What you get for $26.50

Disappointing. I ordered a lobster roll with double meat and it was smaller than others without meat. When I asked the employee if this was the right one, he quickly said yes but didn't even look to see what I ordered. The taste was average. Won't be back

Fairly weak entry into the lobster roll arena. Small lobster roll for the price, and the lobster seemed to be of fairly low quality. The lobster bisque was gummy and had absolutely zero pieces of lobster. Overwhelming sherry taste. The staff was very friendly when picking up the phone order. Street parking in front.

$20 watery defrosted lobster meat

Small portion of watery defrosted not freshly picked lobster meat. Better places on the island.

Great spot, easy to park or walk, right up the street from the beach, the classic roll was delicious, kids working were friendly.

Appetizers/first courses are served family style. We rack picked a main (thus tried them all). My favorite appetizer: the stuffed peppers. Favorite salad: the wedge. Favorite main: each person adored his or her choice. I loved my scallops. Favorite dessert: olive oil cake. Owner stopped by several times to make sure we were enjoying. Whole heartedly! Truth: my favorite Ocean City boardwalk food is Mack and Manco's pizza but in Avalon, it is Summer Salt!

The first two courses of starters are the chefs creation in each person at the table gets to try it. He thought all the food was very good. We especially like the cheese, curds over marinara. For our entrées, my wife enjoyed the pasta with clams, although only six clams. I had the spare ribs which were very nice, but the accompanying corn and sauce was cold and it was a bit weird for me to have a cold sauce with hot spareribs. Our server volunteered to us that it was Jersey corn but I highly doubt that given Jersey Corn doesn't come into play until August typically. Dessert was excellent. We both had the lemon pudding creation.

The food was very good. The clam strips could've been a little more meatier--there were a lot of tiny crumbly pieces. The platters came with coleslaw and french fries both were prepared Very good. I also had the blonde brownie with ice cream and caramel sauce for dessert which was very tasty. The service was wonderful and friendly. We would come back and like to try one of their fish dishes some other time.

Handful of fries and a small cup of slaw. Scallops though small very sweet and succulent. Five star. Flounder very mild, almost tasteless cooked perfectly. Lobster and shrimp average at best. Fries cooked great but needed salt. Coleslaw was just cabbage mix and mayo. Crab nachos...a total let down. Chips were very thin and normally that would be a great thing but they quickly became soggy under the weight of the toppings. The tomato Pico tasted like a very garlicky Italian sauce. Don't get me wrong that sauce had a wonderful taste but it just wasn't a fit. The cheese sauce would have been good with the fries. The lump crab was just a smaller than average serving. Crab was fresh and sweet but as a whole these nachos just didn't work. Would we order again. Probably. It was ready as promised and order was packed nicely.
