I received good service. I know bad customer service is everyones main complain for this location but me personally I was taken care of properly. Made an appointment for 12pm I arrived at 1148. Checked in on their kiosk which was super easy, I just scanned my barcode that was sent to me by email. A male called my name asked for confirmation number and then I waited to be called. I was in by 12:02 pm about 2 mins after my scheduled appointment. I'd say that's amazing in my book. Staff was nice, explained the process of what I needed to do and took care of business. I was in and out by 1215 ish the latest. I had planned to be there for an hour and so I cleared my schedule from 12 to 1. Now I had all this time to kill and decided to just run more errands. So I went to the DMV. I was impressed. Good job, LabCorp. read more

I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Labcorp West Hills location while completing a mandatory pre-employment drug screening. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk for several minutes. When a staff member finally appeared, I was simply directed to use the kiosk, despite having questions that required assistance. During my visit, I also observed elderly and disabled patients who appeared to need help checking in, yet they were also directed to the kiosk with little to no assistance. After checking in, I waited approximately 20 minutes before being called. The employee who assisted me displayed some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered in a medical setting. Her tone was stern, dismissive, and unwelcoming from start to finish. I understand that drug testing requires specific procedures, but there is a significant difference between enforcing procedures and treating people with respect. Throughout the process, I felt as though I was being treated like a suspected criminal rather than a professional completing a routine employment requirement. Every instruction was delivered with an unnecessarily harsh tone, and the overall interaction left me feeling degraded and uncomfortable. Regardless of whether someone is taking a pre-employment screening, a court-ordered test, or any other medical test, patients deserve to be treated with dignity and basic courtesy. The entire experience felt cold, impersonal, and hostile. If I had a choice, I would not return to this location and would not recommend it to others. Unfortunately, this location was assigned by my employer. This was easily the worst experience I have had in a healthcare-related setting, and I hope Labcorp takes steps to improve both its customer service and patient experience. read more

From getting my appointment details online and coming here, I was already confused trying to find the right suite for Labcorp. For some reason, there's no suite number listed other than the plaza medical building. It took a lot of digging to finally find that only one link texted to me showed the suite number. I think it was 304? I forgot, but the directory down below in the building didn't even show Labcorp either. I came across someone else who was trying to walk-in and they followed me in our search for this spot. One half of the building is closed and you have to enter through the parking lot side. When you go up the right floor and find the correct room, you enter and see a waiting room with so much people waiting, with a large screen TV and some ladies by the front. I walked towards the tablet and checked in on my own with the kiosk. I got called up by one of the ladies who bluntly just asked for my registration number. Her customer service was clearly disappointing to not just me, but to everyone else. My name would be on the TV with others. My name & 2 others was erased maybe 5 minutes in for some reason & it only displayed one name but all of us was still waiting to be called. They take walk-ins so your name on the TV is color-coded if you have an appointment or not. I had an "appointment" but still waited 20 minutes over my time, even with checking in 15 minutes early to my appointment. It turns out, the guy doing the urine tests inside literally goes one at a time. This other guy comes out after 20 minutes and suddenly starts drinking like 5 cups of water from the dispenser. He was told to wait and then I was called next. The guy who did my urine testing was also very lacking in customer service and seemed to hate being there. Beware! The guy drew a line on the cup and requests for a pretty big amount of urine so I could see why the guy before me was struggling to fill the cup too. I did the best I could and asked if it was enough. The guy was stressing outloud when he poured my urine cup into the vial. I offered to drink some water and try again later but the guy said it should be okay, although he seemed very low confidence about it. I would ask him questions about the results and be cordial and he would answer very bluntly too. When your done, he stares at you to leave without saying that's it or anything. The ladies at the front would prefer you to just walk away without speaking a word to them. read more

