I've had most of their kinds of cookies and brownies and everything is a hit and you can tell it's made with love and care. And the prices are reasonable and the booths accept venmo which is cool! Most recently I grabbed a turtle brownie which was rich and decadent but not overly sweet to the point of only being able to eat a bite or two. Great texture. You can also find their goodies at places like Horrocks and Bridge Street Market.

Daddy's Dough Cookies were featured in the Friends of Grand Rapids Parks' Green Gala picnic basket…read morethis year, and I'm so excited about them! I'm not a huge sweets person, but I like a good soft cookie. No crispy cookies for me - and Daddy's Dough Cookies totally delivered. The cookies we had in the picnic basket were lemon cream pie which consist of two delightfully chewy and soft lemon cookies with lemon buttercream frosting sandwiched inside. The lemon flavor was so bright and summery, and the sweetness level was just right - not too sweet. My boyfriend and I both commented about how good they were, and I immediately looked to see where I could get more. Luckily enough they sell these goodies at Bridge Street Market, Fresh Thyme, and Horrocks here locally. They also sell them online so I bought two of EVERY FLAVOR. Then we happened to find them at one of the last days of the Urban City Cafe and got the birthday cake flavor. Guess what, amazingly good. The cookies are so interesting, they seem like they are an oatmeal type cookie somehow and the texture is just so, so good. I hope they can continue to grow and get into other stores locally. We certainly have been talking them up! If you like a good soft sandwich cookie situation, definitely check out Daddy's Dough. They also have non-sandwich cookie options, cookie making kits, and vegan options online.

As soon as you walk in, you know this humble shop is a family owned enterprise! There's always at least one of the owners' children helping out and the very friendly Robinsons are happy to see you and give you some samples. They've been here a few months and if you ask me, the key to their success so far is that delicious popcorn!!! Our favorite is "charamel" which is a caramel cheese mix with both flavors on 1 kernel- like a caramelized cheese corn!! Sounds weird at first but it's addictive! They of course have other flavors and appear to roll out new concoctions from time to time. Just tried their jala-ring charamel, which is their charamel with a zip of jalapeno flavor! They also have a drink cooler and sell sizes from a small individual bag to a massive jumbo bag. I saw over the holidays they did tins too. Their prices are extremely reasonable. This is a great place to stop in for an inexpensive snack or treat or to pick up a gift. I hope this business keeps going and growing! If you're in the area, it's a must stop... but be careful because once you try it, you'll be unable to go down 28th street without popping in!

They serve Mooville ice cream, which is my favorite! We got a single scoop of the strawberry cheesecake - yum. But the best part was the freshly made waffle cone. Definitely one of the best waffle cones I've had, and seeing them being made right there really sold me. They took tap to pay and the employee and owner were super nice. I will be keeping an eye out for them at future events, and they offer catering/mobile ice cream services!

I had fun looking around at all the different items - they specialize in natural and organic products and have something for everyone, whether you're vegan, gluten free, keto, etc. They stock lots of supplements, vitamins, health and beauty products, produce, snacks, even beer and wine. I was asked if I needed help finding anything, but at that point I was still just browsing. I did eventually need to ask for help finding the psyllium husk, and the employee led me right to the section I needed (of course I had walked right by it at least twice). The snack aisle of any grocery store is my favorite, so I had to check it out. I didn't end up buying anything there, but I did find a flavor of sparkling water that I'd been looking for - and it was on sale! The aisles are still a little tight, but it wasn't too crowded when I was there. I really love this locally owned store and always enjoy my visits!

The iced coffees were as good as I hoped. When our drinks were delivered the woman giggled and said "you poke and have fun!".
