We arrived at opening and were their first few customers for the day. My cousins have been here before and love their extensive selection of stouts. I went with a flight to get a feel of their menu - stand outs for me were the viejo and son of nectron. There was ample seating inside and out. They offer a different food option each day. There was a pizza truck when we went, but by the time they set up it was time for us to head to our next stop.

Their Barrel Room is very spacious- they hold all sorts of events here. From what I gather, their bottle share events are once a quarter. So fun!

The breakfast burritos are STILL being served! And if you're a fan of the OC Wine Mart burritos, this is definitely worth knowing. New name, new ownership, but thankfully one of the best things about the place remains! Stop by and check out Meritage Wine Mart -- and grab a breakfast burrito while you're there.

I ordered their spicy chipotle chicken sandwich which was BOMB! The bread was incredibly fresh, the chicken was cooked well, and the ingredients were all fresh and well balanced. I purchased a $20 card and proceeded to sample a handful of wines, mostly their whites, which were pretty good! You pick the wine you want, insert your card, and voila -- there's fresh wine poured and ready to hit your tastebuds. It's a cool vibe inside that encourages you to sit and stay a while, with plenty of seating inside and out. Great service and reasonable prices. Will definitely be back here and encourage you go check them out if you're in need of some booze, a nice sammy, or both!

I will definitely be back soon!!!

One of the beers we got is the Tropical Hideaway, which really reminds me of the pineapple Dole whip at Disneyland. It's a smoothie-style beer with lots of tropical flavor. Tons of tables outside to hang out, and when we went there was a food truck with great smash burgers outside. And the bartenders are super knowledgeable about the beer -- we got some great recs. Lastly, they sell canned beer to take home. I got the She Shot First IPA (which has a very Rosie the Riveter meets Star Wars vibe), and it was phenomenal. Definitely a great place to spend a Friday night!

Their staff are also really nice which doesn't surprise me Considering the wonderful people they work for. Service is always expedient as they have two cash registers (which is mostly both open during the weekends) even so with one, Remi, Stella or their staff can ring you up quite expediently. The place is like your neighborhood convenience store and mini-mart, it has all the basic necessities you need if you ran out of dish washing liquid or those nauseatingly smelly fabric softeners or laundry detergents- the shop is always clean and bright with shelves always stacked with goodies and snacks. I highly recommend visiting this place if you happen to be in town or recently move here - they seriously have the coldest beer in town! Cheers!

The bartender was eating food at the bar while we were there, and after getting our initial drinks, we were essentially left on our own. The service was inattentive, the atmosphere felt unprofessional, and the overall experience left a very bad impression. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

They also offer a discount if you buy three or more bottles. Before Covid, I came here for many years for their weekly wine tastings. For a mere $5 to $10, they would always offer up a great selection of wines to taste. Unfortunately, they haven't had any wine tastings since Covid, but almost everything I know about wine I owe to Vendome and their many years of great tastings.
