I tried the spinach artichoke dip and the hummus. The dip was excellent, rich and flavorful, while the hummus was just okay. One downside is the pricing. Both the prepared foods and the candy and novelty items felt quite expensive. The shop was fairly crowded during my visit on a Tuesday, which made it a bit difficult to move around and browse comfortably. It did start to feel a little overwhelming at times, though it is easy to see why it draws a crowd given the sheer variety and unique selection. My favorite was the Hammond coconut crème bar! It's not necessarily a bad thing. However, whether or not this is true, it just makes it seem like less of a good location than the newer ones. For example, the less sleek feel of this location makes it seem less clean, though this may not actually be the case (or, maybe it is, I'm not sure). More importantly, this location feels smaller in comparison to the newer ones. I also noticed that they didn't have the exact same options as some of the other locations. Lately I've been a fan of this energy green tea drink, but when I came here for one recently, they didn't have this flavor. I was a bit sad because I was really in the mood for it! Oh well! I still walked out with a good drink because I got a Diet Coke and added my own vanilla flavoring. And I could be remembering wrong (if so I'll correct/ update the review of course!) but I don't really think I remember seeing any food options at this QuikTrip. Again, not a bad thing, just not as convenient and versatile as other locations. One good thing is that no matter which QT you visit, the prices are still insanely good! That is whatever, but when I need a snack or something, there is nothing in the entire store less than $2.29. a 12 ounce can of Dr pepper is $2.29! That is outrageous! Of course I can go somewhere else, but when I'm stopping there for gas, It would be convenient to get other things I need at the same time. $2.49 for a small package of donuts. $2 for a roller item is the only exception to the 2.29 thing, but still. This is price gouging and is the reason the value of our dollar is going down. After this and finding out how they treat their employees, and the damn robots always in your way, I will no longer be giving them my business, which I've calculated to be about $30 or more a day, and a minimum of $210 a week. QT is also a safe place so if you are ever in a situation where the need arises you can go to a QT and the staff is trained in how to help or refer out to who can help.
