And then when…read moreyou try to get a refund at the station, they won't give you one but instead give you an 800# and tells you to contact their main headquarters, but then when you contact the main headquarters, they send you back to the local station. So it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to get a refund for a car wash that they sold you for a car wash that doesn't work. Never buy a car wash at this station!!!

It's located at the corner of Peachtree Parkway (141) and Engineering Drive in Peachtree Corners. If traveling northbound on 141, a convenient one-way entrance, almost like a highway exit, has been designed just for this RaceTrac. It makes pulling in quick and easy. If traveling southbound on 141, you'll have to make a left at the light at Engineering Drive. This RaceTrac is not to be confused with store #490, just 1.8 miles away, at 5700 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Norcross (https://www.yelp.com/biz/racetrac-norcross-4). Before ground broke, Patch reported this convenience store would be 5,000 square feet (https://patch.com/georgia/peachtreecorners/new-convenience-store-break-ground-february). If true, this isn't one of RaceTrac's RT6K model stores or even their 5.5K store type (https://www.racetrac.com/About-Us/History), or maybe it is. It does have a Swirl World inside. Regardless, it's nice and these should be the bare minimum standard for gas stations and convenience stores. This station has 14 pumps. I used pump #1 yesterday. It looked brand new and was in excellent condition. The displays were bright and crystal clear - just take a look at my pics. The pump had four handles, which you don't see often: 1. Green handle for diesel. 2. Yellow handle for E-85 for flex-fuel vehicles. 3. Orange handle for unleaded 88. 4. Black handle for the standard three grades of unleaded: 87, 89, 93. I paid $2.439 per gallon for premium unleaded. I thought this was a reasonable price and competitive with my other preferred traditional gas station and convenience store chain in metro Atlanta, QuikTrip. On a fall Saturday morning, this station was clean, quiet, and peaceful. A couple guys were enjoying breakfast on the front patio as I made my way on to the nearby golf course, RiverPines Golf, in Johns Creek.

This Chevron gas station is one of the tiniest that I have ever seen. There are only six pumps, and the convenience store is just as small to match. The pump machines looked very old, but at least I could still pay at the pump with my credit card. I thought the little "keypad" was funny because they were literally like keys on a computer keyboard. I guess all that matters is that it worked, and it worked just fine. Overall, this Chevron gets 3 stars for doing it's job just fine, but I could see it getting crowded when their gas price is lower since there are only six pumps. Unknown to me apparently Chevron has allowed independent owners to charge whatever they want as a hold on a credit card transaction. The norm is $1. In this case this station owner thought it fair that $100 was a fair price to put as a hold!! $100 for $29 worth of premium gas. You've got to be kidding me! Here is some advice to the owner..stop that! You will only lose customers with this stupidity.

However, it's not a full-fledged truck stop. It doesn't have an expanded convenience store, showers, etc. It's a standard QT with extra space for semis to refuel and park. That's it. I filled up here after a visit to nearby Heritage Golf Links. On a Saturday evening around 6:20pm, this QT was busy, but what QT isn't? The gas station has 28 pumps, which is above average for a QT in the Atlanta area. I used pump 8 and everything worked fine. The pump was in good condition and overall, the property felt clean and safe, consistent with the QT brand. This QT was also easy to get in and out of. I saw a few of those gray Amazon Prime delivery vans here. One of them was having mechanical issues. Amazon employees were working under the hood. I was curious and looked it up -- Amazon has a distribution center located just half a mile up the road. I'm a fan of QuikTrip and this one is generally in line with the rest. So, four stars.

The store is so different than I remember. The staff is always very helpful and accommodating. The selections are great. I would especially like to compliment the pharmacy staff. I had all of my RX's moved here, and it's been the best pharmacy experience ever. If I call, they are very pleasant and helpful. I recently had an issue with a refill, and where my last pharmacy would have just said the insurance didn't cover it, they told me to continue my shopping and come back. They called my insurance company and got it approved. I don't know who is managing the store and the pharmacy, but they are doing a great job.

These rascals are crispy, and most importantly the cornbread is not sweet, it is flavorful, and the hotdog is juicy. There is never a wait at the counter no matter how busy the store may be. Not only that everyone is pleasant and wishes you a good day. If you have the need to get your corn dog on, Quiktrip does a great job.
