Yep! It's Quiznos. The food is good and different and not for those that are addicted to monotony.

A lovely diner, but nicer than most you see. The decor and upkeep of it is above average. The…read morefood was plentiful and good, especially that cinnamon toast! The service was good. I had the Skillet that was on advertised at the table and got to take half of it home for leftovers. Delicious AND a good deal!

My son had the meat lovers skillet and it was a generous portion. My Reuben was delicious but I noticed it was sliced deli meat-like. It came with a side salad or soup. I chose the salad, iceberg lettuce, cheese and tomatoes. I asked for blue cheese, which came in a little capped container labeled BC. It was really yellow and kind of gelatin like. I decided to pass on it as I'm used to which blue cheese and didn't want to risk getting sick. The coffee was a fabulous light roast, not at all bitter. I was able to enjoy it black. The prices seemed a bit high for my sandwich. The bill for 2 lunches, coffee and a soda came to roughly $35. I saw they do charge 3% furnishing a credit card so I just left cash on the table. The food was okay but honestly, we could have eaten at Texas Roadhouse (early menu) for about the same price and I would have had leftovers for the next day. Even though the food was okay, we probably won't be back due to the value of the meal.

The Ritz is a solid throwback to a more simple time and vintage Iowa supper club dining. Good eats,…read moregood drinks, good service, and just enough atmosphere to transcend time to its 1948 opening. The Ritz is an absolute must for quality dining in Northeast Iowa. It's the Ritz. Not the Glitz. Don't expect ostentatious, fancy, trendy, or hipster presentations, just regionally up-a-notch traditional dining in the shadow of The Basilica St. Francis Xavier. The Ritz offers an impressive fare of meats, fish, seafoods, along with excellent sides and appetizers. They provide an excellent offering of sandwiches as well for a more casual plating. Gotta love the old style full bar. The house specialty is a Southern Comfort Old Fashioned. Martinis and classic call drinks add to the festivities. Each dinner entree comes with homemade soup, salad, and potato choices. A full coursing long lost in most contemporary restaurants. Their homemade soups are awesome. Steaks are perfectly char grilled to your desired temperature, and the fish and seafood equally ideal! All you can eat shrimp on Friday nights and prime rib Saturdays are standing traditions that give real meaning to standing traditions. The Ritz offers the best cheesecake West of a New York deli. On a busy night the Ritz is loud and the wait staff hustle without a break or loss of their awesome hospitality. I have no idea how they get so much properly prepared food out of a small kitchen without skipping a beat. On a quiet night just hanging out at the bar is priceless time. I think that Dan the bartender might be a wanted Renaissance Man chilling undercover at the Ritz. The crowd tends to be on the older side. Thank goodness the young folks haven't figured out what a great experience there is in classic supper club dining and mobbed the place! That inappropriate snarkiness aside, all are welcome and well served by a dining experience at the Ritz. In addition to it being a great and nostalgic culinary experience, keeping this family owned treasure in business for another generation is just one more reason to bring the family, stop in, and make the Ritz one of your regional favorites.

Great place to have dinner or a drink. The Ritz has been a Dyersville mainstay for decades.read more
