One of my favorite QTs hands down! The Howell Mill location always has great service--the team is super friendly, helpful, and honestly just makes the whole experience better every time I stop by. Now let me tell you... I was finally lucky enough to get my hands on the limited-time Bahama Mama doughnut, and YES, it was fresh when I got it. I'm a doughnut girl through and through, so I was super excited--and it did not disappoint. The flavor? Loved it. Also, can we talk about the breakfast pizza? It's one of my personal faves, and I always recommend it to folks who haven't tried it yet. Add in the nitro cold brew bar--because I loveeeee my coffee--and it's a win all around. The entry in to this charming red brick edifice is well-lit & visible. The door is top of the line glass and metal. It opens smoothly & ever so quietly on its hinges. It is larger than standard sized, I believe. The aromas of rolling hot dogs & corn dogs blended with the delicate scent of taquitos and a note of pizza seasonings tickles the senses upon entering the building. The dazzling array of sweet and savoury treats is almost too much to gaze upon. I am in agony. So many options!! Selecting the category of snack could take ages... The selection of refrigerated grab-and-go beverages one may choose from is overwhelming. Take the sexy bottles of H2O on display. Exquisite. They even carry that often touted delicacy, charcoal filtered water. This is often the most popular option if one can afford it. By now you are wondering if I'll ever mention them: Energy Drinks. The creme de la creme of gas station thirst quenchers. Truly, this is where QT shines. Their selection is unparalleled and the prices often reflect this variety. Then there are the Freezonis, QT's famous frozen slush drinks in fruity flavours and colours. They are every child's fantasy and QT is so happy to oblige the future leaders of America. Other excellent options are the brewed and fancy coffees alike. QT doesn't leave out your furry little friends. They offer snacks and other choice items for your furbabies. There are many offerings that have nothing to do with one's mouth & belly. Freely peruse the small, overpriced, but conveniently accessible household or automobile related items. On our way around town and my friend's car needed a fill up. She won't let me do the gas (independent woman, what can I say?) so I wandered around a bit while she pumped the gas. The store is the standard QT layout with coffee, soda fountains, candy, snacks, coolers of sodas and juices, the made-to-order kitchen and an island of cash registers in the center. Men's room was clean. Customers were checked out quickly and that included me. A positive experience. The station is a couple of blocks from I-75 and is located between Defoor and Chattahoochee. This is your standard QT location and that isn't a bad thing, as I love a good QT! They are located directly on Howell Mill Road and sit between Defoor Avenue and Chattahoochee Avenue, which are actually the only ways to get in and out of the lot...so, the address may read Howell Mill, but you have to choose between Defoor or Chattahoochee to actually get in! Luckily both are lights, so they are solid entry points...but on the not so lucky side of things, this area is terrible with traffic, so be prepared for issues and waits to get in and out! In short, this QT is in a great and not-so great location! This location was opened just a few years ago, I believe in 2018 and is still holding its own in condition and cleanliness even with the massive amount of foot traffic they get on a daily basis. Since it is a newer footprint of QT it is equipped with the upgraded QT Kitchen, tea station, coffee station and has a few more pumps than your average gas station as well, 16. Overall, when I am in the area and the traffic is not insane, which is a rarity, I will swing in this QT for a variety of things from filling up to iced coffee, pizza and the occasional tornado. read more

As a former, frequent QT goer I was surprised to see this location as I was passing by amongst the restaurants & auto shops in the Howell Mill Industrial area now tagged as West Midtown. One can get just about anything at QT, both food & non-food items such as cans of air, bungee cords, laundry detergent & light groceries. The coffee, hot & ready made selections under the bright lamp was a favorite amongst my household, where it almost became addicting. I needed breakfast on the run & as healthy as passible, so I got a fresh apple, banana, OJ & Water for under $7. & of course, the friendly red shirted employees with their "Hellos & Have a Great Day" on cue when customers came & go. read more

