Worst experience I have ever had at a Quest location. I checked in, waited about an hour. I noticed everyone was being called and I was not. There's no one there at a front desk. I waited until someone opened the door. I asked one of the workers if I was on this list. She told me to hold on but never came back to notify me. I then decided to check the checkin machine to see if I checked in correctly. The machine asked for a copy/scan of my ID and medical insurance and I complied. I never checked in again! Another person opened the door so I asked her (Raygine) she rudely said, why did you check in again, now you're at the end of the list! I tried to explained to her that I did not check in again but she spoke over me and didn't let me finish talking. (The machine asked for my credentials)I I ended up leaving because I'm sure I'd be waiting another hour or treated worse. She was extremely rude! Horrible way to treat a customer. I also want to add, an Asian lady was also extremely rude to an elderly woman who simply had a question. She was loud and left the elderly woman speaking by herself. Didn't assist her. This is not the first time we have the need to use this place. Last week we had to wait for over 4 hours and we had to leave, this location "accepts" walk in appointments but they never want to help customers. I'm going to bet it's a power thing, most likely these reps enjoy miss treating patients. Today a patient was upset because of the long wait, she knocked the door and the two women that work there (I seriously doubt they have any medical or customer service training) started telling people to leave, one (Asian) yelled at the 6 patients there and the other one (Hispanic) threatened everybody with calling the cops. When I join the waitlist the machine doesn't work. I thought it was weird that someone else got a number when they joined the waitlist, so I did it on the machine a different time. I had an appointment at 9:10 on 1/21/25 and arrived at 9:05. I had 2 conformations on my Phone and followed the instructions on the IPAD check-in. When I finished it said I didn't have an appointment and asked me if i wanted to be a walk in. I said no and started over again. the second time it also said i had no appointment and could have a 9:50 Walk in time which i took. They have closed off the space where someone used to sit so there was no one to speak to. I was really pissed but waited for the 9:50. Someone would open the door and call someone name and quickly close the door. Another man who said he was waiting 20 minutes past his appointment and finally got the person to acknowledge him and tell him he was at the wrong Quest...he needed to be across the street. i tried in vain to get her attention to ask about my problem but she quickly closed the door. the waiting room was empty and when she came out again, she called my name. It was 9:45 so jumped up and went in. I explained to her what happened, and she looked at her printed out list of appointments and I was on it at 9:10. It was a very frustrating appointment. Quest has cut out the front office person in an effort to save MONEY and this has resulted in poor customer service. I rate your customer service as a -10. It is impossible to talk to anyone at Quest. everything is computerized and this results in no customer service. I will have all my blood tests at another place if i can do it. Waited till 4:40 then i noticed my son's name disappeared from the standby list so I held the door open as someone was walking out and asked why the name was removed. This 7230 place is absolutely horrid. They don't have enough staff to run the front desk. You can stand there for 30min and no one comes up. The staff does not speak good English and does know not to speak to patients. They have a rude tone of voice. Their vocabulary is very limited so they just repeat themselves. I know we get workers across seas in the phone for companies....but face to face businesses locally should not hire like this. As an added course in lobotomy, there should also be a course for client relations and fluency in English. I believe the other office at 7345 is great. read more

I had an appointment today for 11:30 got there a bit early, signed in, scanned my insurance and took a seat. People walked in and nev registered then just walked into the drawing room. 15 minutes later a kid and his mom signed in and got called before they even sat dow, then it happened with another ma. At this point I had waited thirty minutes and just left because I had a cardiac rehab session in a couple of minute. Never even saw anyone who worked there. What a scam. Even after settling a multimillion $ Fraud lawsuit for over billing and giving Dr.'s kickback they didn't learn their lesson. Got a bill today that was clearly a mistake called them to find out what was going on...they don't have helpful customer service reps they have mean collection people answering the phones. Never is there an attempt to look into if a mistake was made just aggressively yelling at me I have to pay them or I'll be sent to collections. After 30 mins of arguing they realized it was an "accident" I was billed and fixed it. Stay away from Drs that use Quest this seems to be a common thing with them. read more

Now located in a different suite #605. Todays experience was interesting. The lab was super packed. Practically every seat was taken. I came as a walk in and I was informed the wait would be about an hour wait. I stayed and waited it out. I noticed that many of the patients were complaining and were beginning to get upset at how long they had to wait. Very few people came in with appointments. I only notice 3 people that did. Perhaps there might have been one or two at most that I did not notice. staff was a team three people working and one of them was checking people in as well, so in others words only two workers were doing labs while the other person worked at the front desk. Once I got in the service was great. My lab tech was very nice and easy going. She explained what she was going to do to me and what I needed todo for them. So i proceeded with my blood work tests per routine. The lab was very clean and organized but note to self if possible "will make an appointment next time!!!." A suggesting to the lab please work on getting people in and out faster perhaps one More Phlebotomists on board could keep your clients happy which should be priority. read more

I had to do outside of UCLA and I went here. HUGE problem. The phlebotomist couldn't find my vein on the 1st try. She made an insertion and kept digging in until I screamed that it hurt! She didn't get the vein! I threaten to leave that place and this made her focused. She promptly found my vein and did her job. Upon, completion, she said she was "done". I stopped looking away and look at what she did. Guess what? She left the needle in my arm- a sight that I didn't want to see. This person needs to be re-educated in her job and how she conducts with her client. If the Manager is reading this & you want me to tell you who it was, contact me with your phone # and I will call you. Bottomline, I just called UCLA and I found an outside lab (UCLA Lab Burl) that I will go to next time. I suggest you go elsewhere and save yourself from the drama. read more

Hello quest support. I would like to bring an Incident that happened at your medical center drive location today, to your attention. It was not related to me but related to an elderly lady who was waiting at your location when i arrived. She was waiting for her turn while all other walk-ins after her were getting served and leaving. At one point one of your staff lady asked her if she registered at the kiosk. To which the old lady replied that her daughter registered her over the phone. To which this rude staff lady said it must be at other location , go there. This old lady was distraught after hearing that because she had no way of going and started to panic. Then the rude staff lady asked her to register at the kiosk. Now this elderly lady started to cry because she didn't know how to operate the kiosk. Other customer tried to help but she couldn't even recall her birthday, she was so distraught. This made no difference to you staff lady and she walked away. At that point another customer asked the old lady's name and noticed that her initials were on the screen under appointment and assured her that she will be taken care of in 28 minutes. This crying old lady composed her self after hearing this and kept on waiting. When your staff lady came out (different one this time ) I asked her what's going on why isn't she getting service , to which staff lady acknowledged that she has appointment and will be seen at the time of her appointment. So there are many issues here. First , the staff lady who confused the elderly lady by telling her to go to other location or register at kiosk , could have been more compassionate and checked further before giving wrong advice. Second , if she really thought the elderly lady needed to sign in at the kiosk and saw that she was distraught, May be she could have help her sign in. Finally, the best way to handle would have been to find her appointment, and attend to her right away, since there weren't many people waiting. This whole experience was shocking. No elderly person should be treated this way. You are in health care business, compassion should be second nature to your staff. Please do some thing so this doesn't happen again. I received a false positive for a very stigmatized disease from this office and now I am stuck paying hundreds for that blood test and the subsequent blood tests to prove that I do not have this stigmatized disease. I no longer trust this office, as someone may be walking around with the disease they claimed I have, or their testing procedures are ineffective. read more
