First time visiting this car wash. I really like certain aspects about it. The automated car wash seemed thorough and got my vehicle clean and dry on the outside. I love the free vacuums. Major suck! I would like to have a more open ended vacuum nozzle in addition to the narrow one. But overall vacuuming was made easy and it's free! It was also nice that I could vacuumFor as long as I needed to! The staff was exceptionally nice, kind, and helpful. My only drawback: I had to go to a different self service car wash to power spray my floor mats. Bummer. read more

If you would like your brand new just drove off the lot cars grill to be absolutely demolished, go no further than the Layton Quick Quack. My 2025 palisades grill needs to be repaired already after going to this wash. Looks like paint splattered over it due to all the chips and dings from their brushes. I have been a loyal customer for years and to have them come back and say those spots were there before arriving is not just a flat out lie but it is theft to make you pay a monthly membership and then also have to pay hundreds of dollars to personally fix an issue they themselves caused! 1 Star - Extremely Disappointed After 11 Years of Loyalty I've been a loyal Quick Quack Car Wash customer since I was 16 years old. For over a decade, I've trusted them with my vehicle, but after this recent experience, I'll never return and neither will my husband, who's been a customer since 2012. In short, their car wash damaged my vehicle twice. Between those two incidents, I visited a different car wash (Ultimate Express Car Wash), and there was no damage, proving the issue lies with Quick Quack--not the age of my car, which has been over five years old throughout. I've used plenty of car washes over the years and never once had a problem until those two specific visits. When I brought this to their attention, their response was a complete lack of accountability. No attempt to inspect the damage, no ownership, and no willingness to make it right. Their "policy" seemed more like a shield to avoid any responsibility, regardless of the facts presented. Accidents happen--I understand that. I like the idea of QQ, this location though is just terrible. I've had a QQ membership for years, and unfortunately this location is now my closest. I've gone where I sit in line 10ish cars deep on each side only to finally have them pulling cars to turn them away since it's broken. I've sat in the lines waiting for someone to finally come out after many minutes of waiting. I've been in the car wash multiple times that it suddenly shuts down while I'm in the wash. Today it happened 3 times in one wash. The crew is young, rude, dismissive and generally unpleasant. They clearly hate their job. With all the new car washes popping up in Davis county, I'll happily take my memberships with 4 cars so decent money and take it elsewhere for better service. read more

Horrible customer service. The car wash broke down and the bar fell down on our car and broke the window. We filed a claim and manager refused it based upon the "liability" clause you sign up for normal wash operation. This damage was due to the machine breaking and falling on the car, not normal operation. Tried to contact corporate office, and they would not help saying it us up to the local manager and then they would not give the local manager contact and advised to just stop by. Car wash is now broken until an estimated October 18 and no one is present to deal with. We understand issues happen and all we want is to replace the windshield which was broken due to faulty equipment; approximately $200. Now they have lost the 4-car monthly subscription ($80 per month) and we are going to small claims court. Not a smart move on their part. read more

It took 1 employee OVER 10 min to help one person as there was 6 cars waiting to get in. Of the course vehicle was in the members side, so NO ONE could get thru. When asked if there was anyone else that could come check people in the employee got attitude and replied "I'm sorry you have to wait a few min!" I moved recently and was sent a lovely welcome card that included a free wash or free month of service. I ultimately chose the free wash simply because I am currently borrowing my mother's car while mine is being fixed. Had I been driving my car, I would definitely have chosen the month service. I stopped in after a long days work and decided to add a little sparkle to my mom's Kia since I had dumped my coffee down the side that morning. When I drove up, I was immediately greeted and not questioned on my choice of the one free wash versus the months service which I really respected. It irks me when I get haggled on things like that. (I know it's their job, and I'd never ding a business rating for that reason, I just really respected him for it!) I was able to get in and out within a few minutes. My baby loved watching the soap and water cover the car, and it was nice to get an automatic wash after hand washing my cars for the last year and a half or so. There is a dryer at the end of the wash, but I would definitely recommend bringing a shammy just for the leftover drops. The car shined, and the coffee residue was no more! I loved the quick service because I was not in the mood to wash my car after the day I had. I know I'll be retuning for the monthly service after I get my car back! What a disappointment!!! Moved here 3 months ago and have been washing the car about every two weeks. I was thinking about getting a monthly pass ... so glad it didn't. After a trip the car was dirty, rain, bugs. The was quality has been going down so after the first wash I inspected it. Not good. Drove around and they immediately sent me through again. It was so bad they didn't even talk to me. Well the second time I tried to signal the prewash sprayer that he needed to do a better job. He acknowledged me but a poor job. The results weren't any better after the second wash. So I headed back for a third time. Well they said that they wouldn't give me a forth wash. I told them to get it clean this time then. They told me the car was clean. WHAT IT WAS CLEAN? They said it was bugs and this is as good as it gets. "If I want to get it clean I need to go to a manual wash". Manual wash? I guess they admit that a manual wash is better than their wash. I couldn't believe it. I told them they were going to lose me as a customer. They didn't care. The third time sleepy boy on the prewash was talked to and he spent a little more time washing. The third time it didn't look any better. Look at the pictures. This is what they told me my car was clean. The 100% clean car guarantee is only a slogan. They don't mean it. Don't waste your money. Go elsewhere. read more

