    popcorn chicken $9

This Quickly is not that busy. To use the self ordering tablet, there's a mandatory 10% tip. No biggie, but kinda of shady because I took my food to-go and did not eat there. So, popcorn chicken with tax and tip was $9.50.

I've had mostly good experiences here over the years. I generally make an effort to greet and be extra nice to service people, which you'd be surprised how often changes their attitude! **AMBIANCE** -They have a large TV with music videos playing constantly. It's generally pretty clean aside from boxes and deliveries they have received. They recently remodeled so it's still a little cluttered. Pre-COVID people and students would hang inside and do homework, play games, or just chat. **DRINKS** -They have an eclectic menu of Milk teas ($4.50), Slushes ($4.50), Fruit teas ($4.25), Smoothies ($4.99), Yogurt drinks ($3.99) and more! There are a ton of different flavor options you can get for most items. There is a huge list of toppings to add ($.75/ea), however they don't always have every one available. The drink prices listed are for the regular size, though they have a "Supersize" you can upgrade for +$1.50. They used to have more size options, however I believe they condensed to two with the remodel. **FOOD** -There are a bunch of (mostly unhealthy, but delicious) options. They have a lot of snack foods that are good in specific situations. Some of the favorites we like are the Popcorn Chicken ($7.99), Curly Fries ($5.99) & Waffle Fries ($5.99). They have other choices like Baby Octopus ($7.99), Pot Stickers ($5.99), Spam Musubi ($5.99) and more! -They also do rice bowls, ($7.99) with various types of chicken or Spam on top. -On their new menu, they have a Chicken Wing section that's "coming soon" with 8 different flavor options. -They have dessert options as well such as Mochi Waffles ($5.99) w/ choice of topping and Egg Puffs ($6.99) also coming soon. **SUMMARY** Overall this is a good spot to come if you want some quick (ha...see what I did there), relatively inexpensive and mostly delicious Boba drinks and snacks. It may not be the most fancy, but you know what to expect and the extensive menu along with reasonable prices keeps us coming back! Instagram: @BBNem.Food

I've been coming to this Quickly for several years, but since I've finally made it in post-remodel, it's time for a review! ~ Location, Ambiance and Service ~ They are located in the San Bruno Towne Center which is always fairly busy due to the mix of food, shopping and Bevmo. There are a few spots right out front, but you'll have better luck parking in the main lot. The remodel looks AMAZING! Everything seems really clean and refreshed with wood-paneling, TVs with the newly expanded menu--the whole place looks much more modern and upgraded. Over the last few years we've seen the same rotation of folks working there, but didn't recognize the people we saw recently. We had a couple of questions since we were changing our usual order, and service was fine--not overly friendly, but it's hard to read on people when we are all masked. ~ Food ~ Popcorn Chicken: This is one of my guilty pleasure snacks--salty, crispy, dark meat that is hot and delicious! Curly Fries: The fries are super seasoned and just the right balance of crispy and soft. ~ Drink ~ * Hokkaido Milk Tea (caramel): First time getting this and WOW! It's definitely sweeter than I would usually prefer, but this really hit the spot. Classic caramel taste; the boba was a little undercooked (?) in the center but was fine. * Wintermelon Tea (black tea): This is my go-to! Love the flavor; refreshing taste, and goes well with classic honey boba and popping boba as well. Great before or after a meal! Overall, Quickly is good if you're needing a quick boba fix and are in San Bruno. As mentioned, there are some shops (Lowe's, nail salon, Marshall's) so this is a great first stop before running errands or for a treat on the way home. Instagram: @waitingtoeat

Quickly is always a solid boba place. Pretty big menu with lots of options. Ordered on the kiosk thing and the wait wasn't too bad but a tad bit longer than expected. The drinks overall were good but very sweet, so I recommend getting half sweetness instead of full unless you want diabetes boba... but overall good value for the price :)

No option for Custom or 0 tip. They hid it beneath the blue Continue button so you can't even press it.
    Andy B.

They FORCE you to tip. The self serve kiosk that they have you use FORCES you to pick 10/15/20% tip. If you want to hit the "CUSTOM" tip to leave a different amount or 0, you can't. The Custom button is hidden underneath the "Continue" button. So you can't even access the the Custom button if you don't want to tip, or already left cash. So you're forced to take your own order, not get service, and then on top expected to leave a gratuity for doing that! Good boba and snacks tho!

It took us about 10 minutes just to put an order in on a Saturday afternoon. The cashier looked like she did not want to be there just asking customers "what do you want?" With no smile or any sort of acknowledgment while she was getting orders together in the back. Considering that there were only 2 people working there and she was doubling with making food in the back it definitely doesn't help her situation. They need to hire more folks on busy days like these. The room got to about 7 people long and there were lots of people waiting in line and only one person making drinks. The buzzer that indicates people coming in and out is broken because it kept ringing sporadically even though no one was coming in. Definitely an organizational issue. Despite those issues, her bad attitude was apparent. She didn't accept the $10 bill of someone ahead of us because it had a rip, but my partner purposefully took out a ripped bill that she accepted. But she proceeded to give him attitude for asking for 25% sugar, to which she said "we don't use sugar we use syrup" so we asked for 25% syrup but thought her response was off. She was very rude and there were 3 of us customers talking outside about how rude she just was to everyone. If they want to stay open, they are going to have to hire more hire more workers and train them to have a bit more courtesy. As for our slushy, it was not great. We won't be back.

