A friend and I stopped in for drinks and small plates and to watch the fight. Glad we got there early because Quotes does get the business. Really nice space, good drinks food was good, but the appetizers were small portions. The patio was a nice relaxing vibe, the staff was kind and they were busy. Also Cigars on the patio. I visited Quotes today with my real estate team and received great service. From the moment we walked through the door until we left. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. She was knowledgeable about the menu and recommended drinks to our likings. The firecracker shrimp and spinach dip appetizers were delicious. For my entree I had the shrimp and grits, they exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this establishments to others! Looking forward to dining again. read more

I've been to Quotes a few times and my experience was always great! However, we planned a family members party at Quotes on September 2nd and the service was beyond amazing! We reserved the upstairs cigar lounge as well as a few spaces downstairs in the main restaurant. The staff took care of all guest effortlessly. Food and drinks were great and consistently served. Literally everyone had a great time. The DJ and live guitarist were great as well! I want to thank the manager Claudia and Chef Jesse for making sure that the evening went according to our plans! The food presentation is great but don't let the presentation fool you cause the taste isn't good. The food is super bland, unseasoned, and requires more than salt and pepper to get right. The waitress took almost 30 minutes to drink a drink order but bought other drinks that was ordered after it. She didn't do a good job of listening to our orders. We chose well done steak for the dad's plate and it came out rare, grits was added to the order without requesting it, and the waitress wasn't around to fix the hang up another waiter fixed it for us. The lead waiter was on top of it and keep filing in for the waitress short comings. The food taste and customer service definitely needs improvement. I'm giving 2 starts for the building which is nice and modern, with a large bar section. The place has potential but they GOT to get better waiters/servers and a better cook. Took me an hour to get served and it was not even busy! The server must've been high on something because he messed up so many times! Then when the food came, it was bland and tasteless. My friends and I went to Quotes on Saturday Feb.18, 2023 , sadly we had the same experience that we've had the past 3 times... The place in itself is a great vibe but service is seriously lacking, the waitress was so nice and did great with what she could but we waited hours for old rebattered/old redropped chicken, waited hours for drinks, waited an hour for appetizers, got the wrong drinks, did not receive some orders at all, you can only order off of the Brunch menu so please don't get excited about the dinner options, amongst other things... Their open til 2a but by 11:30 people started clearing out because the service had us so irritated..... seriously at this point they need to call in some serious reinforcements for business help.... They closed for a week in January saying that they heard the guest feedback and closed to revamp and retrain so we came again to give this revamp a try but it's a no go.. Hope they get it together. After last Saturday we vowed to never return and I absolutely hate to feel that way about what really could be a great place. Note: I voiced my concern to them on IG and they deleted the message and never commented, acknowledged or apologized for the service so I had no choice but to come and leave an actual review. read more

I ordered the Soul food Platter, I ask the waitress twice for white meat, a breast and wing, or 2 fried chicken wings , she came out with drumettes‍ When I asked her twice If they offered white meat. The chicken drummettes had no seasoning. Thank God for the Mac in cheese, that was the only thing good. My greens were seasoned but cold. My boyfriend pecan waffles and chicken was great he expressed. His fried chicken was seasoned all the way through. The waffles were hot and the pecan sauce was epic. I will say the manager did offer to get me something else, but I was over it at this point. So if you plan to eat here, stick to the chicken and waffles, and the alcohol. We ordered a variety to find something we'd write home about... fire cracker shrimp, sauce drizzled across big cornmeal shrimp (unappetizing), spinach dip was runny, boudin Eggrolls were just ok, soul food platter- greens cold, Mac and cheese ok. Friend ordered a green salad that came late and took another 10 minutes for the dressing. My reviews echo some of the others online and in person with the same gripes. Came here with my cousin for her birthday, she called and reserved 3 tables. She called multiple times to ensure she would have the tables. Upon arrival she was told that she didn't have any reservations. The hostess then told her if I can be honest with you I wouldn't sit because there wasn't enough servers to accommodate her party. The manager came over and then told her that she would seat her party in waves of 12 as they arrived, but that didn't guarantee that the tables would be together. read more

Food takes forever to come out, bartenders have nasty attitudes and the service is subpar at best. They're constantly out of certain sides...just take it off your menu at this point. The bartenders also dont give you a full 1oz & half pour like they're supposed too. I've bartended for 3 years and know when you're being skimped out on what you paid for. Such as customer/table service, our table started with 2 but the reservation was for 7 - my husband and I were the last to arrive and the waitress (Jill) said "more people" - this should've been my first sign. Eventually we got another waitress who helped us get some food. I received my water after I almost choked with a Brussels sprout, 1 hr from arriving. One of our guest didn't get her meal with the rest of us, she received it 25 mins after and the food was cold. Our 2nd order of drinks NEVER CAME. The area has cramped seating. So we have now been there 30 mins and only just got a drink. When I asked barman what was taking so long, he rudely made some comments back to me, calling me Pops.
