Yeah for Quickly. This is one of my favorite local Bay Area boba places. First got addicted to them from the one that opened next to San Jose State College. Now I can't stop whenever I see a Quickly, I have to stop my car and get their drinks. I like that this Quickly is close to the mall and my work. The location in South City sucks, because of the metered parking. Boo! If you come here, hello? Parking is FREE!!!!! And not that much further. The girl working the counters was super nice to me. Love our local Quickly! Been coming here for years. We had a favorite lady but looks like she does not work there anymore. Our go to snacks are popcorn chicken, takoyaki and cheese sticks. Our favorite drinks are the usual bubble milk tea, mango snow and lychee milk tea. read more

The customer service is terrible here. This particular woman was so rude to me and customers after me. Near the register, they have a rewards service where you "check in" with your phone number. I had received a reward of $2.50 off so I decided to give the menu another look over because I know the card minimum is 5 dollars. After deciding my order I had asked the lady at the register if she was able to see my reward on her system. She rudely yelled, "I GOT IT ALREADY!" In such an exasperated voice, as if I was asking a dumb question. After me, a family was trying to order and inquired if something was available on the menu she whined annoyedly and said "NO. I SAID WE DONT HAVE THAT IN RIGHT NOW." It's honestly appalling seeing someone dealing with customers upfront in this way. Came here got some popcorn chicken to go. As I was driving home I noticed there was soy sauce and rice mixed in the popcorn chicken. Some chicken was fresh and some was cold and soggy. I called and the guy who works there rudely said that the order was made incorrectly and that they just mixed chicken? He said it's "up to you if you want to believe it" and hung up on me. On this fine day on 11/16 @ 6 pm PST, the cashier that took my orders doesn't understand my drink order, as English language to challenge. I have no problem on it, but I have ordered a hot drink, but it was cold, and I have charged these purchases on CC. First of all, I have no idea. There is .50 cent difference, and I have no change except .20 cent. The Cashier had a blank face and said I have to pay the .50 cent. The notorious quickly Manager BEN DIU, who is probably very rude and yelling at me; it cost .50 cent; I was like I have .20 cent in cash, but transaction was charged, and I didn't know there was a difference. I don't have a problem finding a solution to the .50 cent situation, but he was rude and coarse in his language skill set, and I didn't appreciate to be treated with hostility attitude. He basicall charged my credit card for .50 and run it. I felt FLABBERGASTED by his level of customer service and rudeness and hiring a cashier whom doesn't grasps of English and makes mistakes all the time, but not understanding a hot and cold drink order and have a yelling session over .50 cent. He was reductants to give me his name and the owner of the store; his name is Chris. He didn't even know his last name and contact information. I ordered fried baby octopus and almost half of it was slimy. I was beyond disturbed and disgusted I had to keep spitting them out. They really need to cook their food all the way before serving it to the customers. Like what was the point of even ordering it if I was going to spit half of it out? This particular Quickly is one of my go-to places for boba-tea! The customer service is pleasant and gets the orders done fast but with nice quality. One thing that would be nice though is the fact that there are limited vegan options; I'm only able to order an arrangement of teas (about 1/6 of the menu). It would be nice if there were more options or substitutions in general considering not just more vegetarian & vegans in our community, but also how there are a lot more people whom are allergic or restricted from certain foods like dairy now a days :) Other than that, QUICKLY IS THE BEST!!! read more

3 stars for the extensive menu because I'm usually on the east bay and don't have italian sodas, different flavored egg puffs or musubis available. My strawberry milk tea tasted fine. The almond egg puffs didn't taste like almond. I would have rather had the original flavor. The service here is something I've never experienced at other locations. Everything is backwards. You order your food at the register but then you have to go out of the store to go around the line and pillar to complete the transaction on an ipad. The pick up sign is located right above the ipad, but they put orders on the counter where the register is. We waited maybe more than 30 minutes and wondered what gave so we asked the girl and she said she called our order 15 minutes ago. They don't call orders by name, but by item so if it's busy and someone else orders the same thing get ready to throw some bows. Jk. As busy as it was it was difficult to hear. This is quite possibly the worst Quickly's in the Bay Area. The employee in the morning/afternoon really hates her job and lets you know it. She'll unhappily take your order, unhappily make your drink, and then unhappily slam the drink(s) on the counter. Oh, one more thing, she'll take her sweet time to make the drink(s) too. I'm guessing she's the owner's daughter or something, being forced to help out. There's a different girl in the evenings (sometimes) who is a lot nicer. The last couple of times I went there in the afternoon (not my choice) I'll be standing in line to order and the employee will be hanging out in the kitchen area just standing there. I'm being nice and patient and just look in her direction. Eventually she'll notice that I'm standing there and come to the counter and ask "Oh... you want to order something?" in her unhappy-I-don't-want-to-be-here-at-all tone. I smile and order my drink, to which she goes through her unhappy to serve deal I mentioned earlier. Though for some mean reason when I order drinks without ice, they'll still put the ice in, measure the drink, and then pour the liquid into another cup sans ice.