I am so in love with the tea here, it tastes exactly the way I like it. I love how they use the teapresso machine to brew the tea leaves which makes the flavor stronger. Chicha San Chen is the super hyped bubble tea shop from Taiwan that's apparently won a bunch of tea…read morerelated accolades that I won't pretend to be remotely familiar with. Their ordering system is entirely via two kiosks, which can be annoying if the customers ahead are slow, ordering a bunch of drinks, or both. They really should have a policy for cashiers handling smaller orders (2-3 drinks or less) and forcing kiosks only for larger groups. The estimated wait times vary pretty wildly, so take their posted estimates with a grain of salt. It stated 15-20 minutes when I was there, but it took about 25 (and we were just the 2nd group in line, though there were clearly tons of queued orders already with people standing around or sitting waiting). When we finally got our drinks, the Classic Ding Dong Oolong Milk Tea and the Milk Tea with Taro Balls and Taro Paste, I was expecting really prominent tea flavor like you get from the best milk teas in Taiwan and HK, especially given their hand-brewing process for each cup (which partly explains why wait times balloon). Sadly, I got very little tea flavor from either drink. That said, the fresh taro paste and taro balls were very tasty, with the balls having fantastic QQ chewiness. Prices are a bit much though, at almost $10 for that drink alone. I honestly think they could cut costs on gimmicks like the rope carriers (cute for influencers, but pretty useless and likely jacks up the price for regular customers). One silver lining from the long wait is that we spilled over into a free tea tasting slot. Miranda was fantastic as our guide as she was super friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. She walked us through how their Lishan Oolong Tea (sold separately, not used for in-store drinks) is harvested and sun-baked into 5 different varietals, each with unique colors, aromas, and tastes (and following the sun both literally and figuratively in terms of names and descriptors). Overall, it's a fun experience if you enjoy that sort of thing (and your wait happens aligns with a tasting slot or you can always a reserve ahead of time as well), so 5 stars for Miranda and the tasting, but the actual milk teas were lacking and a disappointment given the hype, cost and wait.

I went for the Oreo Thai Iced Tea, which is exactly what it sounds like: Thai tea topped with Oreo crumbles. It wasn't bad at all, but I found the two flavors didn't quite complement each other as they kind of just coexisted in the same cup rather than coming together into something greater. I think blending everything together might actually unlock the combination better, so that could be worth trying if you're curious about this one. One thing to note: I ordered with regular ice, and since the tea itself is served warm at the base, the ice melted pretty quickly so my drink went lukewarm within about 10 minutes. If you're ordering something similar, I'd definitely recommend asking for extra ice to keep things cold longer. Overall, a good boba spot with a fun menu worth exploring. We were probably thirsty from our 2 1/2 hour drive from Monterey, grubbing on the rich and tasty food from Original Joe's, and walking around the bumping shopping center. Wifey is always in the mood for boba, coffee, or flavored tea. We turned to our trustworthy Yelp app and found Pit Stop Boba Shop. Pretty cool to find a boba shop inside a Arco gas station. Besides the uniqueness of its location, Pit Stop served arguably one of the most refreshing and tasty drinks we've had. I knocked it down to 4.5 stars because one of the gas pumps has a skimmer and I was alerted by my bank of a fraudulent charge. Buyer beware buying gas from this gas station. Pit Stop is on the corner of Gellert Blvd. and Westborough Blvd. It's across from another gas station that houses a Subway and Chase bank is across the way. If you're bewildered pulling into an Arco gas station to buy boba, you are not in the wrong location. Pit Stop shares the Arco convenience store where you would normally buy snacks, sodas, and candy, which you also could purchase. The convenience store and Pit Stop are independent businesses, so if you want a boba, you'll need to place your order at their register. Parking consists of what any gas station usually has, so we just parked at one of the gas pumps since we had to get gas. There aren't any tables to chillax and I'm sure most of their business is to go orders. The decor fits the gas station theme with its order counter looking like an industrial tool box, auto service ads plastered on the wall, and other knick knacks. The young lady behind the counter was friendly and got our drink order out pretty quickly. This would be a true statement for Pit Stop. I went to get gas, but came home with some boba. The menu consists of specialty drinks, instructions to make your own drink, and they also sell snacks. This was our first time visiting a boba shop hidden inside a gas station and you might be thinking there's no way quality drinks can come out of a gas station. I can assure you that you would be wrong. I highly recommend you order their #4 specialty drink, the TooTea FruiTea, because it was refreshing, sweet, and tasty. This drink comes with strawberry, peach, mango, organic green tea, and actual strawberry, mango, and pineapple bits. I really enjoyed the combination of the different fruit flavors and the chewy treats of the fruit pieces. My wife ordered their #2 specialty drink, the Lychee Peachberry, and just like me, she really enjoyed her drink. I would have never thought that a boba shop inside a gas station would serve memorable drinks. The Pit Stop Boba Shop is not only a memorable place, but it has drinks that makes it worthwhile for you to make a pit stop. Just make sure to check for any skimmers if you're buying gas at the Arco.
