This is the QuikTrip located just north of Spaghetti Junction (I-85 and I-285). What sets this QT apart from most others in metro Atlanta is this one is a truck stop too. However, it's not a full-fledged truck stop. It doesn't have an expanded convenience store, showers, etc. It's a standard QT with extra space for semis to refuel and park. That's it. I filled up here after a visit to nearby Heritage Golf Links. On a Saturday evening around 6:20pm, this QT was busy, but what QT isn't? The gas station has 28 pumps, which is above average for a QT in the Atlanta area. I used pump 8 and everything worked fine. The pump was in good condition and overall, the property felt clean and safe, consistent with the QT brand. This QT was also easy to get in and out of. I saw a few of those gray Amazon Prime delivery vans here. One of them was having mechanical issues. Amazon employees were working under the hood. I was curious and looked it up -- Amazon has a distribution center located just half a mile up the road. I'm a fan of QuikTrip and this one is generally in line with the rest. This is a truck driver QT and it's really organized and stocked with selections for truck drivers and other consumers. Came here for a fountain drink before I went home, and they had plenty. My son wanted snacks, so I bought Hershey pretzels for him and a slushy. The gas is pretty reasonable, but I didn't need any at the time. I will definitely be back soon. read more

I thought this was a pretty good QuikTrip to go to yesterday. As some have mentioned, the best part about it is definitely the convenience, as it's right off of I-85 and Pleasantdale Road. It's true, there are some sketchy characters regularly off of Pleasantdale Road - a decent amount of homeless or those coming from the nearby motel. However, when my fiancé and I went yesterday there were no issues. This QuikTrip is pretty packed all the time it seems when I drive by, and it was yesterday also on Sunday afternoon. I like the layout better than the Pleasant Hill one in Duluth and it seems to have a better selection of goods. Although, the one on Oakbrook Parkway is still my favorite (next to the McDonald's and Burger King). We finally got to try some hot items, as we usually go later at night when the hot food counter is closed already. Everything was great. I especially enjoyed the buttery, salty soft pretzel I got with cheese sauce. I have been missing Auntie Anne's and Pretzelmaker, since a lot of those stores are in malls and still closed because of the pandemic. I would say this pretzel way just as good and not overpriced like its competitors. My fiancé also enjoyed his sandwich, pizza, and shake (see pictures). Overall, we would come back to this spot. Just know that it is a bit more crowded than the other locations, so if you don't feel comfortable having so many people in the shop at once, then maybe try another location. read more

I feel as if all QuikTrips are good gas stations besides the customer service this specific QuikTrip has multiple employees with hairnets on but not covering all their hair. I rather not have my food made while your ponytail or bangs are out and over my food I do not appreciate that and all the talking over the food before it's done being prepared. For this to be a truck stop and right off the highway you would think they have more staff... it's a shame truck drivers hungry from driving all night can't even get a bite to eat... and the homeless people that sit out side the establishment is even worse . The staff is friendly and the only reason I gave them two stars. For Quicktrip to be so big something needs to be done !!! read more

I don't really have any issues with Quiktrips. They're all usually extra busy during the week day mornings than any other time. This location especially! Since this particular QT is right off 85 & 285, the regular traffic is normally insane. This gas station also has high truck traffic. I've never been here when there wasn't high truck volume! I haven't had any issues with this QT. They're all the same to me. They are all adding the ice cream shops and the stock is plentiful. I like QT gas stations. This is one is no different from the others. read more

