I am a single older woman with little homeownership experience who needed to be able to trust the people willing to fix my home. I had a leaky roof three years ago with attic water damage in my bathroom ceiling. After thoroughly investigating my attic, Pete took the time to explain to me about my attic situation and the little mold that was there, and then discuss my options, giving pros and cons for each way I could proceed. No hard sell. Just down to earth procedures and recommendations. I was able to make an informed decision about how to proceed. Fixing the damage will be a very small job and Pete gave me the name of another reliable company that could handle it well. He wouldn't even charge me for the assessment though I would have been delighted to pay for their time and expertise! A very positive experience.

Will NEVER hire Quest again . Jeff the "project manager" took the job of getting water out of my…read morebasement when in fact, they didn't have enough pumps available. He promised that he would be able to salvage my new carpet and when they failed. Jeff refused his crew to remove it days later after mold and mildew smell started in. My insurance agent said the carpet was unsalvagable and to remove it. QUEST refused to do so and when confronted how inadequate of a job they did, Quest notified their lawyers to harasse me for full payment of 6,500.00! In the lawyers letter, Jeff made false statements. When I contacted the lawyer to speak with the owners of Quest, they refused to listen to me the customer and demanded payment. I felt bullied and belittled since I am a female by Jeff after he laughed in my face and smirked how wrong he thought I was. When I asked a male neighbor to explain to Jeff how my basement smelled because of the moldy carpet and he could see wet spots where heavy furniture was, Jeff knew he was wrong and left telling the other worker to pull fans out of my basement that they were done! My basement read out at 70 percent humidity STILL after several weeks. At one point, I was promised the smell would go away after shampooing the carpet. I said I didn't think so but allowed them to "try" and stating if it still smelled, I needed it out due to health risk to my asthmatic 3 yr old. QUEST did not care or listen to my request leaving me pull out 1200 square foot carpeting that was a year old by myself and I had to hire someone else to dispose of it. Yet, they demand full price! I NEVER even had my plumbing friend bill them for the use of his trash pump and for him losing customer business that evening after we asked several times if they could find more pumps so he could go pump other clients basements, but QUEST couldn't get any more pumps since they took on too many jobs that evening. My plumbing friend lost business and money that night because of Quest lack of service. Shame on the owners for not wanting to hear the truth and are so creed that in the end, they want money not a customer to feel heard and satisfied. They demanded 1000.00 that night and in my distress I never listened to my gut when it said this doesn't feel right. I have had four basement floodings and not once had I had a restoration company ask for money before they would help. Big clue!

I said wow I'm in the wrong business, I didn't know anyone made $250 in 15 minutes and he said the price has gone up And started saying that he had to get his oil changed in his truck and it cost over $100. I'm not sure what that has to do with anything cause we all get our oil changed. Also he doesn't know how to knock on the door, he opened the door and stuck his head in yelling my name as if we were friends scaring my children while doing this. I did have this same company out close to 2 years ago and it was only $125 . Not sure inflation is that bad. Our situation had to get dealt with so I couldn't call around and I should not have assumed that this company hadn't gone money hungry, so I was shocked about the cost, I do understand cost of stuff and if he was here for hours but owners of companies can use discrepancy if it's a fast job. I won't use them anymore.

While he wasn't able to help me then, he left me with a positive impression and I contacted him when my mom had some recent sewer issues. He answered the phone after hours and arranged a convenient time to come out the next day. He promptly diagnosed my mom's issue and then used the appropriate equipment to fix the blockage problem. Considering everything, his pricing was very reasonable and his experience/expertise was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Fred for sewage needs.

Shawn Pedersen Home-Improvement Company just finished the roof on our house. We are very happy with…read morehis work. He put a sign in our yard after the job was completed and the sign reads, Efficient and Affordable. I couldn't agree more. We called several people to come and do an estimate before we decided on if we could afford a new roof. Some of the contractors did not return our call, or did not show up when they said they would. We had another estimate that was $20,000 more than the Pedersen estimate. Unbelievably outrageous! That person spent three hours here trying to convince us we why should pay that much. Shawn had a great warranty. He was very straightforward. He came here and simply gave an estimate; he was not pushy at all. He was great to deal with, his workers were very polite, and generally cleaned up. Shawn came here personally at the end and he made sure all the screws from our original roof were cleaned around the yard with a magnet. We had an issue with our previous roof leaking in an area and we've had one rain since it was completed and no leaks! I would definitely recommend considering him if you were looking at getting some estimates because he shows up when he says he will. And then, I wouldn't be surprised if you end up choosing him after (if) you hear from everyone else.

100% recommend Naz Home Improvement based on our experience with him…read more.. What Naz Did for Us: Naz installed our in-suite whirlpool tub, which involved bringing plumbing from the master bath into the main bedroom suite, doing electrical work at the breaker panel, carpentry to build the frame for the drop-in tub and tiling over the whole enclosure and the floor. How Naz Conducts Business: He was professional from start to finish. Responsive phone calls to our initial inquiry, booties over his shoes when coming out to quote and a line item quote told me from the beginning that Naz is a contractor holding himself to a professional standard. Naz spent 3wks in our home and was SUPER great the whole time. There were a couple unplanned changes as the project progressed, but Naz was very agreeable and reasonable about everything--he even suggested a few to make the finished result better than we planned and we're so glad he did! Naz's Work: Naz is more than an installer--he's a craftsman that takes PRIDE in his work. He made a couple recommendations beyond the original scope of the project at his own expense because he believed it would look or function better. That's how much he CARES. As to the quality of his work, I think the pictures from myself and others speak for themselves. If you get Naz on your project, you won't be disappointed.

There are seriously no words to describe Naz. The closest I can think of is an angel. 5 stars…read morearen't nearly enough! Naz has been a blessing to me and my family. My mother had seriously searched for years to find someone to renovate her bathroom. He is a master of his craft! Every person she called was either dishonest or greedy. I happened to find Naz through Google and all of his reviews were spot on. He is professional, kind, caring, timely, considerate, honest, and a perfectionist. I could literally go on and on about him. He went above and beyond his initial estimate. He is also very considerate of the customer and their future needs and will make suggestions when planning. After gutting the bathroom, he found that the electrical and plumbing was nowhere near up to code. I figured this, as the bathroom lighting stopped working years ago and the cold water from sink would not work. He re-did all of that without charging extra! He also fixed some things around the house that we noticed after he left that had not been working for at least a decade (I kid you not). He painted the bathroom twice to ensure the color was perfect. He also added in some extras in the bathroom that were a total surprise! The quality in the materials used is A1 and well within budget. We could not thank Naz enough for all of the work he has done in the home. When unveiling the bathroom, we both cried. It was emotional because of the time spent waiting for this day and the shock of the before and after. My mom is so proud of her bathroom and now is the talk of the neighborhood. They now refer to her bathroom as the HGTV bathroom. The pictures don't do it justice. It is absolutely beautiful! He made the process so easy. My mom told him a color and he put everything together himself! My mom is excited to work with him for future projects in the home. If you need something done in your home, I HIGHLY recommend Naz for the job! You will NOT be disappointed.