This is where local Lexus and Toyota car owners wash their cars. The drive-thru car wash is fun for little kids with bright rollers, multi-colored foam soap, and lights. The kids are entertained and I get a clean car. That's a win-win. The car wash is average to others washes. Bring extra micro-fiber towels and tire shine for post-wash detailing. The free vacuums are nice. The two option of wide and narrow with high-pressure can get the In-n-Out fries that fell between the car seats. The half-eat kid snacks can easily be reached and removed with the good vacuums. The dog hair still remain stubbornly attaches to the floor mats. It is an average, quick car wash with good vacuums. A real fan of keeping my rig clean. Like that you can go to any Quik Quak with your monthly subscription. The vacuums are top notch and free with your payment. Employees are always ready to get you thru the wash. For the most part the wash does a good job cleaning off the road grime, I have noticed the front grill/bumper doesn't always get cleaned off that well. I always have to clean off the dead bugs myself. Wish they could figure out a way to clean this issue up. This location is a bit older. Maybe that's a reason. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!! Update: After they replied and tried to call me a liar I posted all the evidence and screenshots of all that I have had to go through on Facebook reviews. Feel free to to go check out their Facebook reviews to see all of that! On May 19 2022 I went and got a car wash at this location. During the car wash the front of my car was ruined. I immediately notified the operators. They found the badge and filed an incident report. They told me I would be contacted within 72 hours and that they "definitely" pay for the repairs. I heard nothing so I went back and asked about it. They proceeded to tell me that their manager is not working and that they would have them give me a call. For months I tried to go back to the location and all they said is they would have the manager call me. Corporate also would not help, and told me they contacted this location but the location is refusing to respond back to them as well. I finally reported them to the better business bureau. They finally responded back and said they wouldn't pay for damages because there must have been something wrong with my car. (Which seems to be a common saying for them upon further investigation). I proved to them that there was nothing wrong with my car. They responded and said they have tried to call me, I told the better business bureau that this is simply not true, and I gave quick quack my number and email again. That was nearly a month ago and I've heard nothing..... 3months later and they have done absolutely nothing and the manager never called. I recommend staying far away from this location and I will make sure this review is posted anywhere I can possibly post it, as I don't want this happening to anyone else. read more

There is something wrong with this carwash location. I have an ultimate car wash membership as there are many popping up in the state now and it's nice to be able to do a quick drive though. Unfortunately, this car wash is terrible. It does not clean well, leaves spots on the car, does not rinse all the soap off, leaves water on the car and half the vacuums don't work. Something needs to be done about this carwash. I see a lot of "100% clean guarantee!" responses from the owner. Are you going to hand wash my car? Cause your tunnel wash is TERRIBLE. read more

I have so many reasons why I love QQ, but the Layton location needs serious help. First, I love QQ generally. I think adding the orange towels was an amazing thing. I've been super impressed with EVERY location, except the Layton location. Unfortunately, that is my local and most convenient location. There are always issues. Today I spent over 35 minutes idling in line, waiting for my turn for the wash. The recently renovated wash did not clean the bugs or dirt from my car, and excessive soap was not rinsed off. I did not want to waste another half hour waiting in line for a rewash. Other consistent issues (which are not consistent at other locations): Employees look and act like they hate their job. The awesome new towels are never available. Vacuums seldom work. Air blowers don't have much air pressure. The place is filthy (trash, grime, etc.), compared with other locations. Recently, I almost rear-ended a rookie customer in front of me in the wash because it was not explained to keep you foot off the brake. This instruction is carefully done at all other QQ locations, but is overlooked more often than not at the Layton QQ. Whoever is in charge of overseeing QQ quality and consistency, please micromanage the Layton QQ location for a while. They need serious help and have been struggling for a long time. Or, better yet, open more locations in the area so there will be other more convenient location options. read more

