This is a nice store. There is a quick check express across the street, but they are not open 24…read morehours a day. This is the larger store, and it is. It is very clean inside. They have a large number of gas pumps, and the gas prices are reasonable, They have everything you need from food, snacks, other food items, and sundries, if you are in a pinch, they even sell cell phone cables. They have milk, beer , alcoholic hard sodas and teas, as well as sodas and other nonalcoholic drinks. I really like the "liquid death" flavored sparkling water. They come in some great flavors, with clever names.. They also have hot food, an espresso/coffee bar, and even a sandwich shop. The espresso bar and the sandwich shop are not open 24 hours, though . They also have an ATM that does not charge a surcharge. The only thing you would pay is whatever your bank charges you to not use one of their ATMs. If you get a quick check card, you can get some very good deals when your shop. All you do is swipe your card or punch in your phone number. Most of the time, the employees are very friendly, once in a while, you get somebody who is a little bit grumpy, but hey, everybody has a bad day. Be aware, that if you want a bag, you have to pay $.50 for one of their cloth bags. Yes, they are reusable, but I have so many of those darn things, I could open up my own grocery store. Overall, it's a good store. I wish they had them in California, where I live. I will I will always stop by when I am in town.

So creamy. So cold. The diversity of flavor is truly relaxing to eat. Jessica was our cashier and she gave us great thick ice cream samples. Solid bites. I've never been served bigger portions, which is so cool. We tried a handful of flavors and she was so warm and friendly to talk to you. I also got the chocolate milk, peanut butter. It's not my favorite, and I feel like the peanut butter doesn't do anything to add to the chocolate milk. So I would not recommend the peanut butter. Jessica told us that their dairy is sourced from the local dairy farm that is awarded every year. They know their stuff!

It's a super busy shop with wild eyed, sweet, knowledgeable girls behind the counters. They sell all the New York perks: coffee, hot dogs, chips, ice cream, burgers, soda. Really, it's a one stop for anything in your kitchen, garage, garden and grill, too. Though Stewart's is usually routine for everyone in this state. This brick shop is colorful, well placed (I highly recommend King's Pizza restaurant across the street!), lit up and the shop keepers take their time to color the placards, ads, prices, signs, holiday festivities and notes. I was charged $125 and 00 cents at the Lucas Ave Stewart's shop which I did not spend. I got gas,…read moremilk and some candy that equaled to $43.26. When I went to pay for it my card was decline. I called my bank and that's when they said there's a hold for $125.00 which was spent at the Lucas Ave Stewart shop the same date and time I was there. They asked me to try to resolve it with Stewart's before I put in an official claim. So I called and "tried" to speak to a manager. She was borderline yelling and talking over me, wouldn't really let me finish a sentence, saying " No one spent $125 here I was here all day." She wouldn't do anything except yell at me apparently. So I put in a claim with my bank and waiting for that to go through. Moral of the story: I no longer trust Stewart's on Lucas Ave because there is no clarity as to what happened to the $125.00. It's too bad because I've been a customer there for 20+ years. Never again!

This Mobil is a veritable chaos of action and nobody seems to know if there's even a "line". Customers place wet bags of ice on the counters. People knocking each other over. The other day (Thursday) after coming back from an Uber run as an Uber driver, I ended up stopping…read morehere to get some gas using my GasBuddy card, and although my GasBuddy card only works outside, I could find few problems with my transaction. Things were clean, though there were no other cars filling up alongside me. I can't even say it's a problem of mine, but I never did know that Citgo has their own gas-savings/rewards card out there. I saw an application to fill out for this card at the pumps, but I had my own form of gas-saving/rewards card with GasBuddy that I was dealing with. I just wish it wouldn't be geared towards those with insertable cards to start it off, as I bet my other brother has a card already and was hoping you'd have a way to enter a phone number or similar at the pumps to get the same discount. I'm thankful I don't have to go through all that rigmarole with GasBuddy at my side. I can't stand always saying what seems to be the same thing in all my gas reviews. But when you figure in all the possible places with only pay-at-the-pump conditions, you get the picture that I have few other choices to choose from in what to say. But it hasn't been just me that has stopped in. My brother also stops in on occasion - though his experiences are sparse and outdated, and besides they are his spot to get a short car-wash which is also present on site. (This experience I can't back up, as I myself have never used this location's wash, as I find better prices and services elsewhere that make this car wash unnecessary and pricey.)

But everytime I stop in here, I'm always puzzled as to why it's so dirty and attracts so many poor street-people to "garbage-shop"(if that's really what it can be called)? I use pay-at-the-pump every time I come here with my GasBuddy card, and it seems like every time I come here, there are other street-walkers who come and pick through the garbage bins outside near the pumps. I seem to catch a glimpse of the garbage buckets (but never look through their contents), and they are always filled up with garbage along with many five-cent deposit bottles.(One time, I looked and it had over 4-five cent deposit bottles right off the top of it.) But that's not the way it is inside. I know it's small, but the employees are nice. I rarely have to go in and make a purchase, but there have been a few times I stepped inside. I was depressed once at the line, but that's a long story over that experience: and something that wasn't even my fault either but I wish not to explain it here. The store handled it to the best of their abilities, but it was just weird what happened. This location isn't in the best part of town, but it is on a main route (Broadway) (and near a secondary main route (Delaware Ave) that can be seen from this location). I do shop here, but not all that often; if I'm in town, I'd shop more at the Foxhall Ave location than here in the future, but only shop here if I'm in desperate need.

As long as the place is semi-clean, the staff isn't rude, I'm pretty much good. Oh, and there's one other thing... The windshield washer fluid and squeegee situation at the pumps. I hate when there's no washer fluid. I hate when there hasn't been washed or fluid for days and there's cobwebs holding the squeegee in the reservoir. Typically when I pull into a convenience store the first thing I check is the washer fluid because that's the first thing I do.. if there isn't any, I go somewhere else. If there is I wash my windshield I fill up with gasoline and I typically go inside and buy some snacks. I'm guessing you can judge by the number of stars I just left, that this particular location doesn't have any.

To top it off; the owner's family came in, made everyone wait, AND flopped his open-toe sandals on the counter where people put their food. I left my purchases right there - and left.
