They even customized her sandwich a bit. When we were leaving, they got her a water to go. Nice touches and it was appreciated. I tried the regular cheese steak with sweet peppers. I didn't get a lot of cheese or mushrooms but the meat was good and tender. (I just wanted more cheese and mushrooms, and peppers for that matter.) I ordered a small and know they are SMALL. I did love the bread. My aunt got the pastrami signature sandwich without the coleslaw. She said it was great (and she can be a bit picky sometimes). :) We went around 11:15 and we were the only ones there. By the time we left, it was filling up. It's a small spot and they were doing a lot of carryout orders. I did like that they have one flavor of Stubborn soda--Agave Cream--on tap. So good! I will be back.

The blend of spices and seasonings they use takes their sandwiches to another level, creating bold, delicious flavors that keep you coming back. On top of the amazing food, the customer service was exceptional. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care about providing a great experience. My only complaint is that I wish they had a location in Oklahoma City! I'd be there all the time. If you're anywhere near a Capriotti's, it's absolutely worth the visit.

Fast food chicken restaurants with the best salad…read more The big franchises or the independent locals? Who has it, the best? I start this quest with a strong bias towards Slim Chickens in Broken Arrow. I have tried it several years ago and I was impressed. Proceeding with a redo of the fast-food chicken restaurant outlets. The competitors are as follows: Slim Chickens, Chick-fil A, Waldo's, Zaxby's, Red Light Chicken, Chicken and the Wolf, and Charlies Chicken. Slim Chickens is a strong competitor. It has a big salad. Loaded with chicken, vegies and a bonus of onion rings. They have more varieties of dressing than a pack of Crayola crayons has colors. A five-star Slim's Salad today. This is going to be hard to beat. The chicken is good. Not the best in the industry, but good. Of the franchises, I prefer Raising Cane's chicken. Unfortunately, they are not in the competition, because they do not offer a salad. That's a good thing, sticking to the what they do best. Slim Chickens restaurant in Broken Arrow is clean. The service is outstanding for a fast-food franchise. One of the very best in service. Now there is something else. Nothing to do with the salad. The fried pickles. A heaping basket of greasy, crisp, crunchy, salty, spicey, vinegary, thin sliced pickles, with a perfect fried flour and corn meal coating. Dipping sauce NOT needed! I have never had any this good anywhere, period. Check the pictures and try them the next time you are in the store. Off to another chicken joint I go!

I really like the blackberry Dr Pepper soda flavor so when Whataburger came out with this shake I had to try it. I was not disappointed at all! If you like the soda, you'll love the shake!!! On to the sandwich. I've been on a buffalo sauce kick recently so when stopping for the shake I saw this advertised and of course had to try it. Again, not disappointed. I was much larger than expected, had great tasting chicken strips, wonderful buffalo sauce that tasted like franks with just the right amount of butter... then topped with the correct balance of ranch dressing. I will be back soon for both. Oh yeah, can't forget the friendly drive through lady!

I mobile ordered a Jr. Whataburger at 2:10pm. When I arrived the workers all ignored me and would not acknowledge. Finally a worker walked up the register, did not greet me and just what can I get you? I told them I had a mobile order, and they were like, oh, yeaaaah, they are probably still working on that. I have counted at least 6 employees and 3 people eating in the lobby, nobody in the drive thru. This isn't my first experience like this here. I believe it will be my last though. Decent food, but not worth the wait or the lousy service and poor treatment.

Arriving a little after 1pm I briefly eyeballed the menu until I saw they served spiedies. Full stop at that point. I'd been wanting to try this for quite some time and Yummy was the first place I'd seen them, so my mind was made up. My sandwich arrived at my table in decent time, hot and ready to go. I opted for the 8" version since I wasn't starving, and I'm glad I did. Even the smaller version was more than enough for lunch. The chicken was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Piled onto the bun with all the lettuce and tomato, it was graced with a generous amount of hot, melted cheese. This was probably one of the better sandwiches I've had in a long time. My only comment, and it's not a complaint, is it would have been a little bit better had they used dark meat. More flavor and a moister finished product, but that's just a personal preference on my part. Service was as good as you could expect from a walk up, order and go sit down environment. The place is clean, spacious and maybe a little on the noisy side because of acoustics, but not enough to be a distraction. Overall, a great sandwich.

I usually order my food to go, but on one visit I arrived early and spent some time inside. The front area has a small waiting space with decor that gives a bit of history and personality to the place. They also offer beef for purchase, which is a nice touch if you are someone who enjoys cooking at home. I sat at the bar while I waited, and the service matched what I have come to expect from them. Friendly, attentive, and easygoing. The bartender even helped create a drink based on the flavor profile I described. It had a light citrus note with tequila and was very well balanced. As for the food, the onion burger is my favorite. I always add lettuce and tomato, and their burger sauce brings everything together. The flavors are rich without being overwhelming, and the quality of the beef stands out. The fries deserve their own mention. The regular fries are crispy and well done, and the sweet potato fries are just as good, which makes it hard to choose between the two. I usually get the garlic aioli on the side, and it takes everything up another level. The atmosphere is slightly elevated compared to a typical burger spot, especially in the bar area, but still relaxed enough to feel comfortable. It is a place I will keep coming back to whenever I want a burger that feels worth it.

The burger came on toast and is very similar to a patty melt if you like that style. Honestly it was a great burger. The wife and I shared some cheese and onion fries... I can't say enough about how delicious it was.
