I haven't been in store yet but I did get gas here a few weeks ago and I found them on DoorDash yesterday. I just had to order a breakfast pizza. I got a large veggie+bacon. It was pretty heavy on the onion which didn't bother me but my husband had to add taco sauce to cut the onion a bit. The pizza was hot and fresh even being delivered 15-20 mins away. I am so happy to know we have a Casey's nearby!

I have been here many times, as it is the only gas station between the lady who cuts my hair and jumping on 30. The follwing experiential vignettes will illustrate what this place is like. About 8 months ago I stopped in and made a straight shot to the bathroom (.79 cent colas will do that). When I opened the door and stepped in, I sidled up to the urinal only to have the cleaning lady walk out and clean the urinal next to me. She didn't say a word, or depart. I really don't care altogether, but she could snap a picture of me at that point, caption it Harvey Wienstein Jr. and I really have no defense there. Last time I went in the teller was having a pretty loud verbal altercation with a staff member, and the other staff was just chilling on it. It went on for about 4 minutes, with a line of customers, and no one was getting checked out. Another day I wanted an iced tea, and I stepped over to the Dickie's which is inside. They were out of everything, except tea basically. I was in luck, EXCEPT that the one 17 year old that was manning the whole operation was overwhelmed and after waiting in the short line (literally!) 10 minutes, I said "peace in DFW East!" and dipped. Today, the bathroom was a mess and the previous meat gazing janitorial staff was nowhere to be seen. The pics that accompany this post actually look better than real life. Proximity and soda - 5 stars though!

Just had my first visit to Lava Hot Chicken and it did not disappoint…read more Such a great lunch spot--portion sizes are solid for the price, and everything came out fresh and flavorful. Jason ordered the Lava #1 (2 mild strips) and I got the Lava #2 (2 hot chicken sliders). The "hot" was more of a medium kick, while the mild still had great flavor without much heat--so definitely approachable for anyone easing into spice. I also helped myself get some mac & cheese since it was a cold and rainy day, but to be honest I probably would've gotten some mac & cheese anyways. Delicious! Also have to shout out Alex--super patient, helpful with the menu, and honestly just great service all around. He anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask, which you don't see often. Really made the experience even better. And I have to add--I'm usually not a fan of crinkle fries, but these were actually spot on. We'll definitely be back!

Very polite & helpful counter staff if you are not familiar with their menu. For regulars, self-ordering is done on the screen on the counter. Take-out, or delivery boxes are sturdy, and sealed with a big sticker. A buddy gave me his coupon, I had never tried Lava Hot Chicken before. So, to get their new Hot Chicken Tacos.... You MUST purchase a #1, #2, or #3 Meal. I got the Sliders meal to go with the 5 tacos deal. Got home, everything stayed warm in these boxes, and the spiciness was not as hot as the hype! Good ingredients, good bite & chew on the white chicken meat tenders. Buns were soft, fries were a bit hotter than the chicken! Hot Chicken Tacos were decent, the flour tortilla had a nice texture, did not fall apart, easy to eat! I did not try the Maple Waffle fries, sounds delicious! The urban spray paint "art" theme is not seen around here, is very colorful. Parking situation is cramped with popular Chiloso's nearby, so be careful of others in a rush. 4 stars because of the narrow menu offering, BUT adding Cold Beers bumped it up to 5 Stars, well played!