right in the heart of the hood this legendary QuikTrip sets off of Interstate 85 on the doraville city limits.. the employees have gotten much better within the last 2 years I can say that. it did get a full out of remodel and tear down in 2016 into 2017. what I can definitely say though is the Riff Raff and the hugging hooker hotel now known as the Atlanta Lodge LOL is still there right on the next door.. this area is not safe it hasn't been safe for years you have to watch your back no matter where you go..they do have plenty of security here now all the time which is a good thing especially at night and on the weekends...the parking is always jam-packed nine times out of 10 you don't find a place to spot you have to create one but a lot of times now they don't seem to care if you park along the perimeter in the fire lane just don't park like a moron blocking a hydrant it's been a given as fast as you move somebody somebody else moves In...I don't stay here overnight is a rule I usually take it as a stress break when assholes and morons typical of many everyday Atlanta drivers are acting up...but that's not the new it's been like that for years just like my hometown of Chicago LOL so after spending an hour and 10 minutes to go 14 miles I said hell with it it's now prime rush hour I'll sit here for an hour and a half and just chill have a smoothie I don't want to eat cuz I ate earlier but still the bathrooms are getting bad or you let him know they're bad they do come and clean and promptly here.. this is also one of the ones that is still succeeded in having a 24-hour kitchen deli like the other QuikTrips that seem to still shut down at 10 at night so that's kind of a good thing too. the store itself is a slam bam Jam area right off of the main bus line to Atlanta you do sometimes have on the backside be careful some shifty character sitting in their cars and occasionally you'll get a door knocker while you're sitting in your truck but for the most part compared to other places if you could tolerate that it's not too bad.. main thing I find is at least the gun fights and battles are further into the hood when they have them not at the QuikTrip anymore and the robberies have pretty much gone away.. although I could stay up until about a year or two ago I would never even set foot in this place here in the middle of the hood because it wasn't safe but I still and I'm on my guard and I'll just leave it at that it does have its ups and downs. Never, ever go to this QT. I made the mistake of going here one morning on the way to work and it was awful. I know that QTs are busy in the morning anyway, but this was ridiculous. The parking lot was full and people in there didn't know how to drive. The inside looked kind of like a tornado went through there and there also seemed to be an inordinate number of scantily clad women walking around trying to drum up a little business. I have never seen a QT like this and I've been to a lot of both ITP and OTP and this by far is the absolute worst! read more

As you approach this QT station from Pleasantdale Road, which is lined with abandoned bumpers, shredded tires and assorted busted tail and headlights, you'll notice a lot of loitering. The pumps are notoriously slow and chances are very likely that you'll be approached by some bum asking you for varying amounts of cash, $4.50, $1.50 and so on. If you're really lucky, you'll be asked to buy someone some gas. Geez. The station's saving grace is that it's easy on/off from 85 and 285. Other than that, yuck. read more

This location caters to long haul truck drivers so it is very busy but friendly and nice! This QT is more geared to the truck drivers and it is right at I-85 and spaghetti junction (285 interchange) and is in an Industrial park thus the constant people. Next door is a low end spa and chicken wing place and just behind this store is a low end hotel for people who can only afford to stay in an hotel or they would be homeless. The area has all walks of life so it is a great place to see it all! I love the staff here as they are nice and fast to help but they have a non-stop job trying to watch for things and keeping the store clean but they do a good job! They just built a new building at this location and tore down the old one. The new QT is larger and has more of everything. It's shiny and new. They have added an iced tea fountain station. There are picnic tables outside. The parking lot is bigger. The employees here are problematic. There is a police officer that does security inside. I feel like he's always watching me. We went earlier tonight and he followed my boyfriend around the store. We came in for drinks but decided to leave without purchasing anything because the harassment is insulting. Last week, when I was here an adult white male, estimated age 32, was the cashier. He asked me if I was going to share the junk food I was buying- I said, "no, I'm binging". He responded, "if you want, I'll help you work it off". I was shocked. I figured he must be high on meth and energy drinks for him to feel it was okay to say anything like that to me. Anyway, this gas station is very close to a hotel highly frequented by prostitutes and drug dealers, so there is a sleazy energy here. read more

Waited about 10 Minutes for my order and it wasn't right. When I told them I was missing a sandwich they just gave me a random sandwich

Went here in the AM to grab a coffee made my order and waited about 10 minutes which is fine, they were busy. Then I hear the girl scream they are out of coffee beans, waits like 5 minutes for them to get the beans then I hear another girl say just give him decaf on the white mocha, so she starts making it and I ask if they are making mine with decaf even though that's not what I ordered and she says yes, I say you can't do that it's not what I ordered and they both begin to say have a nice day sir, have a nice day, basically saying goodbye to my business. read more
