Needless to say, I was on Yelp finding someone else for a 2nd opinion. Jennifer at Metz called me and messaged me right away to view video footage and get something scheduled. I was able to call, text, and email her as often or as little as I needed to and ALWAYS received a response. The communication was exceptional from start to finish. Someone came out that same week to take a look and give out a timely estimate. This company does offer financing, although we did not use it. The quote was less than half of what the other company had quoted us. We got a straight forward diagnosis, with honest pricing, and reliable service. The team came out on the day they were scheduled at the time they were scheduled. They were able to complete our project in only 2 days. Extremely efficient, and walked my husband through what they were doing and put us at ease with what still needed to be done. The pictures and reviews from myself and everyone else speaks for themselves. While I hope to never need more restorative services on my property (LOL), if I ever did, I would 10,000% use Metz again. Approximately 10 feet of piping was retaining raw sewage. The findings were professionally documented with measurements, photographs, and video. The defective installation had to be removed and replaced. What disappointed me most wasn't the mistakes themselves, but McVay's response. I contacted them immediately, but it took several days to receive a callback. With 50 feet of open trench inside my home, waiting indefinitely wasn't an option, so the other company documented the problems and completed the repairs. When presented with the evidence, McVay denied warranty coverage because they hadn't inspected the work themselves, relying instead on a county inspection that had previously approved the installation. Despite the detailed documentation, there was no offer to visit, meaningfully investigate, or even express concern. I wasn't seeking compensation. The repairs were completed at no additional cost to me. I simply expected some accountability. **Mistakes happen. How a company handles them says everything about its integrity.** I would never hire McVay again.

I was afraid it was the one he fixed, so I called him. It was not. He told me what he was going to do. I thought I was going to have a heart attack when he told me what it would cost. I told him it was way too much, so he started telling me how much the parts were. He lied. I looked up the parts online, and they cost about 1/3 of what he told me. I definitely don't recommend him. He lied and tried to take advantage of me.

Saturday noon, he started working and asked for a 50% down payment which we delivered quickly. I told him the remaining balance will be sent after the work is done and tested. After 2-3 hrs he said it's finished and he wants his remaining money. I told him It has to be tested before sending the remaining balance. That's where he goes crazy, cursing out like an immature person. When we tested the following day Sunday around 10:00 AM, it was worse than before he fixed it. I told him the problem is not fixed, we can't send the rest of the money if the issue is not fixed. We had back and forth text and conversation and he agreed to come back. He came back late Sunday around 5:00 PM, both tenants on the 2nd and 3rd floor think the issue is fixed. Better be fixed after all the BS experience. Based on experience I DON'T recommend this person (Darren). He is unprofessional, unethical and he acts like an immature person.
