This is RaceTrac store #2329 and it's located on Jimmy Carter Blvd near Peachtree Industrial Blvd. This is one of RaceTrac's current generation "RT6K" stores that carry over 4,000 retail and grocery items in about 6,000 square feet of floor space (hence the model name). It opened in April 2014. It's part of a bigger, several-years-long construction plan, which includes the Zaxby's next door, to develop all the red, barren land in the immediate block. RaceTrac, which is headquartered in Atlanta, is the only convenience store and gas station chain that can really compete against QuikTrip, which, while headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, rules the metro Atlanta market. These RT6K stores are great. Like QT's current gen stores, they're big, bright, modern, and clean. They're open 24/7, offer a bevy of food, drink, and retail options, and are outfitted with a crew of uniformed employees. A few things that set RaceTrac apart from QT: (1) RaceTrac has both indoor and outdoor seating. QT only has outdoor seating. (2) RaceTrac has Swirl World, a self-serve frozen yogurt bar. QT does not. However, I have to caveat #2 -- the Swirl World machines were out of operation at this location during my visit. There was a sign posted that said they would be "swirling" again soon. (3) They offer fresh, hot, boiled peanuts in two flavors, original and Cajun, for $1.99 for 16 oz. and $2.99 for 32 oz. QT doesn't have fresh boiled peanuts. The gas station is spacious with easy in-and-out access from Jimmy Carter Blvd. There are 18 pumps. All have E-85 flex fuel and I believe all also have diesel. The gas prices are competitive. Like all businesses, RaceTrac isn't perfect. Two places where QT wins are: (1) Free air. QT offers free air for your tires. RaceTrac doesn't. You have to pay. (2) Top Tier detergent gasoline. QT uses Top Tier fuel. RaceTrac doesn't. Regardless, this is still a good gas station. read more

The entire TEA bar was down today. I couldn't get a single drop of my favorite tea. I asked the clerk why no tea? She said this:. If the Arnold Palmer and Arizona teas from the soda fountain machine are not working, them there will be none of the teas next to it either. Which really confused me because those 2 are fountain drinks and the whole tea bar is BREWED. But what do I know? Very annoyed we went out of our way to get our tea and there was none to be had. Racetrac stores have been more competitive over the years offering same amenities ,roller foods and low gas prices like qt(quiktrip). This location have indoor and out door seating , free wifi and fifth third bank Atms. They have one section dedicated to self serve froyo at a low price. Breakfast food and empanadas. Fresh made donuts and pastries.Hot dogs, taquitos, tamales and corn dogs along with a toppings station. Extensive soda fountain with vitamin water on tap. Limited grocery and a walking beer cooler. Perfect summer stop in get cool snacks, drinks, and most affordable gas. One stop shop! I'm normally a strictly QT girl, but this Race Trac definitely has them beat with so much more to offer. Finally an E85 station!! And not just at one pump, or around back in an old pump either,....at every pump!! I guess they just switched all their ethanol free pumps (100 octane) over to ethanol (E85). Sort of ironic, but I love it because ethanol is a much more desired product for our cars (and therefore more saleable) than 100 octane. For the record, gas is 2.33 today and E85 is 1.79. This is a great gas station anyways. Clean and new with everything inside; drink fountain, hot food, frozen yogurt, etc. Racetrac has picked up their service and brand a lot with this store. Maybe it's a special market trial store, I don't know. It's great though. It's on Jimmy Carter just under the 141 overpass in Peachtree Cornerns. read more

TIP: use the traffic light to make a left into RaceTrac if you are traveling east on Jimmy Carter blvd. It will be much easier than trying to cross two busy, often solid, lanes of traffic... of course many people do not use the common sense that God gave a gnat and do try and inch their way through the busy lanes traffic traveling westbound... I was dubious about getting a gas station in this location ... i know Jimmy Carter blvd is a well traveled route but I was just not sold on needing a gas station in this very location... But wow... this RaceTrac has made a believer out of me. This location has really redefined the notion of "gas station" ... The inside is very clean and well stocked. There are a lot of interesting choices for snacks including several varieties of frozen yogurt and toppings (ahem, parents, will you keep your beloved offspring and their germ-laden hands away from the topping bar? Finally, this thing is finally open! The last time I was back home, this RaceTrac was still under construction. I really needed a coffee pit stop one morning and couldn't figure out where the next Starbucks was down the road, so I stopped by RaceTrac just to get coffee. The inside was clean, large, and inviting. The coffee is stored in these dispensers which led me to believe that this coffee was not so fresh (I used to work at QT where we had staff specifically looking at the coffee gauges and time to see if coffee was fresh or not). The Colombian coffee was slightly watered down and a little bit sour, but I can't really complain for $1.19. The condiments island here is interesting - the milk is in bottles straight out of the refrigerator, cooled by an interesting contraption underneath. I picked up a 2% fat milk (they didn't have skim.... bummer) and it was half frozen, which was a bit annoying. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. I was greeted by a really friendly employee who also waved to me when I drove off, since he went outside. The cashier was also really nice. I don't think I've ever been treated so nicely outside of Chickfila! Nice convenient location right off Peachtree Industrial Blvd and Jimmy Carter/Holcomb Bridge. read more

Great location as it is right down the street from my job. The staff members are all very pleasant and courteous for the most part. The biggest thing that pisses me off when I go in here is that in the mornings there is always a long line. Instead of the cashiers saying :May I help the next person in line", they will wait on whoever jumps in front of them and the line. They need to pay attention and regulate the flow of the lines much better. Second, I LOVE their chicken empanadas, however, there have been so many times when I've gone there specifically for these and of course no one has mad sure that the stock is replenished regularly. This morning I went in and there was NOTHING available on any of the shelves that carry the empenadas and other breakfast foods. Shame on y'all because you know how busy this place is and that those items sell very quickly. It should NEVER be empty especially in the morning. read more

K.B and Ciaja at store# 2329, at 6875 Jimmy Carter rd , Nocross, GA are the most honest, trustworthy, pleasant and professional employees I have ever had the pleasure of coming across. I left there store with my 8yr old after making a purchase and I left my Bank card on the side of their counter in error. I didnt realize I had lost my card until 2 hrs later when I went to make a purchase for my daughter and I couldnt find my card!! I figured I left my card at the store as I was in a rush at the time and just knew the odds of my card being recovered after that period of time I left the store would have been a real stretch! But it was more like integrity,work ethic,honesty and prayer to GOD that allowed me to have been in the right place at the right time with the RIGHT PEOPLE,Ciaja and K.B. When I returned back to the store, Ciaja was there and I asked her if she saw a card possibly left on the counter and she said yes!! Omg!! I was soooooo relieved!! After I left the store, both clerks realized the card was mostlikely mine because the area I was in talking to my daughter and they put my card aside for safe keeping expecting my return!! That type of honesty I thought was gone in this world we live in today but Ciaja and K.B have restored a whole new faith in there are still some honest people out there who do care and watch out for others.
