Jesus from Quickfix responded to my project request quickly and provided his hourly labor quote. Though everyone else provided lower estimates for diagnosis his quick and concise response made me go with Quickfix. He was very friendly and professional. He arrived earlier than scheduled (communicated in advance) and was very accommodating with my schedule. It turns out I had another breaker box specifically for the EV setup that our solar company installed. Jesus checked the rest of our setup and verified that everything was properly wired. He explained to me how everything was routed, best practices for charging two EVs at a time, what we needed to do to upgrade our panel, including the approval required from Edison. Then he gave a substantial discount to his hourly rate since there was no work that needed doing. As a professional DJ, I understand and respect hourly rates even when nothing is done, so I really appreciate the discount, especially when Jesus made the most of our time with a thorough inspection and instruction for me. They set up a time that worked best for mine and their schedules. Our washing machine had stopped working and it appeared it was the outlet. We had Powell Electric come out for a free estimate and their prices were absolutely unaffordable and ridiculous. We were totally stressed out about it, but knew we had to get it done. Our house hasnt had any electrical remediation performed in 50 years and we were in need of alot of work here. Move existing 240v outlet approximately 30 feet from inside the house to outside. I started out with 6 quotes for this job. It was started and completed on Monday March 16, 2020. There was an $800 difference between the cheapest and most expensive quotes. QuickFix was not the cheapest but by far not the most expensive. Let me explain why I chose them. When Jesus came to quote the job he was on time and a generally nice person. What set him apart from other quotes was not only his knowledge and skill but how he applied them to give me the best outcome for my project.
