Rick was here at 8am the day after I called him about our garage door issue. We had a broken spring…read moreand a new opener that needed to be installed. First of all, I had searched for new springs and found that, along with other steel products, they were in short supply at the usual home improvement stores. Rick had the springs that we needed in stock. He worked diligently until the springs were installed, the new opener was installed, and everything was working well. He even programmed my wife's car to open the garage door with the push of a button. He actually tried to get the old opener to work in order to save us the cost of the new one and the installation. The old one turned out to be shot, so Rick installed the new one. We were very satisfied with Rick's services and are very happy to recommend him to anyone with garage door issues. As others have said, Rick is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, fairly-priced and an overall good guy.

WHY PGD HAS A REMARKABLE REPUTATION We wanted a Clopay door…read morebut had a specific design need that did not exist on the Clopay website. Fernando got us close. We signed a contract without complaint, but were not entirely enthusiastic about the solution. Two days later Fernando called back: he sensed we weren't 100% excited, kept searching, and worked with Clopay to get exactly what we'd hoped for, at $800 less. AFTER we'd signed a contract for the pretty good solution. WHO DOES THAT ANYMORE??? Then he found us an excellent carpenter for the prework -- BERTHA CONSTRUCTION--and installed the door beautifully. We just cannot say enough about PGD (and Bertha) and the quality of their work.

Despite having a very busy day (although he never said so), Kevin and his associate fit me into their schedule that day, came over around 1 p.m. and did an excellent job of assessing the situation, freeing my car, replacing the broken spring and then oiling up everything on the garage doors. They worked very deliberately and quickly, were very courteous and charged an extremely fair amount for the work done. I am extremely grateful for them coming out to my house so quickly and for doing terrific work at a great rate. I highly recommend Kevin and AllPhase. AllPhase combines quality, integrity and responsiveness....I can't say enough good things about my experience.

Kevin was on time and was so great to work with. We asked him to also put on a seal while he was here. He had no problem doing it for us, and the price was very reasonable. I am still in shock, in the best way possible. My garage door wouldn't close on sunny days and I…read moreassumed my sensors were old and needed replacing. I replaced the sender side myself, but the receiver side had a bolt that was completely stuck. I got a quote from a handyman for $400 and a second quote from a garage repair service for $350. I was hesitant to commit to either. Then Guy told me it was an easy fix, a five minute job, and he would do it free of charge. Just for the positive brand awareness. I honestly could not believe it. He said he would be at my house within an hour. Every word was true. He arrived in less than an hour, ready to work. What I have to share is that the job was far from simple. The nut was corroded and fused to the bolt. We tried impact drivers. We etched grooves for flathead and Phillips screwdrivers to get more torque. Nothing worked. Guy ended up removing the entire railing and used a Dremel to cut the bolt out. Sparks were literally flying as we cut through metal together. After getting everything cleared, Guy had a brilliant idea. He reversed the position of the sender and receiver so the signal unit would no longer sit at the angle of the sun and distort the signal. He swapped the units, reinstalled every component, and tested everything until it all worked perfectly. What was supposed to be a five minute job turned into over an hour of dedicated, problem solving work. Through all of it, Guy never once mentioned payment. He would not accept a single dollar from me. In a world where it is easy to feel skeptical, Guy reminded me that honest, sincere, and genuinely skilled people still exist. His integrity, his expertise, and his generosity left a lasting impression on me and my family. I will be referring his company to every single person in my network. Thank you, Guy. Truly and sincerely, thank you.

When tech arrived he said they didn't work on these old doors anymore and just replace them. Waste of my time and his. Update: The type of door (tilt-up) and the requested service (spring repair/replacement) were in the original request for quotes. Two other firms responded saying that they didn't work on those doors/didn't have parts to fix them. You didn't, so I assumed you were coming to estimate the cost of repair to a tilt-up door. I provided the picture later, yes, but only as supplemental info. The type of door and requested service was in the yelp request.

The night before, my other garage door (which had been "repaired" by another company a few months prior) also broke. Dave offered to look at both doors. The job ended up being much larger than we originally discussed. The prior repair by the other company wasn't done well. There were also loose parts on both doors, which was a surprise to us all. Dave and his coworker took care of everything! They even fixed the wall opener button, which I had not mentioned and did not ask for. I was so grateful! The most impressive thing was that, despite the scope of the job being much larger, Dave honored his original quoted price. It's so rare to find a knowledgeable, honest, and friendly contractors these days. I'll be a loyal customer of Dave's from now on! I've also referred him to my friends

He charged me one time and exhausted all the possible reasons to diagnose the issue. When the problem persisted after our original service call, Dave came at no extra charge with Jeremy to re-wire my entire garage. Ultimately this didn't work either meaning our garage motor was shot (which we wouldn't have known if Dave didn't have the patience to try all the methods of fixing it and seeing if the problem persisted). We selected a reasonably priced commercial grade garage door replacement and had Jeremy install it in one hour. They even credited me the cost of my initial service call toward my new garage motor. Incredible customer relations showing how much they care. Now our new garage has all the bells and whistles with a camera and mobile app. We love it! In summary; they are fast, responsive, fairly priced and good people. Don't look elsewhere for your garage service needs!
