This is one of my least favorite wineries on the Erie Wine Trail. The only reason I have been there…read moreseveral times is because they are are part of the pairings during events however we have skipped it on occasion due to the amount of time we had to get to other wineries. Our last experience was unforgettable - there was one person behind the bar and the bar was so full, you could not walk up to it. There was no one to provide the pairing for us and after waiting a few minutes, we left and went across the street. We did come back and it had cleared out. This place does offer a selection of beer which is what I always try. The wine in the pairing is always enough as I have never been fond of it. The beer is nothing to write home about either. One or two of them end up being ok but I would never purchase a growler to take home. I guess I want to like this place but the service is always lacking and the beer/wine is never that good. The atmosphere is unique for the area. It is more of a "hipster" feel and they try to make themselves stand out from other places which they do a good job of. I will give them props for that. Otherwise, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

I actually have not visited this physical location, so I cannot comment on the employees' customer service. I, however, did purchase a bottle of their wine from another location. I paid $14 for a bottle of their Concord wine. It was a sweet, full-bodied red wine, and I really enjoyed its fruity finish. I feel interested in buying more of their wines in the future. The chocolate, blackberry, peach, almond, cherry, apple, orange, plum, and others sound so tasty. The wines are on the sweeter side.

Much of their selection consists of fruit wines, some good and some too sugary sweet for my liking. I enjoyed the Pink Catawba and the sparkling version of it, the Niagara, and the White Riesling. Our hostess was friendly and eager to share details about the wines, and hey offer $3 off if you buy 3 bottles. This is a rustic winery, nothing fancy, but it was a fun stop on a snowy day. Mr. Mobilia and his daughter Nikki shared all about the winery, and the many jobs that are performed there. Kayla K. was also there, and she is one of their assistant Wine Makers. It was a pure pleasure to visit and learn so much about the Mobilia family history. Everyone I encountered was just great! I left with a new understanding of the region, and what goes into their wine-making and juice business. I left with bottles of a new wine they have called "Unexpected" which was a project that Kayla did. I also came across some Root Beer! Chautauqua Beverages on the label with "Produced by Mobilia Farms Inc." I didn't have root beer in mind at all, now I'm a fan of that also! I will most definitely be back! Award winning wines line the walls, and prices are very reasonable. I recommend Arrowhead Wine Cellars with no reservations at all. Real people, awesome wines! NOTE: I don't think I would have had this great experience during the big wine tasting tours, I imagine things get very busy. I went in the early afternoon on a weekday and had a very pleasant experience.

Tasting room is in the back & reasonably priced tasting flights were only $7, sparkling $11. I got the sparkling & the sparkling Chardonnay is much like a dry brut champagne. I had a glass after my tasting. Our bartender was on his own for tastings & front cash register bottle shop & he was very kind & informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here & the coolness factor of the civil war era wine cellar.

They also had a nice variety of dark beer (the only kinds I like). They also had a minimal but sufficient food menu to choose from. I also love the historic building this establishment is located in, as it has so much character! We ordered our food, flights, and also purchased a couple of bottles to go. Our waitress also informed us that they have an open patio in the summer time, which we are looking forward to experiencing once its warmer outside.
