They typically have the holiday items on a rotating sales schedule so if it's not on sale one week, try the next and you'll most likely walk out with a great deal. The team here is very kind. There's always an ample amount of baskets to do your shopping with my biggest complaint is that they do not accept Apple Pay. I had to stand in line during the holidays, which was already a long line just for a lady to have forgotten her wallet and they don't accept Apple Pay and mind you her total was over $300 and if you can just imagine that's a lot of items to scan with most of it being 50% off for her to just not be able to pay so that was kind of frustrating to wait through because she had to find someone to come help her pay. They also only had two cashiers available this night. One was for returns and the other one was for purchases so that did kind of damp in my experience because I was ready to leave. The staff was friendly enough until I changed my mind about getting a couple of chairs recovered. I signed the purchase order and a few days later, decided that I wanted to use the fabric originally planned to recover the chairs for drapes instead. I explained that I just wanted to order some different fabric for the chairs from them and use my own upholster. They totally refused to refund the labor costs even though the new fabric and not even been purchased for the chairs. This is very confusing. If you don't want to use their upholstery labor, then why should you have to pay for it if you change your mind and want to use your own sources for the labor? I had to buy additional fabric from them to get the chairs recovered in order not to lose the much inflated price they charge for labor. I think they could easily have refunded the labor costs since that service was no longer desired. Now I am looking at a 7 week delay in getting the finished chairs returned. In addition I have to bring the chairs to the store in order to dodge another charge. I could have gotten them turned around in 3 weeks for a much more reasonable price. I was NOT told this was the policy when I originally made arrangements. I feel very ripped off and will never do business with Calico Corners ever again! Please spare yourself some grief and do not use Calico Corners! I am now very concerned that the workmanship will not be up to par even after a long wait! This was a very expensive mistake!
