They keep the other areas of my home clean, moved my furniture and put it back and even offered to put my pictures back up! Communications were clear from start to finish and they helped me with my homeowner's claim and follow up with the insurer to get maximum amount covered. They setup a ridiculous amount of equipment for a small leak. Just minimal monitoring, no other work. When asked to remove the equipment, they said that they would send someone out, but no one would show up. After repeated calls, they finally sent someone out about a week later. To my surprise, got billed for nearly $4000 for work that was never performed. On top of that, they repeatedly sent overdue payment notices and stated that a lien would be placed on the property and interest would be charged if I didn't pay. Stay away from this company at all cost, you have been warned. Save yourself the headaches and stress. Zero stars!

Communication was inconsistent at best and nonexistent when it actually mattered. Timelines were either ignored or constantly pushed back with little to no accountability. What was promised upfront did not align with what was delivered, and trying to get clear answers or resolution felt like chasing something intentionally out of reach. More concerning than delays was the lack of professionalism and ownership. Instead of addressing issues directly, there was a pattern of deflection and minimal effort to correct problems. When you're already dealing with a stressful situation that requires restoration services, the last thing you need is a company that adds to that stress rather than alleviating it. Additionally, there were serious concerns regarding billing practices. American Restoration billed insurance for work and materials that, to my knowledge and direct observation, were never completed or provided. When these discrepancies were raised, they were not meaningfully addressed. To conclude, every subcontractor used was incompetent and required multiple redo attempts. In several instances, I was left to either correct the work myself or accept substandard results just to move forward and avoid further delays and complications. Even more troubling, the project left lasting issues for my family and home that remain unresolved. When these concerns were brought forward, they were dismissed and attributed to "scope of work," rather than being properly evaluated and corrected. This is not a minor inconvenience type of review--this is a warning. If you value your time, your money, and your peace of mind, you should strongly consider going with literally anyone else. There are plenty of companies that will treat your situation with the urgency, transparency, and professionalism it deserves. This was not one of them. I would not recommend American Restoration under any circumstances.

I had to hound them for the estimate, when it came, it just said 51k and nothing else. No information about where the $50,000 is going, no hours or cost per hour, nothing. I received an estimate from another company for half the amount, with a breakdown of each room, service, hourly rate + tax. I can't believe STOP just sends you a random outrageous number with no explanation. Do people really pay this? Is this ethical business practice?! I really don't think so. Stay away from them!