Labcorp - Lobby - Laboratory Testing Near Me - West Hills, California

No wonder this location already has so many negative reviews and a 2.3-star rating. This team is incredibly disorganized and shows no respect for people's time. I had a 10:00 a.m. appointment, arrived as scheduled, and somehow there were still five people ahead of me. No one explained the delay, no one gave an update, and having an appointment seemed to mean absolutely nothing. After waiting an hour, they finally called my name only to tell me I needed a new registration number. That should have been caught when I first checked in, but apparently no one bothered to verify it. So I had to start over with another registration number and sit down again for yet another long wait. To make matters worse, while patients were still sitting there with no communication and no clarity, the team went on lunch break. No notice, no effort to manage expectations, nothing. At that point, I had already been there for over two and a half hours for what was supposed to be a scheduled appointment. This was one of the most unprofessional and poorly managed LabCorp experiences I've had. If you can avoid this location, do. read more

I was nervous and the guy who works here told me I was being timed and I had 2 mins and I have shy bladder and they've never had a rule like this before so Idk why I'm being timed so this is new and very strange So becareful and watch out cause I felt uncomfortable and he had a bad attitude and was super rude and inconsiderate . I just called as well today too speak to management this time Angie picked up too! It's funny because it's the same people who were speaking Spanish and talking crap and there both very angry people and don't have a welcoming and caring personality!! I highly recommend somewhere else and maybe hire better people and staff and less unwelcoming and rude staff read more

I had a hard time figuring out exactly where they were located because the building is full of offices, and when you walk in everything is closed and there's no one around to ask. So I wanted to share this in case it helps anyone with an appointment or walk‑in: they're on the 3rd floor, on the left side of the elevators. I wish someone had told me, so I decided to pass it along. read more

Very disappointing experience. Stephanie at the front desk was extremely rude and impatient. She was unhelpful and made the entire visit much more difficult than it needed to be. Customer service here definitely needs improvement. read more

They are extremely racist. They called every Hispanic person's name, meanwhile me and another African American gentleman patiently waited in the lobby. There were Hispanic individuals continuously checking in after we arrived but were somehow call to the back before us. This is highly unethical and ridiculous, but I assure you I will be sending my complaint as far up to corporate as I can!!! read more

So, there are two locations in West Hills across the parking lot from each other. I have been to both several times over the years. I am writing this review for the location at 7345 Medical Center Drive location. I had to get blood drawn twice in a week and a half, and had the same technician, Berniece. I am a super "hard stick" and get brutalized EVERY time anyone needs blood from me. At least 2 - 3 sticks every time without exception! Berniece was quick, precise, and got it on the first draw (which is highly unusual!). I was hoping I would get her again on my second visit, and did! Again, she got it on the first draw. Both times, they were backed up and people were waiting in the hallway. They had been having some IT issues. Berniece was efficient, friendly, and fast! I am ONLY going to go to her for blood draws from now on! Even with all the patients backed up, she was keeping it together and working through the crowd. Someone give this girl a raise! read more

Horrible experience. For employment drug test where you have limited time, this place has no available appointments. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment, you will wait an hour in the reception area. Walk ins can expect 3-4 hour wait. They have only one bathroom for urine test. Reception staff is extremely rude and doesn't respect privacy. Will be asking my employer to never recommend them. read more

Horrible experience, rude staff especially David screaming at patients for no reason, will never be back

Fasting 12+ hrs for nothing. Garbage, customer service. Upon arriving I immediately told JUAN BEFORE checking in I don't have my insurance card he says it's fine. Hour passes after they call in everyone showing up after me, they finally call me up and say they're not doing anything without it. What did you waste my time for then ?! Stephanie was zero help, useless if you will. read more

Don't make an appointment west Hills location (7345). They are so, so rude and unprofessional. This place was empty, and they told me twice, on different days, to go to another location, even though I had an appointment. We don't have time here. read more

Had to go in for a mandatory new-hire drug test, and the whole staff was so rude! The only reason I came was because this is the testing location that my place of employment uses. Would never come back to have any type of blood work or lab work done. Do not recommend! read more

