We had an electrical issue that three other electricians couldn't figure out, but Jesus was able to diagnose and fix it. He even took the time to explain what was going on, which was so helpful. We were having an electric issue at our home. Half the house would turn off here and there. I looked into three different companies and ended up going with Jesus at Jecor Electric. He was very chill and didn't seem to be pushy at all. I had one guy from another company do a lot of talking and another one do a song and dance but they didn't seem any more knowledgeable. And in fact they seemed to push for more work than necessary. Jesus was able to quickly get the replacement piece and was most reasonable with his pricing. He didn't try to scare me like the other two companies into upgrading my entire system or replacing extra parts that weren't necessary. He sent a different employee to do the work but came at the end to make sure everything was working properly. I had a question later that evening and he face-timed me to walk me through everything. On a Saturday afternoon, we had an electrical outage. I check with Edison just to find out that the electrical panel wasn't working and I should call an electrician, Jesus was the only one that responded right away, and said that he will arrive in less than an hour, he's knowledgeable, reliable and his quote is reasonable, told us the steps that needed to be taken in order to start upgrading the panel, mainly because one needs to get permit from the city and Edison needs to check the current location of the panel and meter and approve it, all this takes about 4 business days. He checked the breakers on the panel and found out the left side didn't have power due to a burned out cable, which is dangerous. He switched some of the breakers from the left over to the right because some on the right didn't have anything connected to it. That way, we were able to have power until we had the approval from the City and Edison so he could start working. We definitely will recommend him highly and will call him again for another project. It is a peace of mind knowing that he is a very responsible and conscious electrician. There are no words to thank enough Jesus and his team. Keep up the great work you are doing. I hired Jecor to put up my permanent Govee Christmas lights. He asked me where to put the lights and I said that I did not know where. He suggested where to put them and I agreed with his advice. I had not opened the boxes to the lights and it was not until he left that I read the instructions that say the lights need to be installed 2 to 4 inches from the wall and he installed them at least a foot away. Needless to say the lights do not look good and Jecor Electric is taking no responsibility for installing them incorrectly. He wants to charge me the full price to move them to the correct position. I would not have hired a "professional " if I could do them myself. I'm disappointed. Also a section is not working and I think he should have checked that before he left. We had a really food experience with Jesus, Eduardo, Samantha, and Jesus Jr! They were very communicative, punctual, and hard working. Jesus came to give us a free estimate for changing out a light fixture, the breaker box, and changing the outlets to 3-prong. They took two days to do the work, and final payment happens only after a passed inspection. We've had Jecor out three more times since our initial fan install. Today 3/1/23 Jesus and his son Jesus came out to our place for the first time and installed a light fixture and switch. The fixture in the garage, switch in the house. They also fixed a ground issue and cleaned up some dead wiring all in just a few hours. So we initially loved Jesus. I thought I had found my forever electrician. We had a great experience the first and second time when he did work for us in our condo. I really liked working with him because he's on time, clean and includes any patchwork in his pricing. Within about 5 weeks, we used his services 3 times. Booking was always easy and they communicated in my preferred message. An assistant named Allen took care of all of the scheduling and notifying me of pricing. I continued to inquire about pricing and scheduling with his assistant, Allen. Allen scheduled all 3 of my service appointments and gave me price quotes ahead of time. Scheduling the services continued to be very easy. By the 3rd visit, I was texting Allen about patchwork and I didn't get a response. Jesus was at my home and told me he'd call Allen. Jesus confirmed that Allen would come by in 2 days to complete the patchwork, no problem. I still didn't get a text back from Allen but everyone has been very reliable and on-time with their services. The night before Allen was scheduled to do patchwork, he texted me from a new number to confirm my appointment and let me know I had to pay $120 for the work. I questioned him about this new fee and he claimed that Jesus was supposed to tell me about it. This was very confusing to me since Allen had always given me the details on pricing. After more questioning, Allen told me that he and Jesus had parted ways. (Weird since he said they parted ways 2 weeks ago and I booked my appointment with Allen a week ago.). Allen says that his company (Nacho's Painting) has been very busy and most of their clientele in now in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. I don't know how any of that is remotely relevant but that was his story and rationale for the additional fee. I contacted Jesus to verify this new and never before heard of policy on patchwork. Jesus told me that I needed to pay Allen. The lack of communication was a big deal to me. The number one reason for having Jecor do my electrical work is the fact that patching was always included. It was one less thing I needed to worry about with my busy scheduling. Because my time is valuable, I paid the $120 and have decided to part ways with both companies. I need companies to be upfront with me. Update-Some new woman called me a couple days after this review went live and explained how sorry they were for the misunderstanding and they wanted to reimburse me. She called from the number I used to text to make appointments. I initially missed the call so I responded by text. It seems like the number is no longer monitored again. I haven't heard back after nearly 2 weeks. No reimbursement. I'm cutting my losses. read more

We bought the wrong plug cover and Jesus waited while we went to THREE different ACE stores trying to find the correct plug. I offered to reschedule but he stayed and did not charge extra! He sent Martin two days before to affix pendant fixtures for a move out and he was also punctual, polite, wonderful, professional and carried his ladder a half a block because of parking. I cannot recommend Jecor more highly! Where I live on the east coast, good electricians are a precious commodity and when someone has one, they only give the number to their friends. We have an old Craftsman house in the Mid-City area of L.A., and while there never are many built-in lighting fixtures in a Craftsman, ours started to falter one by one over the last year, and it was time to update our home lighting. We reached out to Jecor to install lights, switches and new outlet, and they were responsive, and made the process of coming by to make an estimate and scheduling the actual work a breeze. They quickly provided a very reasonable, written estimate by email, we decided what work we wanted to move forward with, and scheduled a day to do it.