After 18+ years of living in Midtown, there's finally a QuikTrip gas station near me. I'm a fan of QuikTrip, especially the newer stores like this one. Generally, QT gas stations are big, bright, and clean and they offer competitive prices for Top Tier Detergent Gasoline. The stores are stocked with yummy refreshments and they offer made-to-order food and drink (QT Kitchens). Customer service is typically much better at a QT when compared to the service received at other convenience stores. QT's employees seem relatively well-trained. QT is like the Chick-fil-A of the convenience store industry. This QT opened in March 2018 on Howell Mill Rd in between Defoor Ave and Chattahoochee Ave. If you're familiar with this neighborhood, you know Howell Mill and Chattahoochee can be a very busy intersection. That said, I don't think this was the best spot to place this QT. If traffic is bad, this location can be a pain to get to. Despite the Howell Mill address, you can only get in to and out of the property via Defoor or Chattahoochee (which makes sense - no way an entry/exit on congested Howell Mill would've worked). The immediate area is prone a lot of traffic congestion, more than the areas around most other QTs, so keep that in mind. The gas prices here are comparable to other QTs in metro Atlanta. In fact, I've seen gas prices at this QT that were lower than the prices at the QT near my workplace in Marietta (located outside the perimeter in Cobb County). I didn't expect that. There are 16 pumps at this station. Like all QTs, this one has a free air machine. In my experience, this is a busy QT so it's not uncommon for there to be a line to use the machine. read more

This is where I usually go for gas: close distance to me (even though traffic to get there could be horrendous), lots of pumps (half of them might be out of service) and conveniently located (in the midst of west midtown). Traffic to get here might be bad and pumps might not all work. But seriously, this is probably the cheapest gas around this area. I was glad that this opened up last year since I usually drive to the suburbs to get reasonably priced gas as I hate the small gas stations in Atlanta with the extra price per gallon. Upon me proceeding to pay I realized I left my drivers license home, but I had a government issued passport available and they still denied service. No Matter where you are in the city if you need a clean bathroom to use either QT or RaceTrac is your place. I recently volunteered to pick up someone coming into town from the Airport around 6:30pm....exactly I don't know what I was thinking...and of course there was about 3 accidents and a 20 minutes plus delay...and of course I had to use the loo so I decided to get off of 75 and take the side roads to by pass the accidents...unfortunately about 10,000 other people were thinking the same thing so according to Google Maps I could of just sat on the highway and the time would of been the same...but no, I had to improvise. Luckily this QT was here and it looked new or newer. Anyway, they had super clean restrooms and plenty of parking spots, was able to get out of traffic for a bit, duck in and then get right back on the super congested Howell Mill Road where I apparently got behind every single car that needed to make a left turn and of course no left turn arrow...I swear I have no idea how anyone gets anywhere in this city...that's why I live out in the sticks...we have left turn signals.... read more

Seriously...heaven! I didn't realize how much I loved QT until I moved back downtown, where there aren't any...until now! This QT just opened in March of 2018. It is the same as all others...16 gas pumps, friendly employees and every drink and/or snack you want, including beer! This location also has the "QT Kitchen" that serves up specialty coffees, pizza, pretzels, etc via touch screen order, but you can only do so from 6:00 am-10:00 pm. QuikTrip is usually a safe and clean establishment, but this location had some pep in its step. Plenty of parking, greeted immediately by friendly staff, plenty of snack selection, clean interior and exterior, and best of all it was a QUICK trip! Mmm, love seeing that red signage around these parts! (not looking at you, Midtown "snack stop" QT) I'm all about standalone, full-service QTs, so this is a breath of fresh air. Very easy to enter/exit location. Was this intentional or just a happy coincidence? Who knows, who cares when you have a new, non-disgusting gas station in town! It hits all of the QT hit notes: You've got the QT kitchen where you can get your custom-order eat on, sprawling beverage refrigerators nicely stocked up (particularly exciting news if you're a fan of Monster Energy... you'll have all flavors at your fingertips) or if you're all about that custom life, there's a foundation drink station ready to quench even the thirstiest of souls. The pastry selection is above average and fresh. The Guatemalan blend coffee (my personal fave) is usually plenty full and there's always Columbian blend... Quiktrip is like the chikfila of gas stations. No matter which one you go to your going to get nice courteous reaponse drom the workers while entering and exiting. They keep fresh food out and a enough different typea for everyone. They always make sure to ask if you need the receipt as well. So I decided to swing by QT(for the first time ever might I add) and it was the best decision I made today hands down. I've been hearing their ads on the radio for their pretzels and was craving one today. As soon as I entered I was immediately greeted by warm individuals all smiling and welcoming. They walked me through how to order my pretzel and even offered me a free fountain beverage when they thought they had me waiting too long! I didn't even realize how long I waited but the gesture was greatly appreciated. Will definitely be going back even if just to smell the pretzels cooking in the back lol. read more

The Customer service at this place is amazing to say the least, for it to be a gas station I'm at disbelief how I'm always treated with respect and greeted promptly. I would even go as far as saying the employee by the name of Brandy who I thought was the store manager is always pleasant and professional.
