This place has been a go-to neighborhood deli for years, and it's easy to see why. It's a quaint spot that's built its reputation on consistently fresh, high-quality sandwiches and genuinely great service. People in town don't just like it, they respect it. It's one of those places locals will recommend without hesitation, and once you go, you get it. This is a small, classic deli where you order, grab your food, and go. Honestly, that's part of the charm. It feels authentic in the best way possible. Just a solid, well-run spot that focuses on doing one thing really well: making incredible sandwiches. Everything tastes fresh, the portions are generous, and the quality is exactly what you want from a true Jersey deli. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Places like this are getting harder to find, and Longfellow's has managed to stay a staple in the Morristown community for a reason. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's 100% worth the stop.

The egg, cheese, tomato and Taylor Ham on a whole wheat everything bagel was downright delicious and a great breakfast option. My wife went with a ham, egg, tomato and cheese on a salt bagel and equally loved her sandwich while both kids went with a French toast bagel with plain cream cheese. Every one loved their bagels which were expertly cooked and bursting with flavor. The homemade muffins looked really good, as well, and the menu board has a ton of sandwich options available for both breakfast and lunch. The counter staff was helpful and friendly and the food was ready in a very reasonable amount of time. Great spot certainly worth checking out!

My stepson had the #2 with provolone added and I had a Hot Pastrami. First off, the half size of the subs is huge. His turkey sandwich looked like it could feed 2 people. My pastrami on rye was delicious! The meat was very tender with no fat. The prices here are fantastic and the quality of the food is high.
