He also takes the time to answer questions. He ensures that my charts are up to date and other doctors are listed to coordinate care. If I need to see a specialist, he gives me a list of people to call and a recommendation. I've also seen Patrick, the nutritionist, and he's been very helpful in getting me to eat better. I like that they offer multiple functions (physical care, nutrition, acupuncture) all under one roof. I highly recommend this clinic.

I ended up having to wait 2 hours because the receptionist refused to check me in. I wrote a review on their website stating only facts as I had never been so mistreated by any practice. On 5/30/25, I returned to see Dr. Stephanie Hinds for another appointment. I had received a text stating my appointment was at 10:00. I had documented in my calendar 10:30. I arrived promptly at 10 and at 10:50 I still had not been called back. I inquired as to why. I was kind. I am always kind. At 11:30 I was sitting in an exam room waiting be seen when the office manager came in and told me that she had witnesses stating I had been cursing and using the f word and they would no longer see me. I never ever talk like that. I was fired as their patient because I gave them a bad review at my first visit. I am 72 years old. I am a strong Christian retired RN. Never in my life have I been so mistreated by a practice. I have filed a complaint with both the BBB and with my private insurance company. I am absolutely devastated. I don't understand how they could just outright lie. I do not blame Dr. Hinds or Erika, her nurse. it was entirely the front office staff.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. They placed a knowingly recalled iud inside of me…read moreaccidentally, stating "we just walked into an office and grabbed one from a pile not realizing they were put out because of recall" . Then could not tell me why it was recalled but Google states because of uterine perforation. Whenever Dr. Raley called regarding the incident it was from a private number not clinic but my pcp only ever called from the clinic. They refused to work me in quickly to fix their mistake, scheduled me with providers I don't know without asking or telling me. Only offered to refer me out which "you know could take weeks" while a recalled device is inside of me. They also did not notify my pcp who was the one who set me up to get an iud. Procedure day, they try to play it off like I had the iud for a week then it was recalled which is not what I was told at all. Also, during the second procedure while I was undressed with my legs up, other providers and techs were coming in and out of the room so much so my fiance who was with me asked me after if that was normal. As an RN who also works in primary care, im just very appalled and have established care elsewhere. Everyone was nice but the professionalism and pt care is just not there.

The dispute was not with Vicki Cooke my former NP, she had never talked to me about it, she was out of town during this time.... I guess it's common practice now to have no say so about your care. Regardless, you discharged me as a patient, fine, I will go someplace else... My complaint, you sent out a certified letter in January, or you say you did, you wouldn't show me the receipts. I never received any letter, why would I have shown up for an appnt if I had received it. I had an appnt scheduled on 6/14 since my last appnt in December of 2017. I received a call to confirm my appointment, I asked to change the appnt to today's date. Yesterday I received a call to confirm my appointment. I came in for my appnt, I was asked to update paper work and then taken back to a room.... It was then I was finally approached about the letter that was "sent" out in January. Vicki Cooke would not even come and talk to me. I was humiliated and all of this was over a dispute with a very rude staff member about antibiotics for a sinus infection. Today I came in with a black eye and a hurt shoulder from a fall yesterday, I thought I was going to have it looked at. . I guess I need to find a new doctor to take a look at it.... My advice to the staff there, if you discharge someone as a patient make sure your staff and the patient knows about it. And to Vicki Cooke, I suggest you take the time to talk to your patients before you make rash, uninformed decisions. I'm truly baffled at this, all over antibiotics for a sinus infection.

I love the fact that whenever I schedule an appointment to see my doctor or for my son to see his doctor, appointments are scheduled in 1 HOUR Blocks. In other words, I have time to sit and chat with my doctor face to face regarding my health and all that concerns me. The same goes for my son's Pediatric Doctor. We are NOT RUSHED because the doctor must quickly move on to the next patient sitting in the next room! The doctors at Hitchcock Family Medicine actually take time to listen to your concerns. I've got to be honest, I am not a huge fan of pharmaceutical medications especially because of all the side effects that go along with them. My doctor is aware of this and so is my son's doctor; nevertheless, they practice medicine and care for our needs striking a comfortable balance between my faith and religious practices and conventional medical practice, never missing a beat to fulfill their medical oaths and responsibilities as doctors. I can be as open as I choose to be with our doctors in order to receive proper diagnoses, and the best recommendations and care and be comfortable with it. So I called Sunday evening and that's when I was told by another nurse that they don't make those phone calls on the weekends and they wouldn't be able to tell me until Monday at 1 PM. So it's 3 PM and I called now. Except now I'm told that the lab doesn't work on the weekends, I should not have been told that and even if the female answering the phone did have my results, she couldn't tell me what they were because they've switched systems and she can't get into her old system. But that didn't stop their Billing from calling me telling me that I owe them $26. Nice I have to return to work without knowing if I'm contagious.