They make up their own hours. One day they close an hour early. The next they stopped doing drug test for 3 hours. Staff is rude to everybody, no exceptions. Terrible. read more

Four stars, one knocked off because the self-check in kiosk was broken. It "works" but there were issues with it working correctly which caused confusion and frustration since there was not a dedicated front office staff member to check in patients or answer questions. Patients moved fast although they were a bit busy. I was promptly assisted by David O. He was very compassionate, friendly, easy to talk to, helpful, and efficient. Easy in and out! read more

Went in for blood work that was referred from my neurologist. Spent an hour in the waiting room while they were talking about what they wanted for lunch on the phone. After an hour they asked to see my insurance info and said they don't accept it. Could have looked at my card and told me before I waited an hour sitting there while they ordered lunch. Very unprofessional and would never recommend this business read more

She delivers the highest standard of excellence in service. We had such a great experience with the West Hills Labcorp. They have 2 labs near the West Hills Hospital and there was some confusion (on my part!) about which location I'd made an appointment with. I arrived at the wrong location and so was going to miss the appointment at the proper lab. I explained we really needed the lab for a surgery in just a couple days. Instead of putting us off, the staff was so kind and called the other Labcorp and arranged for them to see us right away. The other lab is just in the next medical building but my Uncle is disabled to so takes time to load and unload wheelchair. Then when we got to the other location there was an issue with the doctor who didn't have an account for medicare billing. Once again Labcorp came through and took the time to find a work around so we could get the labs done. Lab tech was also great, quick and charming. They were all so kind and patient! Highly recommend Labcorp! read more

The place is empty and they make you wait hours. Any other lab corp location is not like that. Here you should start drinking water when you walk inside. The administration is slow so as the guy inside . Any other place is busy and they manage to get you in at the same time of your appointment. If you have a choir to avoid this place then do that read more

Bernice was so amazing! Made me feel super comfortable and it was by far the best experience I've had getting my blood drawn, barely felt anything! I barely had to wait and the check in process was super easy too. read more

Staff is a bit rude to the patients. Some patients can't walk well and they were yelling and screaming to the patient. Needing a blood test? Drug test for work or school? This is a great place to go. No appointment needed. Super clean, super friendly, and quick. I tried at other locations and it was hard to get an appointment. When l went to the location in Long Beach for "walk ins" l waited over 2 hours. Ugh. Waiting, for hours during Covid times just seem risky. This location is the best. I know, it is never fun, but they make it painless. The waiting room is pleasant. They have water to prep for the test. There is a computer to simply check in with. It is as efficient and easy as it gets. read more

Labcorp - Laboratory Testing Near Me - West Hills, California

I had a very unpleasant experience with the receptionist. She was extremely rude and seemed visibly annoyed that I was asking questions. On top of that, she was wearing a mask that made it almost impossible to understand what she was saying -- her voice was completely muffled and unclear. It left me feeling very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I really don't understand why it's so hard to just be polite and professional. A little kindness and clear communication go a long way, especially at the front desk. read more

Came to visit for an employer drug screen test and I observed the receptionist/front office staff being so unprofessional and rude to everybody who came in. From her tone to the way she worded things. I was not impressed at all with their service and it actually felt very uncomfortable and hostile. I hope to never have to come here again. Raul was the person who drew my blood, and it really wasn't painful at all. He did an excellent job in taking 3 vials of blood and was very friendly and kind. If I can give 0 stars I would. I've been here twice and both times with an appointment WAITED 45 MINUTES!!!! What's the point in making an appointment! Rude front desk, dirty waiting room, room 1 did not have a working soap dispenser. The room look unhygienic. I had to have bloodwork done for a doctor without an office/lab. I had to book 2 weeks out for a morning appointment: why would I book afternoon appt for fasting draw? It's unfortunate to be forced to go to this lab since not that many labs around me & insurance complications.
