and I called them out on it when it occurred. C. WASHER - damaged which was not properly secured for a move, and instead of just compensating with required basic insurance AT (.60/ lb) he tried to fix it but kept coming up with excuses on getting a repair man in my house. He wanted me to find somebody for him. I told owner just comp me a small fraction of the price of the washer and dryer (1/3) and than he began to claim his workers did not drop it. In the end this company can not be trusted and even tried to take my dispute to my boss as if this was suppose to scare me. This owner is a bully and preys on individuals to bully them into taking less insurance on a move in order to not pay damages. I'm sure he would bully jr Soldiers with his tactics and proabley has so as not to pay. I'm convinced he has no insurance least he would have paid a measly $400 for compensation on 3 damaged items. Worst experience of my life! We've moved around quite a lot in our lives. They have always been corporate moves. Of course, they were with large van lines. We use to joke that it was licensed thievery. So, this one being on us we decided to spend twice as much and go with Miracle movers. We were the only ones on the truck. Shouldn't that be better. Well, the answer to that is "NO!" From day one, it was a disaster. The day they were to come and pack the rest of our house, they didn't show. By noon my husband called only to find out that the person in charge wrote down the wrong day. He showed up, with his girl friend, and packed for a few hours. We expected him to return the following day. Unfortunately, he didn't. They had one of the movers finishing the rest of the packing. None of the boxes were marked with what was inside. Total catastrophe. Idiots would ask where things went only to hear, "how do we know!" I immediately realized that some of my canned foods was missing. No big deal. Maybe someone needed it more. However, when it was time to decorate for Christmas(passed the time to make a claim.) that's when I went totally berserk. I live for Christmas. Well, at least half of my decorations were missing. Thousands of dollars worth...many were gifts, many inherited, all unreplaceable. Please run as fast as you can from this franchise. read more

If you have to move and you have to put your things in their storage care, be prepared to lose at least $500(+) worth of your belongings. I moved 90 miles, had my stuff in their storage, when delivered, didn't have several boxes of kitchen ware, garage items, and even a boutique cafe set. It took 5 phone calls to even get to talk to someone who could attempt to rectify this. I am retired Army, move all over the world, but this by far was the worst move in my life. We are not novice movers, we have moved back and forth across country and also locally on the east coast. Miracle Movers was THE WORST EXPERIENCE we ever had. When scheduled, they did not even come to inspect the amount we had. We had recently moved here from New Mexico and did not unpack over 50% of our things, as we did not buy the right house here. Once we found a home, only about a 4 mile move. I told the agent we need some packing done in the kitchen and baths. For our 2100 sq ft home, they sent three guys, no one to pack. They were over an hour late the morning of the move (TRUCK BROKE DOWN) and brought a smaller truck. They asked every five minutes..."Is all this stuff going?"...what did they think. We fed them breakfast and lunch and had beverages all day. They were ok, but they we UNDERSTAFFED for this move. After they "completed" the move, there was still many, many, many items in the house and they said they did not have enough room on the truck and the "boss" would charge for another truck. We had to make about 20 trips to empty the home for the cleaner and the new owner. Now, once we started unpacking there were many, many items smashed, luckily nothing critical or high value. One of the last things brought in was an MCM cabinet with a glass front, the one panel of glass was SMASHED and they sent an auto-glass guy to fix it. It took about four weeks and it still is not right, but I doubt Miracle Movers could get it right. The Manager I spoke with was rude and condescending. Moving is difficult enough, but when you pick a company like this...what a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! read more
