The shop lights were still on, and we could see people inside (who we later realised were all staff). We approached the automatic doors, but they didn't open. We checked the store's Saturday closing time on Google Maps and saw it was 7:00 pm. Just as we were about to give up, we noticed a staff member inside with long, straight brown hair, smiling and gesturing for us to come in through the glass door. Although we knew the store had already closed, I initially thought the staff member was being kind and generous by inviting us for a quick look. However, despite her repeated gestures, the automatic door remained shut. After a while, I realised the staff member had no intention of letting us in and was, in fact, making fun of us. I felt completely mocked and ridiculed, leaving me with a sense of being insulted. Later, the same staff member made a gesture with her hands, appearing to mouth an apology, but by then it felt insincere. I couldn't shake the feeling that this incident was racially motivated. She seriously needs to learn how to treat others with basic respect, even before receiving any customer service training. This was the worst experience I have ever had, and I will not be returning to ZARA again.

I visited the King's Road store, admittedly on a weekend, but it was a terrible experience. I have worked in retail on the King's Road and know just how stressful it can be, nonetheless, I was never allowed to overlook customer service. Firstly, there are two separate queues for buying and returning. While I think this is an intelligent idea overall, it is not well signposted, and the staff in the fitting rooms don't tell you. I had to wait for 30 minutes at the buying till, only to be told to go to the returns queue, and wait for another 30 minutes. Secondly, they seem to treat everyone trying to return items they have bought online like suspects. I wasn't allowed to exchange the products I had bought. I was told I'd have to pay for new items on the day. My refund for my first purchase was made, but it takes up to 12 days to arrive in my bank account. Why should I have to be out of pocket for a fortnight? I had already spent my money. Thirdly, when I raised a perfectly legitimate concern about a lack of signposting in the store about the queue system, and that customers who have already paid for items should be able to exchange, I was told by the manager that I should have asked about these policies when I entered the store. Why is that the case? Customers are not obliged to understand complex policies of firms - they are not employees! I was in two minds about posting a bad review, as I know that working in retail can be horrible, and I wouldn't want to leave hard-working staff feeling deflated. However, Zara's business model seems to have gone very down hill. They rely far too heavily on self-service. This may work in a supermarket when you know exactly what you need, but it simply isn't suitable for a company that sells clothes at mid-range price point. Overall, I would say that the company's focus 'selling fast' has undermined the customer experience, and has left staff feeling disillusioned. Great shame, as it used to be a great experience.

It is so nice to see this brand finally make its way to London. There are now two flagship stores in London, the other being in Covent Garden. There is also a showroom (pop-up shop) located in Richmond. The Marylebone showroom recently closed and will be reopening as a permanent store with a larger assortment in the near future. The Chelsea lululemon has the largest assortment of all the lululemon stores I've ever visited. It will be difficult to leave this store empty handed! Note that there are new styles delivered every week. lululemon carries both women's and men's sportswear/lifestyle yoga inspired apparel and accessories. Like all lululemon stores, there's a strong sense of community. They offer a complimentary 1 hour yoga class every Sunday at 10:30am, but space is limited so I suggest you show up early to guarantee a mat! They also have a run club every Saturday morning at 9am that leaves from the store. Although pricey, lululemon sells quality, smartly designed clothing that makes you look good and feel good. They encourage everyone to "sweat once a day" and are all about setting goals for oneself in order to succeed and live a fulfilling life.

No, it's because this is a lavish experience that will leave you feeling utterly spoiled... and wondering why you didn't do it sooner. Put out of your mind all thoughts of any other uncomfortable and awkward (and wrong!) bra-fitting you've ever been through before... R&P is on a whole other royal level of its own. First off, the atmosphere is classy, but comfortable. You can make an appointment for a fitting, but the first time I went there a couple of months ago, I just walked in. I have a weak spot for underthings, and after hearing so much about how amazing the service was from one of my friends, and how much she was in love with her recent purchase - I had to try it. Even though a bra fitting is the sort of thing that can make you feel pretty darn vulnerable, there wasn't any production involved with the process, it was very relaxed and my fitter totally put me at ease... by far the most amazing thing was that all she had to do was look at me! No tape measure, or feeling me up with some other contraption... just a careful look before announcing, "You're a...." And she was spot-on - they're like bra-fitting psychics! Rigby and Peller carry their own brand as well as some other nice lines like La Perla and Felina. The prices here really aren't more than what you would pay for any nice name-brand of lingerie... and the fact that the fitting is complimentary makes shopping here an unbelievable deal; you feel properly pampered in this store, attended to like an illustrious woman... almost as if you were a princess - or, well, even a Queen.

After years or…read moresecond-guessing, coming to Rigby & Peller was a complete and utter game-changer for me, my breasts, posture, and self-assurance. Women, we have enough to worry about, right? Don't you hate it when you're working and concentrating on something, and your bra strap won't stay put? Or your bra is riding up too high and pinching? The sad reality is that we, as women, learn to put up with that crap, and just "get on with it." But a fitting at Rigby & Peller, no matter what job or occasion you have, will set you up with a proper foundation. In return, you'll feel that a subtle sense of "oomph" in your femininity and self-care. Not to mention, your tits will look GREAT. The fitting process is simple, but you will need to be comfortable enough to be bare-breasted in front of the patient bra fitting specialist. Yes, she's a stranger, but it's her job to fit you. Never mind this awkward moment, because it's then time to try on the various bras she'll bring to you, and that's fun! Separate the pile from those that you like and those that she can return to the stockroom. I found my perfect bra, and gave my bra fitting specialist the one I walked in with to toss out...which she held up with one finger and rapidly disposed of in the nearest trash can. Goodbye crappy, ill-fitting, worn-out bra! Hello perfectly-supported, amazing-looking breasts and confidence! Instead of viewing my bra with disinterest or displeasure, I now have a new b(r)est friend.
