As part of my ongoing in-depth analysis of all the local convenience store chains I've discovered the sad harsh reality that not all Quick Chek stores are created equal and although this one here in Cedar Knolls has all the conveniences that alot of the other ones have, for some "strange" reason their Gas prices are alot more expensive than most of the other local stores in the area.    And so it stands to reason that The Higher the Gas prices the Lower the Rating this place is ever gonna get outta me.    In conclusion this particular store only gets 3 Stars which just happens to be for their made to order Breakfast which is served all day long and that Freshly Brewed Coffee which definitely hit the spot. Nothing More, Nothing Less And That's the Name of that Tune. read more

Convenient QC with gas. While I am filling up the tank I can run inside (I know I am one of those) and grab a coffee. Very roomy inside with all your QC fixins. Their made to order area is always bustling but it seems as though they get the orders out quickly. Their premade sandwiches and salad look fresh but I haven't tried them. Their coffee is always fresh and I especially like I can make them on my own. Yummy flavored selection (Kris Kringle is the best). Their prices have gone up but it's to be expected. Definitely my go to coffee spot in the area. read more

Gas here isn't as cheap as the one over in Whippany but the same foods and soda and coffee inside the shop like others. Friendly staffer but they don't make any effort to keep people separate, the checkout registers aren't every other, they are side by side. Free air is nice for the tires. read more

Avoid... wait times are out of this world, it's extremely busy, and poorly managed. Parking lot is an accident waiting to happen. Gas tenants are typically nice and okay for the most part. However, coming here for a sandwich in the afternoon, you'll be waiting for almost a half hour, I swear the girl behind the counter was playing with the plastic containers and opening/closing ovens that had no food in them instead of making the orders. Nobody here to assist you if you needed help, night staff acts like they are from another planet... other better Quick Chek's in the surrounding area!! read more

No STARS!!! I ordered tuna salad. Yes. I got it. I ordered olives, tomatoes, and pickles on it. I got greens and cucumber. This is not the first time!!!!!! ALWEYS check your order. What surprise me is that I went there at 3 am after my work. Yes 3 AM!!!!!!!! Nobody there and still they cannot read the order!!!!!!!!! Convenient 24 open but this was my last time!!!!!! In recent years several new Quick Chek stores have popped up in Morris County. This is one of them. It is clean, with a varied selection of items you might need on short notice and the prices are not terrible although not what you would find at a large supermarket. Like most Quick Cheks in the area they sell gas. While not the lowest I can find the cash and credit price is the same, which is uncommon. The attendants do a good job of moving customers to and away from the pumps. Quick Chek is also a place where you may stop in for gas and also pick up something for breakfast or lunch. I have not had a breakfast item however the soups and sandwiches for lunch are freshly made while you wait and very good. If you are in a rush there is a decent selection of pre-made items that you can either heat in the microwave or just take as is and be on your way. read more

I don't usually post reviews. I gave this QuickChek one last try. I've had issues in past. I've seen customers with no masks. And their sandwich making quality is horrible. And don't get me started on their mobile ordering. They usually forget to make my sandwich. Or it's on the shelve as I stare at it waiting for an employee to arrive to give it to me. I've thought about walking behind the counter many times. I would give less then one star if I could. So nope. Never coming to this QuickChek again. I'll stick with the one in Hannover. read more

Rude and slow workers. If you enjoy pulling up and waiting while watching other cars pull up AFTER you and get serviced BEFORE you, then this craphole of a gas station is for you. On top of that they're ALWAYS miserable and rude. I'm going to the Sunoco across the street from now on. read more

I am highly upset with this store. I go to this quick check and the one down the street all the time but this one ALWAYS messes up my sandwich order. The only reason I go back is because of Heather the gas attendant. So friendly and always has a smile on her face. Unlike some of the people inside. I did call to complain about my sandwich but I was told there was NO manager on duty. Which surprised me since it was lunch time on a Wednesday. Will not be going back for food again any time soon. read more

Came to this specific Quick Chek for the free air machine. Needless to say, it's broken. I went inside to tell an employee who said they would pass the info on to the manager. Not sure they did or will since I left right after. I ended up going to another gas station where I had to pay with quarters, but hey, at least it worked! read more

Not sure what some are giving bad ratings for , gas prices are what they are and dont have to be the same as other stores , no free air ?? ok its what 50 cents . I have no issues at all gas attendants are the best and seem all to work together , deli is average not great but good. If you cant even use a register to scan you stuff yourself well hmmmmm. Don't buy gas here! My last two visits: (1) I order regular, they give me premium. When I look at the receipt and notice this (after I've left), they offer to give me a gift card for the difference. Which I had to come to the store to get, and wait for a half hour while they figured out what a safe was and how to get the gift card out of it. And now I have to carry around this stupid gift card until I'm passing QuickChek and want coffee or something. (2) I buy gas and look at the receipt when I get home. It's not for my purchase, and it's not even for the same time of day. Is this credit card fraud, or just complete and utter incompetence? Now I have to stress out and watch my account for a few weeks to be sure it's not some new kind of fraud. I'm done with this location. Maybe I'm done with QuickChek in general. read more

I'd skip this one. The breakfast sandwiches and the coffee are terrible. Watch if you have ti use a charge card, you don't get a receipt. I was charge twice in my charge card and the as red like a crook on $7.00 when I called the assistant manager to tell him what happened. I called my credit card company so it will be taken care off. Was really great the first couple months they were open--but slowly going into the QC slide. Icee machines have been messed up for several weeks. Straws not stocked. Floors dirty... they keep one person on duty front of store and they can't keep up with the volume of customers. Big disappointment. read more

I'm no conspiracy theorist but I'm almost certain this place is a black ops research facility for slowing time. All one has to do is walk in the front door and pow! Time slows! The employees are slighter faster then a 90 year old sloth. I order a sandwich, do some shopping for things that will give me diabetes then pay for my items. I then walk over to the deli/sandwich engineering station where I'm completely ignored by two, three actually all 4 of the visible employees in the store. This is where the actual physics research must be done obviously. Almost 15 minutes later my sandwich comes out of the hyper toaster and is laid to rest on the counter beside it. At this time I need to go and really can't wait any longer. I ask politely if my sandwich is ready and get a response of "its next". Because of a time sensitive matter regarding my employment I could not wait any longer then the almost 20 minutes I had already waited. I told the young sandwich engineer behind the counter that I had to leave now and would be back to pick up my sandwich shortly. It was at that time that the assistant engineer spoke up and said that the main sandwich engineer was wrapping my sandwich at that very moment. I was ecstatic until I looked directly in front of me and watched said sandwich engineer walk away from my sandwich (almost like repelling magnetic fields). I once again spoke up and pointed out my lonely sandwich laying next to the hyper toaster. I received a question in reply "you just wanted the meat on the sandwich?"... Now I actually wanted a completed sandwich but since this is a research facility I chocked it up to science and accepted my partially engineered concoction. I then quickly removed myself from this facility carrying a warmed meat sandwich consisting of a few slices of poultry and cheese. Kidding aside, this place has to be one of the worst QuickCheck stores on this side of the Milky Way. read more