Tried this car wash for the first time today. Not impressed. My car wasn't too dirty to begin with but we wanted to get the dirt from the storms last week sprayed off. As soon as we came out of the tunnel we could see the windshield still had dirt and bugs on it. When we got out we saw that the entire car still was just as dirty as it was before the carwash. I went to this location on 3/18/21 because it was close to my job. I will never use this car wash again this is my second time at this location and I'm far from impressed. I'm driving through the wash and the kid was supposed to be directing me, but was so focused on his phone it was unreal. I found rear windshield wiper was broken off from the rotator on 11/29/22. I spoke with Noah, the employee and he brought the broken wiper out. I said I wanted to claim the damage. He said I could get a qoute and if it were expensive, I could claime later. Initially, I thought it would be just wiper change and no big deal, but ended up costing almost $100 because the rotator piece needed to be replaced. I called the customer service and asked if I could claim on line. The customer representative was a guy and he wasn't much helpful and unpleasant. All he said was that I needed to go back to the location and fill out the form. I had my husband to do for me the next day and he said they would email us the confirmation of the claim, but we haven't heard since then. The othe day, I followed up with Gabe at the location and told him that it has been over 3 months since we filed the claim, but haven't received any confirmation email from them. He look into my claim and said it's still in the process. He said that numbers of claim ahead of me and bigger money of claims would be reviewed first. So, he wouldn't know when they would get into my claim. He said it could be months or years and then he offered the cancellation of unlimited membership. Is that how the customer service works! Whenever complaints or claims occur, just offer cancellation and that's it! We requested to cancel the membership and they wouldn't refund, but we just wait for the month to end. Saw it in passing and decided to get a car wash. Bad idea. I got the most expensive wash with the tire shine. And as I was vacuuming my car out I noticed my wheels were not clean. They are standard Kia flat faced wheels. I told the attendant and he said okay no worries drive it through again. So I do. Well the black haired woman attendant spraying the big cleaner stuff starts saying his wheels aren't even dirty. What the hell is he even doing? So I roll my window down and say excuse me? If I could give negative stars, I would! I use this car wash on occasion and it is fine. My issue is that a year ago they began auto withdrawing $20 from my checking account for some unlimited wash plan. I never signed up for or agreed to this. I realized it recently when I reviewed a bank statement and called customer service and also did an online chat with customer service. I requested a refund. They admitted that in my account history there are no car washes recorded. They showed me a signature that was not mine. They have refused to refund my money for the year they were withdrawing $20 a month without my permission. Neither employee would escalate my complaint and when I asked to speak to a manager they both stated that they were "the highest" person to talk to. I will continue to try to get my money back from this dishonest business - but don't have high hopes. Hopefully my review will prevent others from doing business with them. read more

I had gone through the quick quack in the Layton facility. When loaded into the car wash, I asked the attendant if I was in there correctly it was just something I had a gut feeling about. He stated yes. Continue to go through the wash, halfway through my car jumped the track and ran into one of the poles in the arches that go over the car wash inside. My hands were not on the wheel. I honked my horn to have them stop the car wash, obviously they weren't aware of what was going on in that moment, maybe more employees that were trained and possibly older to always notice where your car is a much better process. The attendant then told me to turn my wheel to get onto the track, I did this after having my passenger on the side where my car was hit, get out and check for damage. Yep there was damage to my right front fender, the damage went right down to the metal. So after I finally got through the car wash they had me continue to where the vacuums are to go to the office. The attendant came out and asked me to fill out a form showing where the damage was. Of course my phone was dead. The attendant then took a picture of the damage and I made him send it to me on his phone. I did get it the picture and it was obvious there was damage. I was advised that the manager of the store would be contacting me in the next 24 hours, I then contacted the quick quack corporate office to put in a claim. Of course I did not have the claim form because I was never given it and so they would not give me any information, which I understand. I then went to the car wash to talk to the manager because he had not called me yet. Before anything he said it was not their fault it was my fault. My passenger in the car that was with me in the car wash, stated that they were a witness and my hands were not on the wheel. As a matter of fact through the rest of the car wash me and my passenger held our hands up. He then continued to show me a video of 4 split screens showing videos a part of my car wash. Funny how there were missing videos, so I was not able to see exactly where my car had hit the pole. They sure had a video of my car jumping the track and also stated my hands were not showing and said the only time this has happened is when there was a three-year-old sitting on the driver's lap. I told him I was going to call the corporate office and put in the claim, He then continued to tell me that it was a waste of my time because all they will do is get back to him and he will deny the claim. So now I have a very scratched vehicle. Mind you it is an Audi, that is going to cost a ton to repaint. I don't want to take the damage through my insurance company because it's just going to make my have a higher premium. For a no-touch car wash, it was pretty good. Although I paid for the most expensive package which was to be able to clean everything on my car. I went for the Protect Package. It didn't protect much because after closer inspection after the wash, There were a lot of parts that was missed. During the car wash, the machines clipped my side mirrors and knocked them out of place. Although it was as easy as popping back in to place, I still didn't like what it did. On closer inspection of my wheels, It just cleaned the outer part of the wheel, and not the whole thing, and there was residue on the tire itself. The jet air did most of the job, but in the end, I still had to use the air compressor and air out the rest of my car. Im definitely not happy with the service, and I will not be coming back. read more

Just dropped $500 getting the damage to my car fixed from this place. Of course I can't "prove" it, but it's the only place this could've happened. Every time I went through it would bend my license plate almost in half and violently move my side mirrors back and forth.
