Lake Houston Tire - NO MATTER WHAT YOU DRIVE...

    Lake Houston Tire

Lake Houston Tire is owned by Rick and you couldn't ask for better service! I have bought tires,…read morebrakes, and oil changes! Miguel, Wes, and Felipe are awesome employees and they give very personable service. I was sold on this business when I went to purchase 4 tires and they insisted I only needed 2! Honesty is rare these days!

I hate leaving not so good reviews but maybe this will help for better business. I asked by husband…read moreto bring my car here to replace my tires. He spent $106.00 (because he was told this was the "going rate" and it's better to have a "professional" install them), 1.5 hours waiting (while being the ONLY customer there), and said he will never go there again. I have a 19″ rims, front 8.5″ width; and rear 9″ width, The rear is .5" bigger. I had already purchased my tires from TireRack so he brought those in. I bought Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position tires, 245/40R-19 (front), and 275/35R-19 (rear). My husband paid, left, and pulled right back up. They put a rear tire in the front and a front tire in the rear. The first response should be, "I'm so sorry, let me fix that!" No. It was "What do you mean? How do you know?!" Because it's rubbing and because the tires are clearly marked. I didn't think this was complicated for a tire shop to manage. I don't even care that they took forever to get this done, nor do I care that they left my tires full of that grease (though I wish they cleaned up their mess a bit). I would appreciate a little more attention to detail to put my tires on correctly.

    Kenneth's Car Care

Look No Further, Go to Kenneth's! If you've been going to the dealership, STOP!! Here's why…read more Today I came in stressed. My 2013 VW Beetle Convertible had what looked like a serious window leak during a massive rainstorm and on top of that my brake light was out. The dealership couldn't even see me until Thursday! (Today is Monday). Grayson got me in today. He and his master mechanic Tommy personally took a hose to my car to diagnose the leak with no runaround. As it turns out, it wasn't the catastrophic leak I feared. At the same time, Tommy replaced my brake light quickly and efficiently. And, Grayson took great care of me- without a doubt amazing and straight up outstanding customer service. All my problems are resolved. Whew!!!! These guys are honest, knowledgeable, and they actually care. And to top it off, Grayson even identified the likely cause of my heat issue that the dealership wanted to fix the expensive way. All through a quick conversation and review of my car's issues. I'll be bringing my car back to fix that in a few weeks. Kenneth's Car Care has earned all my future business for brakes, heat, oil changes, and more. Don't waste your time and money at the dealership or another repair shop. Come here first. You will be glad you did.

This is probably the worse shop in Kingwood for body work. Customer beware. If I give them credit…read morefor anything positive, the paint looks pretty good on my car. Other than that they totally failed. The day the car was towed in I met with a service tec who told me they would start tearing down the truck the next day to do an estimate. After 2 weeks of hearing nothing I called. I was told my service tech no longer worked there. I told the lady on the phone, "that's your problem not mine." So then I got a new service tech who repeatedly mislead me, missed deadlines, never retuned calls. What's more, I told him I had an aftermarket grill panel and was told that State Farm would only pay for Ford stock items. So I told him, I had the original chrome Ford grill out in my garage and they could use that one and I dropped it off. He asked if they should compare my old grill to the one they were ordering from a used parts house and I said NO. When I came to finally pick up my truck they had used the new used grill anyway. The cost was only $288, and since I had waited 6 weeks for my truck I just decided to take it anyway. Then a few days later I get a final estimate from State Farm and that $288 grill now cost $950!!!!!! Are you kidding me? It's plastic and I plan to remove it anyway and replace with the aftermarket grill. So State Farm is the one being ripped off. Maybe I should just let it go but it galls me that they would rip everyone off at the last minute. My final bill went up $2000! That is just criminal. I have no idea if a guy named Kenneth still owns the place but if he does, he must own a mansion and have membership at Kingwood Country Club with all the scammed money he has made. 1 star is the lowest and that is what Kenneth's gets. Caveat Emptor, Buyer Beware!
